He ventured to St Luke’s, in order to talk to Father Eric. He was rather accepting. Kristen is surprised as he fired her from the board. Brady points out he told him to do what he wanted and not listen to others. He enjoys his dessert and she takes a taste. This must be on their wedding reception menu! Only one thing is better! She gets on his lap and they kiss. Ding dong! Tis Daniel, who is there to thank Kristen for helping him get his life back. Kristen is amused she played matchmaker. Brady hopes Dan will do what he must with Chloe, even though she is his friend. Dan spies the flashy engagement ring and congratulates the happy couple. He exclaims the four of them must go out and celebrate! Brady and Kristen appreciate the support. Brady’s headache returns and Dan advises him to get it checked out. He took quite a beating from those thugs and a head injury is a serious matter. Kristen guiltily flashes back to paying off the mugger for hire. Back to reality. Dr. Dan urges her to make Brady make an appointment with a neurologist sooner rather than later. She gasps she will. Kate teases Sonny she did not mean to imply he is indiscreet but ... He admits he and Will do share everything though he himself is still trying to deal with the image of her and Rafe in Gabi’s room, of all places! Nearby, Rafe insists Will is family. Kate now approaches her grandson and demands to know who made him sign away his parental rights and how did they did it! Sonny gets tense. Chloe realizes she has heard from Daniel. She now gets a text from Nancy, who explains Parker misses her already. Chloe texts her back to tell her little boy she misses him too but this will be over soon! Meanwhile, at Horton house, unsuspecting Jen leaves a message for her daughter that she is home and life is so good. They will talk soon! She now admires the sapphire necklace from Dan and holds it close. Will does not think anyone can do anything to change what happened. Kate asks what Nick’s problem is. Will only says that he seems to be afraid that Sami will interfere again. Kate is exasperated. Rafe growls this is Sami’s doing! Lucas now drags Kate off to help him with his 5 million dollar business deal. She insists she and Will are not done. Rafe excuses himself. Will wonders what to say to his grandmother. "Anything but the truth!" quips Sonny. Will wonders what if he told. Why can’t he? Cos she would fire Nick, who would immediately go to the authorities. Meanwhile, Kate informs Lucas she knows there is no 5 million dollar deal. Lucas wishes she would back off as she was upsetting Will with the questions. Kate suspects Lucas is hiding what Will did, the thing Nick must have on him. Lucas admits if he told her, it would hurt Will even more! Kate watches Will and Sonny conferring at the other end of the room, her beautiful eyes filled with concern. She exits. Sonny soon gets off the phone with T, who wants a basketball game tomorrow. He thinks it will be a fun distraction, but Will is not in the mood. Sonny points out there are still good things in his life. Gabi promised she would allow Will to be part of the baby’s life. He is hopeful she will fight Nick on it. He now wonders where Will was earlier. Will flashes back to asking Sami to enlist Stefano’s assistance. He airily replies to Sonny he just had some stuff to handle ... As she walks outside alone, Kate calls Rafe, who is back at his office, and gives him an update. Sonny said nothing. However, it will get harder and harder to explain why they are together to others. She suggests they end the affair before it gets complicated. Rafe decides all he can do then is say goodbye. She whispers the same and ends the call. Brady toys with Stefano’s chess set and refuses to call the doctor, as Kristen keeps suggesting. She massages his tense shoulders. Brady glumly realizes he must still break the news of their engagement to Victor. He does not expect it to go well. She is sorry he has to choose. He grins he loves her, kisses her, and takes his leave. Kristen hears him start the car and drive off. The doorbell rings again and she opens it to none other than her mugger for hire. "SURPRISE!" And he knows they are all alone ... Jen opens her door to devil with the blue dress Chloe, who glares at the blonde in the pink sweater. She is raging ready to wipe that smile off her face ...!
