The glam redhead cries it was as though she had never known Jen. Victor thinks they should let Dan know they are here for him. And he wishes he could make her feel better. She cries to keep holding her. Vargas teases Nicole about marrying that DiMera guy twice. The DiMera name carries weight in Statesville, where everyone knows it. Nicole sighs everyone knows about their drama, she is not used to discussing it. Vargas drawls he was otherwise engaged while she was living out her drama. He is curious about marrying him twice. Nicole mulls over the definition of insanity, always hoping for a different result. That’s her! He assures her she seems sane to him and starts to go. She now has a question of her own. Why is he so easy to talk to? Vargas grins. He learned how to talk and listen being in the same place for ten years. He refers to her as a go getter but she thinks she settles for whatever comes, hence her job at the parish. Vargas is sure she is regrouping, and she is smart. She blushes. He decides to get back to his work in the basement and flirts he has his own next move to ponder. Nicole is intrigued. Kristen questions whether they have the right guy. Hope explains to Kristen that the perp was nervous about the date of the mugging and has no alibi. A cop brings in the mugshot so Kristen sits and takes a look. She agrees that is one of the guys, the unfamiliar man with the big beard! Hope appears suspicious. Kristen insists she was right and now tells Brady, who has arrived, that they found the mugger, Brady disagrees. Kristen claims the guy hit him from behind but she saw him so she would know! Hope notes her original statement was that she did not get a good look at either mugger. She adds they should stay and have a look at their new updated mugshot book. Brady agrees. Kristen becomes even more tense. She sits and claims they all look alike. Brady suddenly points at a mugshot of none other than Sy. "HIM!" he exclaims. Kristen remembers her deception, how Sy cane back to blackmail her. She blinks. Brady drawls that is definitely one of his muggers. Hope asks Kristen if she recognizes him. Pause. Sy the mugger turned blackmailer has been busy counting money. He flashes back to his deal with Kristen and complains the cash was not nearly enough! He has another idea. He brazenly calls the Kiriakis mansion and explains they need to talk! Victor wants to know who this is. Sy claims to have information he would want to know about his grandson Brady and that woman he is with, Kristen DiMera ... Jen is outside talking to her scholarly son on the phone, but he seems very busy. She is standing all alone outside the pub. She now places another call. She is going to reach out to her mother ... Dan goes into his apartment as Nancy sings up a storm in the shower. He sees her passport as he searches for his phone and a frown creases his brow. Chloe, meanwhile, is with Parker, coaching him to tell people that he was in New York, not Brazil. But at the apartment, Dan has already spied the visa Nancy had for Brazil, which was sticking out of her passport. He slowly opens the passport and stares darkly. END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Dan is summoned. Nicole reveals what she really thinks of Chloe, the lengths she thinks she would go to! |
