Part 2 Dan shows up at the mansion to drag Brady the groom out of this temple of doom to enjoy his last night of freedom. He will not take no for an answer! Meanwhile Kristen is admiring her wedding dress. There is a knock at her door. Tis bff Jennifer, bearing pizza and wine. Kristen is surprised to see her. Jen innocently wonders if she already had plans. Kristen claims she only had chores related to beauty planned. Jen offers to help. The almost bride insists she wants to celebrate with her friend and opens the wine. It is red, the color of blood. Jen admires the dress and the necklace. Now they need something old. Kristen explains she is not superstitious and gives her a glass of wine. Jen gushes she and Dan are proud to stand up for the happy couple. It will be a perfect day! Kristen can no longer meet her gaze and sadly begs her to stop. Jen hopes she is not having doubts. Kristen sighs she is overwhelmed. So much has been happening in Salem. Jen can relate. She shares that JJ is back in town but she would rather not elaborate. Kristen calls her a great mom. Jen is curious whether she and Brady have discussed kids. She is excited to learn that Brady brought up adoption. Kristen can bear it no more and is reduced to tears. Jen is sorry. Kristen cries she is sweet and she loves the effort, yet would rather be alone. Jen suggests she sleep well and smiles she will see her in the morning. Exit Jen. Kristen sits back down on the bed next to the fancy wedding dress and breaks down. Meanwhile, Brady and Dan have enjoyed an hour at the batting cage and now sit down to a meal at the town square cafe. Brady remembers his dad, then wishes he would be happy for them or at least leave them alone. However, he knows John believes in the sacred institution of marriage. That means that he will never be able to break up him and Kristen once they are wed! Sami and Lucas emerge from Will’s room. Sonny was with Arianna Grace and returns to spend more time with Will. Lucas asks about EJ, then gets sarcastic when Sami replies he felt he should give them family time, hence his absence. They toast with coffee to being grandparents and giggle. Back in Will’s room, Sonny takes his hand and declares he loves him more each day. The three of them will have an amazing life together - him, Will, and Arianna Grace. He now heads back out to tell Sami that her brother Eric has arrived (unseen). Sami summoned him to perform an anointing of the sick for Will and goes to join him. Lucas now has something to say to Sonny and he is serious. He is sorry about the things he said when he and Will first got together. Sonny insists that is ancient history. Lucas is moved by how much he loves Will and there is no one else he would rather see with his boy! Meanwhile Sami cries at Will’s bedside that he is a dad but he will always be her perfect little baby boy. She breaks down as the machine beeps on. Hope has stopped off at the coffee house with bored Ciara. She understands she misses daddy and wishes mommy did not have to work so much. But what she did ... Ciara quips she works too much and she thought they would never go to the zoo if she saw the letter. She adds Johnny does bad things too. He stole something from her! Hope wants the details. Ciara shrugs it off. It does not matter. The mini schemestress is smart enough to know that it did not belong to her either! JJ laments that Jack sounded unhappy when he spoke with him in his last few months. Abigail blames herself as she was hard on him. She loved him dearly, as did their mom. JJ gets testy when she points out he was not even in town. They all love and miss papa Jack. JJ accuses Abigail and Jen of moving on and snaps at her to go find her own Dr. Feelgood. Abigail walks away in a huff. JJ’s scruffy new pal soon arrives at the door. He has the stuff. They intend to go out and have some highly questionable fun. John is sitting alone in the park, next to the bright spring flowers. He saves a text he will send later, with a request to meet him at Kristen’s hotel room. He removes his wedding ring, his heart breaking, feeling he has no choice. Meanwhile at the mansion, suited Stefano is pleased that William is going to be fine. EJ, however, has other matters on his mind. He pours himself a drink and toasts to the event of the season! Marlena comes back from a phone call as Johnny is putting away the picture he took from Ciara ... the one which shows Kristen paying Brady’s mugger. Marlena noticed him putting something away in a hurry. The lad lowers his voice, admitting he did a bad thing. Eerie music plays. Jen joins Dan and Brady at the town square. Impulsive romantic Brady decides to pay a surprise visit to his almost bride. At that very moment, Kristen opens her door to John. Their eyes meet. She is like a cat, drinking her blood red wine. He peers down at her, playing it cool, though if things go his way, things are about to get hotter than hell ... END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives JJ crosses the line with Dan. Brady knows Nicole loves Eric! |
