| Monday, July 8, 2013 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THIS TV EPISODE WAS TWEETED ONE HOUR AHEAD BY DAYSCAFE :) HE'S BAAAAAACK! Episode 12,121 - Rafe remains in a coma. In coma world he is dreaming that he runs into Sami outside the coffee house, carrying his cup of coffee. It feels real to him for he has long been trapped in coma world, where memories mix with dreams. Dream Sami wants to stop and talk. She is glad he looks so wonderful and is well. She is sorry they had differences. Rafe starts to walk away when dream Sami suddenly pulls a gun. She cries she cannot lose him again and fires! Meanwhile patient Rafe’s monitor goes berserk. Enter Gabi, Kate, and Dr. Kayla. Gabi gasps what is happening! Is he finally coming out of his coma? - Jen and Dan run into each other at the coffee house. She asks about Salem patient Rafe. Dan explains they have started to bring him out of the coma. She breathes he is in good hands with him, then asks Dan about his July 4. Dan refuses to get into this with her! Jen is sorry, then laments he is right, they cannot. He is sorry too as he finds it hard to act like nothing is the matter with idle chitchat. She wonders about Parker. He took him to visit Chloe, and it was good. Jen stares and anxiously asks if Chloe will be returning to Salem anytime soon. - Rory and JJ are disagreeing down by the lake when the mystery woman emerges from the water. JJ admires her wet silhouette. Rory warns she is outta his league. JJ alludes to having a chance, man about town that he is. Rory thinks he will crash and burn and goes on his stoned way. Theresa has put on a sheer blouse and treats cocky JJ like a schoolboy when he approaches. She reminds him he had said he would help her. He insists he will. He finally learns her name is Theresa but then alas she disappears again. - At DiMera mansion, Sami is loving the morning with her flowers from EJ and pink dress and all the good things going her way, including the success of the stolen cream. EJ gets his beloved coffee and she adds she is soon marrying the man of her dreams They kiss. EJ enthusiastically agrees that life is good. However, his demeanor changes when Justin calls with the bad news that they have a BIG problem! Meanwhile Stefano the big problem is on his way home, wining and dining his lady love on his plane. Back at the mansion, EJ resumes a poker face. Sami informs him that her father texted her. Rafe comes out of the coma today! - Salem patient Rafe has not yet woken up. Kayla explains he must have had a dream. She assures anxious Kate and Gabi that he will soon wake up, though his memories could be tenuous. Kate is counting on her lover’s return. Rafe now dreams of Kate in blue with him in their blue bed, whispering she is scared and no one can find out about them ... Then Stefano the executioner appears in black and attacks him with a bat. But that is in coma world. In the real world the phoenix is toasting to his homecoming. Back in Rafe’s hospital room, Abe joins the concerned group. Kayla explains for a while Rafe might be confused between his coma life and real life. It will last as long as a few weeks but having loved ones around him will help tremendously. - EJ casually wonders whether Samantha wishes to visit Rafe. He realizes she still cares for him on some level and has no issues should she wish to see him. Sami marvels and giggles how understanding he is, kisses him again, and flounces off with her freshly cut flowers. She has no idea EJ actually wanted her gone, as he has an important call to make. He now calls Justin, who warns that Shin is hesitating again and the board meeting of the London subsidiary has been pushed back. EJ rages it must happen today and orders him to the mansion at once. Justin advises him not to panic. EJ hangs up and rages at fatha’s portrait not to gloat prematurely for he has something else up his sleeve! He places an irate call to Shin and points out fatha is not the man he used to be. He will call back in a half hour in case he has reconsidered his position. He threatens he will pay if he breaks his promise. Justin has entered and takes a deep breath. That sounded ominously like his father! A certain Mr. Benedict now calls from the London subsidiary. EJ takes the phone and charmingly makes fellow Brit Reginald a lucrative offer. - Dan assures Jen that Chloe is not coming back and even if she did, she would not bother her. Jen is not worried, though she continues to care about him and Parker. Dan breathes he longs to share every aspect of his life with her. He is curious about her new assistant and how things are with JJ, who is breaking her heart. He adds she cannot have it both ways. She was the one who expressed her desire to take a break so he would not complicate her relationship with JJ. It troubles him that it will only succeed in making things worse for her son! Jen repeats she must focus on JJ. Dan gets she is fearful they will push him over the edge, but the manipulative man-child is counting on her guilt. He is in essence terrorizing her and should not be allowed to get away with it. Jen cries she is aware that he is manipulating her. However, her son is a lost soul and she must fight her way into his life however possible. Dan admires how she fights for her kids. But this is hard for the medicine man. He gets choked up as he goes on to say they must keep their distance and walks off, hanging his head. Jen flashes back to her request that they stop seeing each other, his dismay that she believed their breakup would fix her son. Jen now gets a call. Yes, she is JJ’s mother, She blinks. "He what?" She now calls her absentee son and orders him to her office pronto! - Abe visits with Kayla in her office. He sits and asks if she has any idea when exactly Rafe will regain consciousness. They hope within the hour. Abe notes she alluded to possible memory loss earlier. Kayla would love to anticipate a full recovery, but the truth is that Rafe could have lost an entire year from his memory That would mean he does not remember his affair with Kate, and will still believe he and Sami are married! Abe now returns to the Salem patient’s room and assures Gabi everyone is hoping for Rafe’s recovery. Gabi ponders what Bernardi's motive might have been. Abe is hoping that when Rafe wakes up, he will be able to shed light on everything. He now asks about Arianna. She happily shows him her latest picture. She has a new one every day, so when he wakes up, Rafe will not feel he has missed a single moment. Sami, meanwhile, has arrived outside the room. She pauses to taunt Kate about her new product and starts for Rafe’s room. Kate grabs her and hisses the hell she is going in there! But Sami does go in and things do go to hell ...
