Parker giggles with shirtless Dan, who teases his boy about his muscles. Jen stops and soap stares. Dan sees her and also stares. Jen whispers she did not intend to intrude. She is not sorry she saw him, though. They admire Parker splashing in the water. Shirtless Dan breathes Parker missed her. Jen missed him too and she missed Dan the man like crazy! Everyone keeps saying she made a mistake. Dan thinks what others think does not count, only what she thinks. Jen sighs she has realized that life is short. Her heart says she is a fool and she does not even want this break, this ever so difficult distance between them. The medicine man pulls her into his arms and silences her with a passionate kiss. They marvel how they have missed each other as he holds her. They were too wonderful to be over! He promises to be her backup with JJ as well. Jen’s eyes shine with love and hope. The future looks bright. - At Horton house, JJ complains to Rory that Abigail texted him about how he knows that "stoned skank"Theresa. He almost walked in on their fight, too. JJ hopes she will not tell his mom anything. Rory remarks he cannot run or hide. JJ thinks he will still be able to smooth things over, however, with a little help from his friend. Rory later shows him the email he sent from his drunken mom’s account confirming those were Rory’s sneakers. JJ is pleased as punch and follows it up with a call. - Marlena and Sami are fancy at the mansion, all dressed up for Father Eric’s holy reception. Marlena almost chokes when she perceives the new DiMera portrait, of EJ and Sami! Sami gushes they will soon be the new Mr. and Mrs. DiMera. Marlena is at a loss for words, then points out EJ wants Stefano to see that to rub salt in the wounds. He has drawn her in, like his Lady Macbeth. Sami argues she is excited to be marrying EJ and marry they shall soon! Two weeks is the date! Marlena wonders why the rush. Sami exclaims they have been engaged for 3 months. Marlena notes she was busy. Will got his baby and then Sami killed a man. How about a break? Sami suspects she wants her to withdraw from the marriage altogether. Marlena warns her once upon a time her portrait hung there too and what followed was cruelty and heartbreak. She doubts Kristen and Stefano have changed. He will seek revenge on those who betrayed him, as well as their offspring. Sami insists EJ is just as powerful as his father. Marlena points out if he is not as ruthless, then they are in danger, and if he is as ruthless, then why the hell would she want to marry him! - At the rectory, Eric reacts to EJ’s claim that Nicole must love him. The priest pouts and insists they are friends only. EJ thinks he is a fool! Eric drawls he is about to marry his sister and has ousted his homicidal father. Now his sudden focus is on Nicole and him? EJ warns some hurricanes cannot be predicted, like Katrina and Nicole. Eric would rather focus on the school today He is not interested in listening to his slander. However, it does not surprise him one bit that EJ cannot grasp a man and woman could be good friends, with no agenda at play. Hope arrives in a green cocktail dress. Eric greets her and excuses himself, as he must return to the ecclesiastics. Hope stops EJ from leaving and stares him down. She wishes to discuss Stefano’s forced early retirement. EJ is not fussed about the phoenix. Hope folds her arms and points out he might not be down for the count. EJ drawls he is nothing. Hope finds out his son now has the power of the legit arm of the family business only. What about the criminal side? EJ confidently replies he is the betta man.The detective questions whether his engagement with Sami is a distraction and seems to doubt they will be living happily ever after. EJ grins they are looking forward to becoming a dull married couple. What about Stefano? He considers him a thing of the past. - Father Matt is at the new school and confirms to nervous Nicole that something is not good with the bishop. It is a feeling he has! Meanwhile, Brady saunters in, surprised to see Kristen. She has her video ready for the bishop and boasts to Brady that this will be a day to remember! She suggests he walk around the grounds instead of just bothering her. He announces he has something to say and wants to shares his thoughts. She snaps it is too late and he cannot stop her from what she needs to do! Brady is baffled. He takes a step closer and explains he understands ... Enter Nicole and Sister Margaret. Nicole sarcastically kisses Kristen and goes on a tirade about shining DiMera values. Brady mutters he wants a word with Kristen alone. Nicole thinks there is no point. Kristen agrees and wonders where the bishop is. Father Eric reappears. She flashes back to their lascivious affair and drops her bag with a start. Eric gallantly picks it up for her and she scurries off. Brady is pleased to see his brother. Secretary Nicole needs to go over their list of donors. Eric places his arm on her back and informs his brother he will be back later. Meanwhile Kristen has entered a classroom, where she runs into a little boy, who says that is his desk she is standing at. She looks down at his notebook and reads the name Brady Black Jr. She shuts the book fast, willing away the hallucination. Brady now stands in the doorway, looking through the eyes of love ... - As Dan gets Parker ready, Jen takes a call from JJ, who innocently asks permission to study at the library. She says yes. He thanks her and adds there is a girl there who is a super tutor. Jen is sorry she was suspicious as she got that email from Rory’s mom about the sneakers. JJ pretends to be into his studies and gets off the phone. Rory cackles. JJ thinks he has it all under control now. Back at the lake, Jen informs Dan that her son will be at the library so they can have some privacy at her house to ... talk. He likes the sound of that! She gushes she will see him soon and exits. Dan thanks his dude son for hugging her cos it helped! He dries him off to get him home cos a gentleman cannot keep a lady waiting! JJ, however, is no lady ... - EJ elegantly awaits dahling in front of the pub. - The bishop comes back, ready to meet with Kristen but where oh where has she gone ...?!
