THIS EPISODE WAS TWEETED ONE HOUR AHEAD BY DAYSCAFE :) CAUGHT IN THE ACT Episode 12,041 - At the DiMera mansion, Brady admires the plaque his dad gave him to remember his mom. Perhaps they can mend their fences. Kristen muses that would be reeeeally something. Brady announces he has a housewarming gift for his beloved and goes to fetch it. Kristen scowls John’s nice try is not gonna work! She stands up and smiles at the man in the dark European suit. “Father?” Stefano’s eyes shine more brightly than his silk purple tie upon seeing his last living daughter. He holds out his arms and grins shall she not welcome him home! She does in Italian and they embrace. She boasts the servants have been preparing the house for him. He notices they got rid of the bullet holes. He teases her about her boy toy. She explains lover Brady will be down shortly. The phoenix thinks it is too quiet in the casa. She offers to call EJ and Chad. Maybe they can come for dinner. And Mary wants to keep his diet healthy. Stefano gets annoyed. She informs him John Black came by. That amuses him. She adds he is back on his game and he is too damn good! She updates him on the stupid plaque from the canoe, how he won this round. But she is up for the next one and excuses herself to go after John. She teases father to get reacquainted with Brady, hopes he will not scare him. The devil with the blue dress exits. Stefano sighs mama mia and wonders about the fallen chess pieces. Brady enters with the gift in hand. Stefano chuckles and tells him he shouldn’t have! Brady solemnly asks where Kristen went. On some errand. Brady knows this is awkward and insists he wants to make her happy. However, he does not trust the phoenix and lets him know. He turns to leave but the powerful patriarch stops him. He too has something to say! - “John” smiles Marlena. She had no idea he was coming home … Jealous John frowns at Roman, whom she just hugged, and grumbles he can see she was not expecting him! Marlena is surprised by his possessive behavior. Roman explains she needed consoling. John growls he is her ex-husband. He wants a word with his wife! Roman sarcastically states it was nice seeing him too and walks off. Marlena is thrilled to see John, especially cos he referred to her as his wife! He suavely sits down and drawls it is a fact she is his wife. But nothing has changed, as far as he is concerned. He had heard Brady moved into the DiMera mansion, hence his return. Marlena thinks they should make getting Brady out of there their priority. John insists it is his priority and he will deal with it on his own. Marlena wonders how he will deal with the issue of them. “One thing at a time,” he mutters and elusively excuses himself. The blonde blinks. - Rafe runs into Lucas at the town square and informs him Nick and Gabi tie the knot tomorrow. Lucas frowns. Rafe suspects Sami will freak out. He asks Lucas to keep her calm and away from the kids, then goes on his merry way. Sami now shows herself to Lucas, who notes Rafe has no idea that Nick has blackmailed their son out of his baby’s life! Sami thinks Gabi might figure it out. However, she has a plan ... Lucas gets a bad feeling. Sami whispers they can make sure the evidence gets lost. EJ is already working on the damning recording. Lucas is even more doubtful now! Sami insists they must get to the evidence at the police station - tonight! Lucas sighs. This is classic Sami. He gets sarcastic about her busting in and taking a hostage. She points out the evidence would be in storage and they can get in with a key card. Lucas reminds her Will already signed away his rights. Sami, having been briefed by attorney EJ, argues it would not stand up if there was no evidence. Lucas is fearful of jail time but determined to save his son. He is IN! The dynamic duo are on their way ... - At Dan’s place, Chloe has just planted her lips on his. She suggests he not fight the feeling and drunken Dan appears to kiss her back for a moment. Then he comes to his senses. “What are you doing?” he gasps. She innocently replies he seemed to need a friend. He insists he does not need this! He is with Jennifer. At least he is trying to be! He commands Chloe to go. She blinks her pretty blue eyes with hurt, then offers to stay until he falls asleep. He gasps he wants her to go, sees her to the door, and closes it. Chloe departs fighting back the tears. Dan now proceeds to drink some of her remedy. He tries to call Jen, but gets her voice mail. He starts to slur about tonight, laments he is sorry, says never mind, and ends the incoherent message. - Hope arrives at the pub and wonders if she missed a great party. She is planning for the Horton house wedding already. Jen would like to hear all about it but Hope perceives her upset and wants to know what happened here. Anne lurks at a table nearby. Jen complains about Dan suggesting nanny Nancy as the answer to their prayers. Hope thinks it is not an unreasonable idea. Jen exclaims it is that Nancy! Maxine appears and sternly reminds Jen to go make things right with Dan. Jen agrees, then listens to his pathetic, drunken message. Hope whispers he sounds like a mess. Jen agrees. She is on her way! Hope wishes her luck. She thanks Maxine for her advice. - Chloe goes home to fancy Nancy and informs her she was right. She blew it with Dan. Nancy assures her he will forget about it in the morning. Chloe just wishes he would forget about Jennifer! - It is dark in Hope’s office and Sami and Lucas are after the key card. Lucas is positioned outside her door. Sami rummages through the desk drawers to find what she needs. Roman runs into Lucas, who pretends to be looking for Hope. Lucas pretends he would like to leave the detective a note. Roman agrees, and advises him not to touch anything. Sami is hiding behind a cabinet. When Roman leaves to return to the interrogation room, Sami emerges. She knows where Roman’s key card would be and so they will find his. Lucas cannot believe she wants to break into another office! Sami is true to her word and they are soon in the evidence storage room, looking for the right file box. Sami whips out her flashlight and they get to work, though her plans never run smoothly and this one is no excepetion ... Read Part 2 of Caught in the Act plus Spoilers ...! |
