Part 2 - Jen returns to the hospital and refers to the new protocols she has set in place to the nurse. She is dismayed to hear assistant Theresa did not distribute it and storms off to confront her, though the nurse has not even seen the girl. - Dan arrives with a bouquet of flowers for Jen. JJ opens the door. He quips she is not here and would not want to see him. He mutters he was invited and walks on in. When Jen shows up, JJ glumly walks out with his backpack, complaining he was told they had broken up. Jen assures her son she loves him. However, it is not his business. JJ complains he believed things were good between them! He has been trying! He claims to be scared the doctor who hates him will start spreading more stories about him. Jen insists Daniel hates no one. JJ gets sarcastic about her doing what is best for her boyfriend again and exits. Jen sighs and shuts the door. Dan is sitting on the soda with the flowers. Jen glumly asks how it went with him and JJ. Dan admits the boy gave him a rather icy reception. He now realizes he has swayed his mother yet again and curses. She sighs her and JJ were making progress until he found out they were reconciling. Dan implores her not to throw their love away. First the break, then the talk, then the no break and the kiss, Now after JJ, she wants the break back. She gasps she wants him to be fair. Dan is exasperated. He has been fair and respectful and emotionally jerked around all because of the mind games her son is playing - with her! She denies he plays games. Dan understands she is afraid but he is not the problem, Jen starts to cry she loves her son. Dan just wants her to stop thinking she has to choose. She is giving JJ the manipulator the upper hand. He will not let her lose her son. However if she continues to push him away, he will not be able to help her. He urges her to listen to her heart and stay with him! - Sami states she loves EJ and finds his power seductive. She toys with the chess board. Marlena gathers she cannot change her mind and wishes she was wrong. Sami changes the subject by explaining she wants today to be about Eric. Marlena doubts that too! - Eric and Nicole are sitting by the window and he thanks her for helping him. He recounts how they ended up helping each other after he hired her. She is his best friend. He repeats out they are friends. Nicole is perplexed. Eric now informs her that EJ had something to say about their relationship. She calls him a bastard. The priest reminds her not to swear on church property. He assures his volatile secretary he did not believe EJ the troublemaker either. Ciara and Hope arrive. The little girl is excited about singing at the mass. The three ecclesiastics reappear and stand together. Father Matt, the Monseigneur, and the bishop. Eric wonders whether the bishop wants to wait in his office. The bishop wonders where the donor is who was seeking an audience with him. A Kristen DiMera ... - Kristen asks Brady to leave and stop questioning her presence here. He explains he only wants to talk about them! He has the truth on his mind and wants to know what she is feeling. He spoke to John , who revealed what her real motives were that fateful night. Kristen screams about all John’s lies, tells Brady and his clan to go to hell for misjudging her, and storms out. Brady is unable to stop her, but follows her. - Suited EJ meets Sami and Marlena outside the pub. He kisses dahling and gushes she looks spectacular. The tension remains between mother and daughter. Sami wonders how Eric felt about the big donation He was grateful. Sami now decides to go check on Caroline, who is still getting ready. She enters the pub while Marlena stays outside. EJ detects the tension. Marlena does not deny it. She was unable to give their wedding plans her blessing! EJ patiently assures her he understands her concern. However, this is truly a permanent changing of the guard. It is his and Samantha’s time at long last! He will do all necessary to protect his family, which now also includes Marlena. Sami emerges. EJ pretends they had a nice chat, puts his arm around his beloved, and they walk ahead. Marlena sighs. "What could go wrong?!" - JJ hooks up with Rory by the pub and boasts he bested the surfer doc again! Meanwhile, Jen suggests she take time to make certain JJ is indeed getting better. Another break is in order. Dan breathes she shuts him out every time. It will kill what they share! Until she sees that, he wants no contact with her at all! He storms out. - Irate Kristen returns as the gang gather round the reception area. Her presence creates quite a stir. She takes the baffled bishop aside. She has committed a sin against God and believes she might not be forgiven! Her sin could even ruin this very school which was built in the good Lord’s name! The bishop believes this might not be the best time or place, EJ and Sami arrive. Marlena follows. Kristen decides it must be right here and right now! Loverboy Brady returns and stands by his unsuspecting brother. Kristen makes the sign of the cross as she glares daggers at nemesis Marlena. "Bless me father for I have sinned!" Her eyes cloud over like a woman obsessed … Ahead on Days of Our Lives The reception is crashed by the cops. Brady tells Kristen how he feels. |
