Episode 12,091 - Gabi has just given birth in the primitive shed but the baby is not crying. Sonny holds the tiny newborn wrapped in cloth. Gabi wonders what is wrong! She screams to do something. Sonny hits the baby on the back and she lets out a wail. He is amazed. Gabi is grateful and wants her baby. She holds Arianna Grace for the first time ever and cries tears of joy. Sonny gushes wait until Will meets her! Gabi cradles her baby and worries about the others. Sonny is sure they got away but she fears they were hurt. Sonny calms the new mom and says luck is on her side today. Look at perfect little Arianna! - The cabin erupts into chaos. Detective Hope jumps in and shoots Jensen the scum in the head. She has shot him dead and he falls down, never to terrorize anyone again. Nick is shocked. He gasps Jensen shot Will. Hope attends to unconscious Will, calls for help, and urges him to stay with them. Nick is extremely upset about Will. Hope tries to stop the bleeding on his chest and urges him to hang on. The cops arrive. Nick is untied and is now also at Will’s side. Will gurgles about Gabi and Sonny. Nick tells Hope everything that happened. Hope instructs the cops to go and find the others. Will closes his eyes again. They beg him to hold on! - The cops now find Sonny and Gabi and ask them to stay put. She cries in relief, then asks Sonny whether he heard that helicopter passing overhead. They cops had explained Will and Nick were out of danger but the investigation was ongoing. They await their own medical transfer, unaware that Will has been seriously injured. Meanwhile the paramedics have arrived at the cabin, where Jensen lies dead on the floor. They note Will took a shot to the abdomen. They need an OR as his pulse is fading! Hope and Nick watch with bated breath. Hope asks crying Nick to fill her in. "He saved my life," he sobs. Hope soon ushers him out, after the paramedics and the patient. Nick takes one last long look at the lifeless, covered form of his once tormenter. - At the coffee house, Kate slaps Sami for her mouth. Sami is as wild as her unmanageable mane. Kate rages she cannot begin to imagine how much Rafe means to her. Sami gasps she actually loves him. Kate denies it and says she broke it off. Sami stops her and taunts she ran away from love. They take it outside and Kate trashes her for turning her back on Rafe the good for EJ. - Lucas runs into Marlena outside the pub. She is there to meet Sami. Lucas bitterly brings up her engagement to EJ and shares his theory. He thinks Sami is traumatized from becoming a grandmother. Why else would she want to marry a DiMera? Why are she and EJ engaged? Pretty psychologist in red Marlena muses this does defy analysis, though she loves her daughter. Lucas agrees Sami happy is certainly better than Sami unhappy. They exchange a few more pleasantries and go their separate ways. Meanwhile Kate wants a promise from Sami - that she and EJ will leave Rafe the hell alone! Sami starts to say she wants Rafe to stay away from her but is interrupted by a shocking call from Hope. - EJ has handed lawyer Justin three envelopes at the park. Justin takes a look and notes he really wants to take it all from Stefano. Indeed. EJ has given him the proxies of three of the most respected men on Wall Street. He smugly points out they were on Stefano’s side, but he did not need to dig very deep to make them join his party. And the phoenix, as it turns out, is shorting his own company stock. Justin is stunned. EJ notes when it comes time to vote, they will be able to oust Stefano from DiMera Enterprises! The next board meeting is in two months. Justin suspects Stefano will see the scheme coming. EJ doubts it for he is too preoccupied at present with Kate and Rafe’s affair. He did not take it well. Ring ring! Tis Sami, crying that Will was shot and to meet her at the hospital. - The hospital is rather quiet. Maxine and Dan discuss Rafe, the fact that there has been no change. All of a sudden, Maxine gets a call. A gunshot is being airlifted in. Den gets serious. After Will has been brought in, Hope works the phone. Nick stands nearby. Maxine informs him Gabi is already here and he is a father. Nick stares. Dr. Dan heads into surgery ... Maxine insists on checking on the baby and promises Gabi she will bring her back soon. Gabi spies Nick and a tearful reunion ensues. She praises Sonny for delivering the baby. They want to know where Will is. Hope explains he is in surgery. When they hear he was shot Gabi gets worried. Sonny gasps no and his eyes become red. Maxine now returns to push Gabi’s wheelchair to get her checked out. Hope promises to keep them updated. Nick appears numb. Meanwhile, Dr. Dan frantically works in the OR to save a life ... Maxine takes Gabi to a room and informs her the baby is in neonatal. Gabi asks where Will was shot. Maxine assures her Dan will take good care of her friend. She will pray for him. Gabi asks her to pray for Sonny too ... Sami,Kate, and Lucas arrive at the hospital. The women are in tears. Sonny laments the sicko shot their Will. It was the one who knew Nick from prison. Lucas and Sami become incensed. Sami accuses Nick of setting it up. She screams at him for trying to have her son killed as Kate holds her back. Hope later updates Sami, EJ, Justin, Kate and Lucas et al. about what really happened, the fact that the bad guy was after Nick all along, not Rafe. EJ has his arms around Sami. Hope praises Will for stepping up, not leaving the cabin, and also Sonny for delivering Gabi’s baby. Justin is flabbergasted about Sonny’s delivery skills. However, he already knew he was a hero. Sami is a still wreck. EJ suggests they go meet the new baby. Kate and Lucas come with. Gabi is fine and has just been checked out by a doctor. She asks about Rafe. There has been no change, but the doctor will see what she can do. Gabi wants to see her baby. She soon holds her in her arms and gushes she is beautiful. Maxine thinks she is comfy in her mama’s arms. Gabi notes it felt like a dream. The gang enter and admire the bundle of joy. Sami cries she is a precious girl. Kate thanks God. Lucas grins proudly and tells Gabi she did a great job. She points out so did Sonny. They take turns holding the new addition to the family. EJ, however, has remained at the nurse’s station. Hope admits to him that she was wrong. He snaps he was not surprised by her police work. He is more concerned about William, whose life was made a living hell by her cousin! He haughtily walks off, leaving her to consider. Nick sits numbly alone, staring into space ... Justin informs Sonny that his mom is on a plane and will be home tonight. Sonny laments he should not have left Will with the madman. Justin reminds him he was able to save and deliver a baby. The delivery part surprised him. It surprised Sonny too and when he held her, his heart was pounding. Then he saw Will in her face. They embrace. Sonny fights back the tears and tells himself Will is going to be alright! He has to be ... Later Nick is still sitting alone, waiting for news on Will. Sonny quietly prays. Meanwhile, Will lies on the cold operating table, hanging on by a thread ...
