She is genuinely sorry she overreacted and confesses she does care for Brady, even though she realizes they can never live happily ever after. EJ points out he found his happiness with Samantha, partially thanks to her, and pleasantly offers to help. She flies at him for daring to think he can pulls her strings. He tenderly states he is merely offering his help. Kristen apologizes for becoming emotional and sighs in this very room she once lost her childish dreams of happiness in love. She would rather not continue this discussion. EJ realizes he should go. She embraces him and he departs. Brady rages he is not clueless and he overheard John and Marlena plotting against him and his beloved Kristen. He tosses aside the gondola plaque. John emotionally exclaims he loves him. Brady declares he is DONE with both of them! Marlena tries to change his mind, He accuses her of getting what she wants by turning his dad against him. They are not the only people in the world who know what love is. John begs him to listen. Brady is upset they assumed he cannot find true love and is done listening. He tells them to go to hell and storms off. Marlena stares in horror. John turns to her, his eyes mirroring his upset. Back at the hospital, Anne leers she does not answer to Cam. He orders her to apologize to Abigail. Anne walks off. Abigail stops him from going after her. She notes he seems tense. Is he alright? Matter of fact, he is not! She tries to get him to confide his woes. He exclaims he is upset because he has to work with someone like Anne who implies he does not deserve his job. He does not want anyone to wonder! Abigail asks if that is why he is taking so many shifts. Cam claims he has big shoes to fill, being the brother of the renowned Dr. Lexie. Abigail now returns the pen Lexie once gave him, which she accidentally walked off with. He thanks her and must get back to work. Abigail agrees to see him soon. She wonders what he is hiding. At Horton house, Maggie gets off the phone with her man Charlie, who is to open up Smith Island for the Horton cabin tomorrow. The cleaning lady let her in. Jen comes home and the redhead is concerned. Jen cries she feels worse than she looks but she cannot talk about it. Maggie urges her to call Daniel and talk. She cries they already tried. It is worse than ever! Maggie suggests her son might surprise her. She wants her to be happy. She hugs her, reminds her to call if she needs anything, and departs in her elegant pantsuit. Jen thanks her and clutches her phone. She now calls Charlie and offers to open up the cabin herself. She could use the time to do some relationship reflection ... At the apartment, Dan bids goodbye to his son. He sighs he will miss Parker and hands Chloe his itinerary. Nancy flounces in and wishes him a good trip. He asks them to take good care of his little man. He reminds the playing lad he loves him and exits. Nancy jumps for joy and updates Chloe on the argument she spied Jen and Dan having. It did not end well either! Team Chloe is winning! Meanwhile Dan goes to his hotel room to pack. He finds some cute photographs from a photo booth that were taken of him and Jen together. Happy times. He suddenly decides he must make things right between them. Marlena follows upset John through the town square. He raises his hands in the air and warns her to leave him be. She has ruined everything! Marlena is convinced Brady will come around but John is too upset to see clearly. He gasps to stay out of his son’s life and also his! Brady finds Kristen in the DiMera mansion foyer and sweetly states he is glad she is here, for he has an idea. She can fix everything. Kristen blinks. But how? He gets down on his knee and promptly proposes marriage right by the DiMera door. He loves her more than anything in the world ... Kristen stares at her Romeo. END.
