Episode 12,042 - Jen has opened Dan’s door to Chloe, who turns and looks at shirtless sleeping Dan. Chloe explains it is not what it seems. Jen exclaims she makes her sick and takes off. Dan mutters Jen’s name in his sleep. Chloe closes the door, then glances at the almost empty glass of hangover potion. She suddenly panics she used to much drug with the booze. What if her man cannot wake up?! She steps out in the hall and tries to call him, hoping he will wake up. Inside, the shirtless man stirs and picks up. She is relieved he is awake and pretends she was worried due to how they left things. Dan agrees it was not good. She is sorry for the kiss as she did not mean anything by it. She got the message but he does not think what he said was right. They can talk now. He offers to come to her place and promises not to drive. He sure could use the fresh air and cannot even remember going to bed. He will catch a cab and see her shortly. Chloe wonders to herself whether he might be coming around and happily goes home to await him. - Kristen, wearing the same blue dress, is back at the mansion and teases she hopes Brady made nice with Stefano. He will only say they understand each other and then pries about her mysterious errand. She flashes back to John and muses she had to deliver an important message. Stefano enters with a book and then turns around and starts to leave. Kristen insists he stay and chat about the garden. They all sit together but Brady thinks it will not work. Stefano agrees. Kristen sweetly takes them both by the hand and thanks them for trying. Each man sighs they are trying only for her. She gushes in time they will see each other in a new light. Amused EJ snaps a picture of the handholding group and chuckles it will have to be his new screensaver! He drawls he did not want to interrupt their bonding moment but Kristen excuses herself with Brady, so as to give father and son their privacy. Stefano stares. “My son!” EJ muses he looks well. He never thought he would set foot in this house again. Stefano seconds the notion and insists their bond was stronger than what went wrong. EJ is dismayed he stopped believing in him all for a coin. Stefano had hoped they were past this. EJ flashes a grin. He is admittedly pleased they are working together and Kristen brought them together. It is a start. The phoenix asks him to take another step and come home to live here, along with his family! EJ charmingly refuses. Stefano pushes him to think it over. EJ points out he will not ask Samantha to live her either. Stefano wonders whether they are living together. EJ clarifies. They are togetha and happy for now, with no interference. Stefano offers to help them along. EJ explains there is no need, for their relationship is based on trust, honesty. Scheming and manipulations are not an option. Stefano’s face falls. EJ glances at his watch and adds he must go. Stefano murmurs it was good to see him. EJ elegantly exits. The phoenix sighs and tells himself it could have gone worse. Pause. His eyes flashing with rage, he growls he shall not allow Samantha to come between him and his son …! Upstairs, Kristen and Brady end their latest lovemaking session. He thinks they should do it in every room of the mansion. She is all for it. He teases she is a danger junky. He loves her too and she gushes he proved it. Brady gets a faraway look in his eye and admits he went to hell for her. He cuddles her and she urges him not to talk like that. He now presents her with the housewarming present in a purple box. Tis an engraved key ring. “Forever begins today, love Brady.” She is touched and they kiss. Kristen mentions always losing keys and he mentions only needing to know the way home. He now asks where Stefano’s errand sent her but she would rather not discuss her father and so they proceed to kiss passionately again ... - In the dark evidence room, Lucas is pushing Sami higher. She is determined to get that box herself and gasps she almost has it, but the more realistic Lucas thinks it will be too heavy. They hear a noise and she gasps someone is coming. They hastily hide behind the boxes, in separate places. Rafe turns on the light and looks around. First he catches Lucas and demands to know what the hell he is doing. Lucas stands up and innocently explains he was looking for Hope’s office. Rafe muses it never was Hope’s office in here. Lucas tries to go but Rafe asks how he gained access. The door was open. Rafe has his doubts. Sami nervously listens from behind her own box. Lucas stammers he took a wrong turn and decided to stay and think in the dark a while. Rafe remarks it is a locked police evidence room. Time to make sense or else he must explain himself to Roman! He now calls out for his partner in crime. “Sami Brady get the hell out here now!” Silence. This is no game! He eventually flushes her out and reminds her he bought her that perfume, which he recognized. Sami concedes defeat and starts to usher Lucas out. Rafe warns her she cannot get away so easily but praises her brassy daring, He folds his arms the way law enforcement professionals do and orders at least one of them to start talking. Lucas explains they cannot. Why not? Ponytail Sami agrees with Lucas. They simply cannot. Rafe threatens to take them to Roman. They will not talk to him either and dare him to arrest them both. They hold out their wrists without hesitation. Rafe does the math and concludes this must be about Will. - Jen returns home in tears and sniffles it was unbelievable! She flashes back to her and Dan making out on the couch and cannot believe how easily he then fell into bed with Chloe! Meanwhile Chloe goes home to Nancy and decides to tie up a loose end. She calls Jen and offers to explain. Jen rages at the witch not to call her again and hangs up in a huff. She is an emotional wreck. Aunt Maggie shows up at Horton house in her fur coat. She bears recipes for Abigail, who is now either asleep or not around. Jen will give them to her later. The redhead perceives something is bothering her. The wedding will be at the house tomorrow. Jen gets wistful. Maggie urges her to open up. Jen complains it is terribly unfair that she and Daniel are over! She realizes she should not speak ill of her son. Maggie deduces he messed up. Jen moans he crossed a line. The redhead suspects Chloe was involved and suggests it may have been a misunderstanding. Jen replies it matters not. Maggie asks what Daniel said. Jen complains he was not even awake to say anything! Maggie advises her to give him the chance to explain. Tonight. She should go over and face Chloe too, then wake up Daniel and demand answers. She might be surprised ... - At the apartment, Nancy muses the gods must be smiling on Chloe. She feels she deserves better than the hand she was dealt. Chloe thanks her for the support and they hug. Knock knock! Fancy Nancy says to go get her man and disappears into the other room. Chloe sweetly opens her door to groggy Dan, who would like to go somewhere with fresh air and privacy. She gets her leather coat and stylish handbag and they are off ... - Brady sleeps in the grand bed as Kristen stares at the key ring. She now slips out of bed and dons her robe, leaving the room ... - Sami now has an answer for Rafe ... Read Part 2 of OH OH plus Spoilers ...! |
