Suspicious Part 2 Abigail thinks Cam need not quit his lucrative job, but he insists he will pay off his loans by working at a restaurant. All he cares about is how she feels! The now happy girl proceeds to make dessert with oodles of whipped cream and chocolate and gives her date "the perfect bite." Oh la la! Even the chef likes it. He suggests Cam hold onto his pretty, talented lady and she blushes. Cam agrees. He takes her home and they kiss passionately outside her door. She invites him in. He, however, has an early hospital shift. And so the once dancing doctor leaves with the sweet memory of their date after another stolen kiss. Abigail the fair maiden bids him goodnight. It almost seems too good to be true. Kate walks outside in the velvety night. Stefano mysteriously appears and muses she is alone. She freezes. Where is his girlfriend? On her way in from Singapore. And where is her man? She plays innocent. The phoenix chuckles she cannot keep secrets from him and saunters off into the night. Kate wonders. Rafe meets with colorful pregnant sister Gabi at the Kiriakis mansion and asks how she is doing. He informs her he saw Nick earlier. He reminds her she complained he did something to upset her. Gabi feels he has been wonderful regardless and would rather not discuss. He wonders where her elusive Mr. Wonderful has gone. She stammers he had errands and points out he is under pressure. Rafe suspects it will only get worse. He noticed him tense up when he mentioned Will. Gabi acknowledges things are not good between those two. Nevertheless, she remains optimistic that the birth of the baby will improve things. Rafe suggests perhaps Nick has not given her the whole story. Hostess Maggie now flounces in wearing her blue suit, with tea on a silver tray ... Sami plays it cool when Nick demands she tell him where it is. At least she tries. She babbles about her babysitter. Unshaven loose cannon Nick knows she was at the mansion and went up to his room. He threatens to confront Sonny, who helped lure him out of the house. He will not to leave until she gives back what she stole! Sami denies the charge and slowly reaches down to open the drawer, where her new gun is hidden. Nick tries to grab her handbag and leers to give it to him. Sami hangs onto her bag and screams to leave her alone. All of a sudden, EJ races in and shoves him aside. Nick dares him to call security. EJ growls he might just make him wish he had called security! As Vargas listens at the slightly ajar door, Nicole informs Brady there is something strange about Vargas, hence her worry. He will see what he can find out and departs. Vargas comes in and slams the door behind himself. Nicole gets jumpy. He walks toward her and confronts her for turning on him. She tries to step away but he roughly shoves her the phone and orders her to call Brady off. Otherwise, the priest learns all her dirty secrets! Brady and Eric enjoy coffee at the pub. Brady invites his brother to his wedding, as a guest. Eric points out there could be complications. He needs time to consider. Of course, he has not forgotten Kristen’s kindness toward Nicole. Brady realizes that is a maybe. He teases this is a better place for them to be than a month ago. Eric agrees and steps over to the kitchen to greet Caroline. Nervous Nicole now calls Brady and claims she changed her mind so there is no need to check on Vargas. She was just being a mother hen. Vargas gives her the evil eye as she convinces Brady all is well and ends the call. He warns her he will know who the rat was if anyone asks too many questions and imitates her moaning and gasping Eric’s name. Meanwhile Eric and Brady finish their coffee. Eric wonders whether that was Kristen on the phone. Brady explains it was Nicole, who is doing well at his church. He has had quite an effect on her. The priest comes close to blushing. Back at the rectory, Nicole warns Vargas that if he dares hurt Eric, she will bring him down! He seductively states they will be watching each other then and takes his leave. Nicole shudders. Gabi enters the room Nick trashed and cannot believe it! Meanwhile EJ has Nick by the collar. Nick begs Sami to give him his money. EJ gives him a shove. Sami is silent. Nick stumbles and scurries away. Sami thanks her hero and admits she was spooked. He knows she has the money! EJ insists he is just desperate and besides, the Nick situation is almost over. He has a meeting and offers to get someone from security. Sami assures him she is fine now, thanks him with a kiss, and promises to see him at home. He teases no more trouble, blows her a kiss, and is gone. The door is closed. Sami now removes the gun from her desk drawer. Nick comes home to the sight of Gabi packing. She announces ether he comes clean about what is going on or else she is moving out tonight! Rafe meets Kate at the clandestine restaurant she selected off the beaten path and wonders why the secret location. She sadly states their affair is officially over. It has to be this way. Suited Stefano saunters though the town square and glances around. A solemn man in a suit does the same. Sami spies the phoenix and waits for him to pass. She drops her empty coffee cup in the trash and keeps walking. Meanwhile EJ arrives at a swanky law office for his meeting and elegantly puts down his briefcase. He makes himself comfortable and declares that within the next few months, he intends to bring about the complete destruction of one Stefano DiMera, hence his request for assistance.
