Big shots and Little shots Part 2 - As distracted Dan puts away his stethoscope, Eric smiles and offers to listen to what is ailing the medicine man. He complains about Jen’s decision. Eric notes Nicole thought they had what it takes to make it. They are the real deal. Dan the man of science would rather face facts. The priest talks belief in one another. He remains optimistic as he feels Dan and Jen belong together. - Sami asks Jeannie/Theresa asks how long she is in town. She gushes she is back at her roots and working for Jennifer now. Sami calls Jen the best boss ever. Theresa insincerely agrees. Sami wants to hear all about the family. Theresa smoothly states she has forms to fill out at HR and slinks away. Sami muses to Jen she almost reminds her of herself at that age! Jen stares. Sami adds she is a lot older than Will but Jen is no mood to gossip and wonders about the real reason for her visit. Sami remembers and asks for patient information on Eric. She needs to know what is going on with her mysteriously ailing twin, who has seen Dr. Dan. Jen solemnly states that info is confidential. Dan would never discuss a patient with her and if he did, she could not share. Sami will not let up. She wants a personal favor. Did Dan not mention anything ... Jen explains she had no idea he was even treating Eric and advises her to ask Eric herself. She has work to do. Sami is sorry and clicks away in her high heels. - At the house, obsessed JJ gets on the computer to google Theresa Donovan, aka Jeannie. He finds her picture and chuckles. He then sends her a message so she shows up on his doorstep to watch movies He invites her in but she refuses as his mom issued her a warning. Besides, they are expecting her in HR. She flirts she is a bad influence and gives the teen the eye. He wonders what she wants. She teases he already knows! - Kristen asks EJ if he is really prepared for the WAR that Stefano’s wrath will unleash. Yes but his question is whose side will she be on! Kristen pouts and considers. She loves them both ... EJ is no fool. He realizes she will support whoever wins. She is sorry. He airily states he had expected it, says no need to be sorry, and kisses her. He now gets a call from Sami, who complains about Dan kicking her out of Rafe’s room, then gets to him not sharing details with her about her brother’s mysterious condition. When Kristen hears that Eric is being tested, she takes it all in like a cat. EJ asks Sami if she is on her way home. Does he need her? Always! Sami smiles then she will see him soon. And so ends the call. Kristen advises her brother to enjoy the spoils of victory, at least while it lasts! She kisses him, says ciao, and walks into the foyer, where she makes an irate call to her potion doctor. She orders him to meet her at the town square and she is not amused. - Jen races into her office, where she answers a call from HR Anne. She assures her she assumed Theresa had already gone to HR, but evidently she was a no show! Jen snaps she will take care of it and hangs up. Meanwhile, Theresa gets a few joints on the house from JJ. She flirts and goes on her way. He watches, then gets back inside to answer the ringing phone. Tis mama Jen and he pretends to be busy with his English literature notes. Jen is relieved he is alone. - Kristen meets her potion doctor at the park and rages a specialist is being called in to pinpoint what poisoned the priest. He assures her it will not be traced but she has her doubts and calls him an idiot! - Eric clutches his rosary at his desk and tries to make the sign of the cross, only to discover his hands are shaking. He prays to God to help him and thanks Him. He also thanks Him for helping Dr. Jonas find the answers. Meanwhile, Dr. Dan is examining at the test results at his apartment, thinking. A frowns creases his brow when he checks a number. What the hell! - Sami is at the nurse’s station in her pink dress, mumbling about Jonas being wrong to kick her out. Rafe might have been trying to tell her something! She suddenly realizes no one is in his room now and decides to drop by. - Stefano reappears. EJ taunts he can have Harold take his things. The phoenix folds his arms, raises an eyebrow, and stares darkly. One day, he predicts, EJ shall be reduced to crawling on his hands and knees, begging him to take back what he has stolen. EJ smirks. Exit the phoenix. EJ’s smirk fades once he is alone. He stands at the window, his mouth tight, his glances furtive, as he grasps the magnitude of what he has done. There is no turning back ...
