The former boss lady informs him the lab was pleased by the patent potential of his fabulous formula and had legal draw up papers for him to sign. He too will profit. She sweetly suggests he come to her if he has any more brainstorms, even though she did enjoy firing him. Nick wonders why she is not at the hospital with Rafe. She sighs he is not yet clear on things and even thinks Sami shot him. Nick muses there was a time Sami almost shot him. He sort of threatened her, then she pulled out a gun, but he is pretty certain she would not have used it! The genius says see ya and walks off. Kate stares and wonders. Gabi removes her wedding ring and sits at Rafe’s bedside. He starts to wake up and wonders how long it has been. A while, but he is safe now. He suddenly notices she is no longer pregnant. She gushes she had the baby and shows him the bedside picture of his little niece. Rafe starts to cry. Gabi adds she has so much to say and hopes she will not tire him out. Rafe gasps the baby is beautiful. Gabi cries she is called Arianna Grace Horton and she will love him as much as she does. The big guy is choked up and his sister kisses him. Kristen laments she will never have another chance with Brady. She accepts she will never experience real love like that again. He was sooo wonderful and perfect, she should have known better than to believe it would last. He was her one chance, all she ever wanted. But she destroyed it. She was too blinded by hatred and when she changed, it was just too late. Jen is sorry. Brady watches and listens from the trees. Kristen blinks and reminds Jen her Dan is worth it too. They decide to go for a walk. Brady whispers to himself not to get drawn in and decides he needs cold water. He removes his shorts and prepares to take a dip in the lake. But Kristen has left her bracelet behind. Dan explains to Eric that no toxins were found, but the antibodies in his body indicate there was something his body was fighting. His well thought out theory is that he was poisoned and the master poisoner used a masking agent. If his theory proves correct, then he was purposely poisoned! Eric is rendered speechless. Jen and Kristen arrive at the town square and go on their merry ways. Kristen suddenly realizes her special bracelet from Brady is gone and retraces her steps. Meanwhile lonely Nicole leaves a message for Brady, hoping they can be friends with benefits and help each other get through this long hot night. Brady gets out of the water and spies the bracelet he gave Kristen. He picks it up as water drips from his naked torso. Kristen silently appears. Their eyes lock with longing. The tension in the air is hot and thick ... END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives Brady seeks answers from John. Will confides in Marlena. |
