Hope gets sarcastic. Diva Kate gets miffed. She advises her to find the one who did this. Hope is working on it. Exit Kate. Detective Hope sits down at her desk with a sigh. Her key suspects are EJ and Stefano. Those are the obvious ones. Rafe would say what are they not seeing? She does not see the prisoner release form which Ciara hid on the shelf nearby ... Brady accuses John of following and manipulating Kristen. John denies it. Brady arrogantly advises him to go through him in the future. John reminds him they are not on speaking terms. Brady leers his father is done with her. John drawls he is done with this conversation and saunters off. Kristen comes around the corner carrying with a new bouquet of flowers and is surprised to see Brady. He admits he spoke to John and it did not go well. She thinks that is another indication they should not get married tomorrow. Brady, however, would rather talk. She is the girl of his dreams and he is sorry for accusing her father and brother. The truth will come out sooner or later and that will speak for itself. He adds he is marrying her, not them. She repeats she is a DiMera. He remarks in name only and goes on to suggest she take his name, thereby becoming Kristen Black. He gets down on a knee, holds her hand, and earnestly asks her to make him the happiest guy in the world. She cannot help but smile. She will think it over and explains it has been a difficult day. She needs to think alone, and then they can talk. He kisses her and notes this will not change how deeply they love one another. He walks off and she muses their love is what messed things up in the first place! JJ promises to handle Dan’s special mp3 player with care and exits with a slight smirk. Jen appreciates Dan’s gesture. The doc feels maybe what happened at school was an isolated incident. Things will get better. Jen later updates Maggie on the progress and hopes JJ and Dan will be able to get along. Meanwhile JJ the jogger shows up at the hospital. He informs Dr. Dan that his mp3 player broke. He dropped it and then a truck ran it over. He is sorry. Dan sighs it is okay. JJ takes off. Dan does not appear to believe him as he stares at the broken pieces in his hands. Kate is getting off her phone at the coffee house when Lucas joins her and gets sarcastic about her busy schedule lately. Kate deduces Sami told her sanctimonious son about her recent affair. He is dismayed she was with Rafe, his ex-wife’s ex-husband and uncle to her great grandchild. In fact, he is disgusted. Kate gathers it is not easy. However, they ended their affair. She is tormented by the thought of what befell him, that it might have been her fault. Lucas believes it is EJ’s fault. He at least ordered it. Kate notes DiMeras do sometimes wait before striking. Lucas suspects it was a preemptive strike, as Sami always wants the man she cannot have. Kate points out it backfired cos what would be more romantic than nursing Rafe back to health! Lucas notes Sami is acting like she is terrified it was EJ’s doing. Kate actually feels sorry for her if EJ was the one. Then she would have to live with the nagging doubt that she is breaking bread with the man who tried to kill the man she loves. The man with the dark shoes and pants is carrying flowers. He arrives at the hospital. Gabi is on the phone. She has something to do and will be away for a while. She now walks away from Rafe’s room. The mysterious man with the flowers is waiting and watching, with bad intentions. Sami is in Hope’s office, accusing Hope of accusing EJ. Hope wants her to answer the question. What were she and EJ doing before he went to meet Rafe? Nothing. Sami stammers Johnny will take this hard as he was just saying how he liked living with Rafe. Hope gets suspicious. Sami insists EJ was not in the room at the time. Hope thinks she sounds like she is not convinced of her fiance’s innocence. She wants to know about the conversation in the DiMera living room that day. She wonders whether Sami and Stefano would both cover for EJ. Sami denies it. Gabi now arrives and exclaims she just remembered something significant! She declares the man who attacked Rafe was EJ. Sami disagrees. Hope urges the pregnant girl to continue. Gabi informs her that EJ was on the phone shortly after the time of the attack, asking if it was done, then saying good and smiling. Hope immediately calls the guard at the hospital, fearful that his hitman will be back to finish the job, The cop gets the call and steps away, then steps back. The man with the flowers is still watching. His name is Jensen and he is dangerous to the max! Brady comes across melancholy Marlena outside the pub and wonders what is the matter. Kristen settles on a bench to collect her thoughts. The flowers follow. Free agent John leans over and roguishly wonders whether it is true that she is not gonna marry his son ... END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives Nick and Gabi are in danger! Sami dares to ask EJ if he was involved in Rafe's attack. |
