JJ now arrives and Kayla hugs him, then goes on her way. Jen frowns. She closes the door and snaps at her son to listen good! - EJ gushes to Reggie this will work out splendidly, then gets off the phone and calls him a twit. He does not necessarily intend to uphold his part of the offer to give him a piece of the lucrative DiMera pie! He and Justin now wait for Shin in Hong Kong. Justin hands him a paper with something that might help them win Shin. EJ is starting to sweat. If this does not work, fatha will know about both of their involvement! Justin gathered as much. Meanwhile Stefano is on the phone on his private plane. He already knows Justin is involved! And he wants his man to keep Elvis in the dark for a wee while longer. He chuckles wickedly. - Kate tries to reason that Rafe will be stressed to see Sami, who was last seen firing a shot over him. And she left Rafe for EJ, which broke his noble heart. Sami argues he is still her ex, and was like a father to her children. Kate is exasperated. This is about Rafe, not her! She sarcastically states she knows she wants to barge in the room and become the center of attention. Sam smirks and goes to the room to do just that. Kate stops Dr. Dan for a word. He now confirms that Rafe will be like a baby needing to relearn his motor skills, but only after they confirm he is mentally adjusted to come back to the world. Kate is concerned, as he is not the kind of man who likes to admit he needs help. Dan muses Rafe is a lucky guy to have so many stubborn women to help him. She purrs that was a nice thing to say. Here comes the nurse. The patient is starting to stir! Sami has entered the room, where Gabi is holding vigil. Sami stops and stares, then wonders if she should even be here. Gabi believes so and thankfully credits her with saving his life. Abe waits and watches with them. Rafe’s head moves from side to side on his pillow. Dr. Dan drawls it appears to be going smoothly. Kate has returned as well. Gabi gasps and smiles when he opens his eyes. He blinks and looks from Gabi to Abe to Sami. His eyes widen with horror when they focus on Sami.The monitor starts beeping out of control! - Jen accuses her misguided son of screwing up and refuses to let him interrupt. No punishment seems to have worked and now that he missed study hall, she is confiscating his lunch money. From now on he must make his own lunch! She wants him on the straight and narrow too so no more parties, hanging out, and he cannot bring anyone home, especially not older hussies. The fun is over! He sulks she has it in for him. She tells him to enjoy his detention and he storms out. Once alone, Jen sadly asks the late Jack what has become of their son! - EJ is back on the phone with Mr. Shin and charmingly offers to help get his son into the Ivy league school he wanted the boy to attend. Just say the word and he calls the dean. Done! Justin is impressed. EJ ends the call and smugly states it is poetic justice Stefano’s fate was sealed by a man who really wanted to help his son, unlike him! He is brimming with confidence about the vote that will be happening in the next five minutes. With any luck the axe shall fall on fatha’s head, not theirs. Meanwhile Stefano the incorrigible flirt is holding his lady love’s hand in the air. They descend within minutes. He chuckles he imagines his son will not be too happy to see him! - JJ returns to Jen’s office for his backpack, assuming she will yell at him. Seated in her chair is none other than Theresa, who giggles as her admirer wonders what is she doing there. She gives him a flirty look. Enter Jen. She snaps at JJ, who explains he had no idea she was here. Theresa gushes she is her new assistant, a glint in her eye. - Back at the mansion, they are down to the last minutes. Justin answers his ringing phone. "Kiriakis." EJ answers his own phone. "WOT!" Pause. EJ explodes with laughter. Justin congratulates him for gaining control of DiMera Enterprises. It’s official. Stefano is out EJ is in! Justin now informs him that the deed to the mansion is in fact owned by one of the corporations of DiMera Enterprises, which means EJ now owns that too. Exit legal eagle Justin. EJ savors his victory and taunts fatha’s portrait that there are going to be some changes around here. Matter of fact, HE will be the first to go! - Kate perceives Rafe is reacting to Sami. Sami protests. Abe wants her to leave and exits with her. Sami argues Rafe would never react to her with such terror. Inside the room, Dr Dan confirms the patient’s vital signs are good and asks the gang to go easy as he does not need more stimulation. He goes out and permits Abe go back in but not Sami, who is determined to see Rafe. Dr. Dan points out seeing her spiked his blood pressure and heart rate. Therefore, she is not permitted to go near him. Sami says she will give him a few minutes. Dan, however, refuses to let her near the patient until he has decided she presents no medical or psychological risk. - EJ is lighting a cigar when Stefano and his woman return to the mansion. EJ stands up and requests a word alone. Stefano teases she can powder her nose and claps his hands when she has exited. He breathes in the air and declares it feels good to be home. EJ quips not to get too comfortable for this is not his home and when his little friend returns, he wants him out of his house! Stefano laughs at the joke. EJ glares daggers. This is the moment he has been waiting for ...! Ahead on Days of Our Lives EJ incurs the wrath of Stefano. Eric has another episode! |
