Nancy pretends to be upset Chloe kissed him. She tried to tell her to move on. Dan pulls on a shirt and wishes she had told him Jen was not her biggest fan. Nancy did not realize she still harbored a grudge and hopes it did not cause problems. “Lady, you have no idea,” sighs Dan. Nancy pretends to be having a coughing attack and requests a glass of water. Dan goes to get one. She proceeds to search for the bottle of pills. Dan returns, only to find her on her knees with the bottle. “What the hell are you doing!” She gasps her medicine bottle fell out of her purse and hastily departs. Dan does not suspect a thing and wonders what to do to win back the fair Jen. Meanwhile, at the house, Jen is not in the mood to talk. She explains she needs some time alone. A bath and sleep will help. Hope realizes she wants her to leave and bids her goodnight. Jen starts to climb the stairs when Chloe shows up. She declares she wants to tell the truth about what happened tonight! She blurts out she and Dan did not sleep together! Jen shuts the door behind her and defiantly dares her to explain what she saw earlier tonight. Chloe innocently claims she was first there to give Daniel his hospital badge. Dan was drunk and mad. She later returned to get her cell phone, which she had forgotten. It was all very innocent. Jen snaps Chloe is no innocent and demands to know the real truth! Chloe insists nothing happened. Jen wonders why she would not want her to think otherwise. Chloe claims to want to do the right thing. Jen laughs she is lying and orders her out. Chloe smirks at the door. Oh well, she tried … Inside, Jen asks gran’s picture what she thinks … What Chloe said made sense, but she is still playing some mysterious mind game and that is what troubles her. Sonny gets Rafe a coffee at the coffee house. Rafe thanks him, sits down, and asks after Will. He seems alright. Rafe assumes things are working out with the baby and hopes Gabi will slow down. He informs Sonny that his sister and Nick are getting married tomorrow and is does seem rather rushed. Sonny takes it all in. Meanwhile, Gabi is explaining to Will that she is as anxious to marry Nick as he is to marry her. Will starts to say there is something that she needs to know but his moment of truth is interrupted when Hope flounces in and refers to the big day at the house tomorrow. The Hortons are happy about it. Gabi wonders what Will had on his mind. Will flashes back to Sonny warning him this is not just about him, and decides he had nothing important to share. He wishes Gabi and Nick happiness, forces a faint smile, and departs. Gabi is suspicious. Nevertheless, she happily joins Hope to discuss tomorrow. Hope has an idea. Gabi is thrilled when she is invited to also have the ceremony at Horton house. Hope assures her there will only be a few people present, as per Nick’s wishes. It will mean much to the Hortons that he is tying the knot at gran’s house. Gabi gushes everything will be perfect. John is on the town square sofa, an icepack on his sore knee. No pain no gain! Brady joins him and thanks him for the plaque. It meant a great deal. John suavely suggests they get together sometimes and hang out. Brady would love that but there is a condition! John gets he wants him to accept Kristen in his life and would like the chance to try. Brady is surprised. John suggests they discuss it further over breakfast in the morning. Brady happily agrees to meet up tomorrow. Stefano saunters back into the living room and sarcastically wonders where Billy Joel went. Work emergency. He pours himself a drink and asks how Kristen knew he was there. She saw him in the mirror. He wants to know what comes next. She will get Brady to propose. The phoenix is already aware she plans to dump him. She purrs the best part concerns what she has in store for John and Marlena ... Will returns to Sonny at the coffee house and sighs he was right. This is about many people. Sonny realizes he did not tell Gabi. Rafe told him she is marrying Nick tomorrow. Will laments it seems there is nothing he can do about Nick raising his kid. Sonny considers. Dan stares at Jen’s picture on his iphone from his lonely bed, bathed in blue shadows. Meanwhile Chloe is back at the apartment, explaining to Anne that she told the truth so she could at least put a spin on it. Hopefully it worked! Meanwhile, Jen stares out her window and then impulsively calls Dan. As luck would have it, he is still experiencing the effects of the sleeping pills and booze and has drifted off into a deep slumber. Stefano stands up with a chuckle and praises Kristen for such a brilliant plan. John and Marlena would be miserable for the rest of their lives! She notes they deserve it. Father phoenix kisses her on the head and declares she is a true DiMera. He fails to notice her sudden lack of enthusiasm ...END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Threats are made.
