Part 2 Justin is preoccupied at the house of Kiriakis, where flirty Adrienne wants the details of his mysterious meeting. He teases he would rather join her in bed for pizza and television, as she requested. They kiss. At DiMera mansion, EJ smugly toasts Stefano’s portrait and drinks to the past, which was fatha’s, and then the future, which belongs all to him! Sami comes in, out of breath, and he cannot help but notice she needs a drink. She insists she only wants him and throws her arms around him. They kiss passionately. Gabi asks Nick to tell her what is troubling him. He pretends he was trying to be poetic. Sonny brings Rafe his coffee and asks if something is the matter. Will frowns and shakes his head. Rafe admits he was trying to find out what happened between Will and Nick. Sonny understands he is concerned about Gabi. Rafe remarks Nick became tense when he mentioned Will’s name. Sonny sits down beside Will and Rafe repeats what is the problem between Will and Nick? Will sighs he cannot say. Rafe is about to go, then comes back and wants to know if Will signed away his rights because of Sami or was it something else. Will whispers it was the something else. Rafe is satisfied with the answer and saunters out carrying his coffee. Kate calls Stefano and assures him that whatever he assumed he knew about is now over. He cackles he did not even care and she hangs up. Meanwhile Rafe walks alone through the town square and stops at a window display featuring Kate’s cosmetics. Memories of their passionate affair come flooding back, the first time they woke up together. Back to reality. He walks away. Meanwhile, Kate pauses by cherry blossoms, remembers loving Rafe, and sighs she is sorry. They sure were good together! The coffee house is closed for the night and woeful Will is wearing his backpack. Sonny encourages him to feel festive. Will worries if they celebrate early, that could jinx their wonderful life together. Sonny teases it would be a calm life too, until his daughter came and wreaked havoc. Will grins and refers to his daughter as AG. Sonny teases she will be like Sami and is pleased when Will laughs heartily, like the old days. Will now agrees to celebrate, They certainly deserve it. He gives Sonny a quick kiss and they embrace. Gabi is less than happy to return to the trashed room. Nick sends her to get into her pajamas and promises to clean up. He takes out his phone and reads a text from Vargas, who assumes he is taking good care of all his money. Oh oh! As Justin pours himself a drink, Adrienne complains about Sonny and Will's acceptance of Sami being in league with that devil EJ DiMera. Justin gets a faraway look in his eye. She wonders what is on his legal mind - it must either be a case he dreads or is thrilled about. Justin admits he himself is not sure which category the case would fit into. Nevertheless, he is intrigued. After the loving, EJ and Sami cuddle under the sheets. He marvels at her enthusiasm. She gushes she was turned on, then nervously informs him she perceived Stefano with his dirty cop. She worriedly explains Stefano ordered the man to bring him the evidence and not destroy it. That would give him power over them! EJ sighs Stefano only looks out for his best interests. Sami rests her weary head on his shoulder. EJ learns she did not let on to Will and offers to take care of the man his beloved has referred to as a bastard. Sami kisses him in gratitude and they give into temptation in their grand bed at the DiMera mansion, part of the empire EJ is already scheming to claim all for himself ... END!
