Episode 12,125 - Eric does his best to dismiss Kristen, explaining that things are holy hectic in his world today. She remembers their hot video and warns she just might have to add to the drama. He hopes this is not about Brady. No but it will shock a lot of people! She is standing under a picture of Jesus but alas lightning does not strike the sinner. Not yet. She informs him that EJ and Stefano are at war! The home upheaval has led her here. Eric is unable to connect the dots so she offers to do it for him. He becomes rather impatient and she claims she hates to impose and feels embarrassed. She has not been a good catholic but is in need of spiritual nourishment, since she is alone again. Now there are problems the family is preoccupied with. No one has time or energy for her. Eric understands. She muses love seems to be a farce and admits to wanting to strangle someone. Like Marlena! One’s dreams get crushed, and then one ends up alone and disconnected. She grins and hopes he gets her drift. The priest is perplexed. She muses one day soon he will understand what she is alluding to and plops down her purse, which contains the tablet with the damning footage of their tawdry tryst. - At the hospital, worried diva Kate asks Cam why Rafe is sleeping again. Cam checks his eyes and notes it could be a defense mechanism. Kate flashes back to the Salem patient wondering why Sami tried to kill him. - Abigail enters the pub, where she spies Chad leaving a message for Cam that they have to talk. She sits at his table and implores him not to do it! Chad wonders what she means. Misguided Abigail insists it is a bad idea for him to talk to Cam cos this is her decision! Chad is amused she thought it was about her. - At the coffee house, Sonny clears off a table and would rather not listen to Adrienne’s dire warnings of DiMera wrath. She notes his fatigue. He admits he went out last night. Will stayed home. Adrienne cannot conceal her delight that he went out without Will. It thrills her that he was with Brent of European study fame. She is pleased Sonny seems to be getting some of his old life back. Sonny warns her to stop when she declares he is trapped. He exclaims he and Gabi and Will are sharing responsibilities. They also have fun and play games and watch movies and talk. Adrienne gets sarcastic and suggests young people need to experience life with other young people. Sonny snaps at mother that he knows that is code for him breaking up with Will but it is NEVER happening. She calls him defensive and pretends she was not referring to Will, just the fact that his life used to be simple and he was so happy. Sonny pouts. Meanwhile, at apartment 14, Will is putting the baby in her crib when Brent drops by to return Sonny’s watch. He boasts he forgot it in his car last night. Will stares. Lucas arrives and Will makes the introductions. Lucas goes to peek at the princess. Sour Brent offers to give the watch to Sonny at the coffee house if there is a problem. Will politely wonders if they had fun. They were at a cool party like the old days. He asks Will about his night. It was great and Ari slept well. Lucas turns. When Brent exits, Lucas cannot believe Will actually let Sonny go out without him last night while he was sleeping! Sonny’s watch did not even make it home! There is something wrong with this picture! He wants to know where Gabi is. She has a class. Will assures him that life is good. Lucas questions why Sonny would think it was okay to leave him alone here and go out to a party. Will quietly states because he told him to. - At the nurse’s station, Abe gets himself a coffee. Kayla suspects he is having a bad day. A bad day and a bad year too! He complains of the complexity of the commissioner’s daughter shooting one of their own. They also need Rafe to recover, poor Rafe who has had a setback. Cam and Kate emerge from his room and Kayla wants answers. Cam informs the group the EEG shows no change, so there is no change in stress. Kate hisses only because Sami has been barred from his room and updates Abe on his reaction to her presence. Cam confirms it, then goes to get lunch. Kate thinks Sami will find some way to slither back to the room. Kayla points out at least she was able to get him communicating. Kate confesses he communicated with her too. Kayla demands to know what he said. Commissioner Abe is still present. Kate explains he might not have meant what he said ... they had been warned about his fuzzy perception of reality. She finally admits he asked her why Sami tried to kill him! - Sonny agrees to sit and talk with Adrienne, who thinks he has settled into a situation. Sonny assures her he is living with the guy he loves and life is good. Just then Brent arrives and apologizes for keeping him out late but it was worth it. Adrienne smiles. After a few pleasantries, Brent informs Sonny he left his watch with Will and told him they were at a rave. He hopes he does not mind. Sonny was planning to let him know but had not done so yet as he did not wish to wake him. Adrienne praises Brent on his world travels and notes Sonny wanted to be like Indiana Jones too. Sonny is not interested and steps away to get his friend a latte. - Chad teases Abigail this is not about her. He was asked by EJ to move into DiMera mansion, as he ousted Stefano. He laughs maybe she thought he wanted a duel with Cam and wonders what such a thing would be like. Enter Cam. - The priest wants to know what the DiMera dark princess is getting at. Doubts. He realizes she means everything in life is fleeting. Kristen leers one must keep one’s eye on the prize, that wonderful hereafter. Though if one is surely going to hell, why bother! However, she does feel free of duty and responsibility. He adds love and wonders where it leaves her. She breathes she can focus on her desires, which is why she is here! The priest wonders whether she wishes to confess. Nothing so formal but she wants to get something off her chest He assures her she can say anything to him. The she devil smirks to be careful what he wishes for, a glint in her cat eyes ... - Lucas lectures Will for letting Sonny go out. Will reminds him Sonny loves Ari but he has led an exciting life. He - Will - is the one who is the parent with responsibilities. And when the baby is older, then he and Sonny can travel and do all the things they want to do together. Lucas is impressed that his son has a wise old soul. Alice would be proud. Lucas hugs him in a half headlock. "I love you man!" - Adrienne giggles as Brent leaves. Sonny snaps she is pushing them together, just like she did with Brian He does not want to do this again and strongly suggests she not tell him what to do with his life. Adrienne claims she is interested in Brent’s architectural knowledge and adds he should meet Victor too, with all his qualities. Sonny realizes she is in essence putting down Will. She does not deny she wants the best for her son. He explains he already has the best. She can either accept them or forget about them! - Kristen reminds Eric that she sank a whole lot of money into the school project. She did not receive an invitation to the reception. He replies it is a small reception. She understands, yet it would mean much for her to be able to attend, especially now. Eric has misgivings, as Brady and Marlena will be present. Kristen argues the church school could not have happened without her and promises to behave. The DiMeras want this to succeed, given all the funding they poured into the project. Ciara skips in and hugs Father Eric. She introduces a little boy who will be attending the school when it opens. The priest is looking forward to it. The lad notes his mom said the new school would change his life. He certainly hopes so! So does Eric. Kristen blinks, still standing under a picture of Jesus. Ciara informs Eric that the boy's previous school had no computer or playground and a barbed wire fence. Eric suggests they go for a VIP tour, since kids are the reason they built the school. He wants the boy to break in a baseball glove, too. Before he exits, he graciously informs Kristen he will have Sister Margaret bring her a ticket. Kristen thanks him. One alone, her conscience gets the better of her and she asks Jesus what the hell he is looking at … - At the pub, Abigail decides she should go. Chad would like her take on this too He informs her and Cam that EJ wants him to move back in and he cannot discuss it with Lexie as he would have done in the past. Abigail thinks he should ask Will and Sonny their view, since Will lived at the mansion once upon a time. Chad notes they are busy and he needs to make a decision fast. He totally trusts Cam and Abigail’s judgment. Cam suggests it would be World War III. Abigail agrees that Stefano might not take it well either. Chad thanks them for the input and decides they are done. He needs time to think things through. Cam stares. He advises him to get his bumped head checked out. Chad insists he is fine and goofily goes. Cam kisses Abigail on the cheek, wishes her a good day, and heads back to work. - Chief of staff Kayla accuses Kate of hiding important things from the doctors responsible for Rafe’s recovery. Kate sighs he could have been delusional. Abe is amazed she seems to be sticking up for Sami. The nurse appears and announces Rafe is waking up again. Kate promises not to upset him if she can come with. And so Kayla, Abe, and Kate return to the Salem patient’s room, where he repeats a shocking accusation ... - Meanwhile Sonny is back at apartment 14.
