Episode 12,076 - Diva Kate is buying a gun at the gun store and it feels delightfully deadly in her hands, her red painted nails contrasting with the black color of the sleek weapon. What a pretty little package! - Ponytail Abigail thanks Dan for helping Cam. She gushes to mama Jen she will let her know how it goes with her crush and flounces out. Dan holds pink sweater Jen in his arms and murmurs about his big plans for them. She teases him and tries to get more information. Dan drawls not to be giddy but he has arranged for her to meet her favorite chef, who will be cooking up a storm at a restaurant right here in Salem. She hugs him and calls him the best guy ever. The hungry blonde now thanks him with a kiss. Abigail now runs into Dr. Cam, who asks if she is free tonight. Maxine watches with approval as she gives him a good reaction and they kiss. Cam invites her for burgers at the pub and a walk along the waterfront. She would love it. He jokes he cannot afford a trip to Paris. Dan and Jen emerge hand in hand and Dan wants to consult with fellow doc Cam on a case. They get to it and Jen and Abigail happily hug. - Abe joins Father Eric at the pub and asks how things are with Vargas, his only man in the new outreach program. Eric soberly flashes back to Nicole kissing the felon and gets uncomfortable. He replies he has hopes for the program. Abe senses something. Eric stirs the sugar in his coffee and adds he had high hopes for Vargas but the transition can be tough and it is a process. He pensively sips his coffee. Abe feels his cooling toward Vargas must be connected to Nicole! He explains he noticed an intense moment between her with Vargas. Eric is not surprised. Liaison Abe now asks to drop by the rectory after he attends to some business with the station. Eric anxiously agrees. - At the rectory, Vargas talks tough with Nick on the phone and leers not to disappoint him. Nicole appears in the doorway and purposely makes her presence known. Vargman is less than pleased to see her back. She primly explains she is back on the job, having made amends with Eric. They will have to coexist and she wants to talk about his phone conversation! Meanwhile, EJ has just counted Samantha’s big money and wonders wot it is. He is aware it is 30 grand, but it is not hers. She gulps she stole it from Nick! On impulse. EJ wonders how Nick got it. She agrees that is an excellent question. EJ does not approve. She is sorry. He places it back in the envelope and becomes cross with her. Nick will panic when he discovers his money is missing! At that very moment, Nick is hard at work on his laptop, trying to decide where to put Vargas’ money to at least triple it, as ordered by the one man who still instills fear. He answers impatiently when Rafe calls, assuming it is Vargas again. Rafe wishes to meet him at the coffee house to talk about his sister. In fact, he insists on it. And so they do. Rafe is concerned and reminds Nick he is a cop so he can sense things. Nick insists he will protect Gabi. Rafe suspiciously asks from what and gives him a dark look. Nick tries to play it cool. Rafe notes she feels caught between him and Will and wants to know why he does not want Will to be with his own child. Nick accuses him of being protective toward Will, who is just a ... Rafe stares again and dares him to finish the sentence. Nick quips Will is not a good person, Rafe disagrees. Nick claims he tried to get Gabi to have an abortion. Rafe thinks he is avoiding the truth and tells him to get his act together and look after his sister, who should come first. Instead of putting Gabi first, he is busy trying to get Will out of the picture. Nick angrily retorts he is putting her first and storms out. Kate appears and notes that went well. Rafe smiles at her. He starts to tell her what Nick said but is interrupted by a summons from the station. They will have to catch up later. Rafe notices the pretty bag she is carrying. Kate purrs it is a special gift. Rafe kisses her and departs. Kate now takes out her phone, a glint in her eye. - Back at the rectory, Nicole accuses Vargas of conning Eric. She knows all about his fake little act with Eric, while the real him was the guy she heard on the phone, making demands, threatening to get what he wants. He plays innocent. She warns him she will tell Eric and he suddenly grabs her arm in a tight hold. Nicole is shocked. He rages to think about it first. She looks down at her arm and gasps is he threatening her?? - Back in his fiancee’s office, EJ is exasperated. Nick will now hold this over Samantha’s head! She offers to put it back. He points out that could make it worse, then suggests she exchange the money at the bank for a lifetime supply of one dolla bills she can use at that strip club! He is perceivably peeved that Rafe her ex was one of the dancers and wonders whether that was why she failed to mention her charity in his absence. Ponytail Sami uses the jealousy word and gets closer. She knows EJ and knows he knows that she only has eyes for him. He gazes into her baby blues. She touches his face and reminds him she is wearing his engagement ring. He muses she would certainly know if he were jealous. Sami now informs him that Rafe learned they were engaged that night. He is curious how he took it. She did not notice. He now teases her about all the dancing men and she teases she was busy texting her fiancé to hurry home that night. They passionately kiss. He stops and remembers the money. For the time being they should adopt a wait and see approach to the matter. It is possible Nick obtained it through legit means. They are now ready to get passionate, but Sami gets a call from Kate, who announces they must meet and it is personal ... Oh oh! Read Part 2 of Cause plus Spoilers ...! |
