Sami blushes and holds up her bold engagement ring. He chuckles they are getting marrrried! EJ insists they are gloriously happy. Sami is relieved to hear the phoenix declare it is wonderful. He adds his son got what he wanted. Sami smiles so did she. EJ has the champagne ready! Stefano brings up what it means to be a DiMera. Sami plays the role of the dutiful future daughter-in-law and asks for his tips on being a good grandparent, as Will is becoming a father within the month. Champagne glasses are raised as Stefano toasts to their eternal happiness. Sami nervously laughs and drinks up. John is sorry the girl in the baseball cap is dead. She thinks she was a fool anyway. John sighs too bad cos she was the real deal. They are both holding the jersey now, their eyes locked. Enter the Brady. And he is not amused. "What the hell is goin on here!" He grabs his father by the collar, enraged he is still playing games with his girl. John exerts great self-control. Devil with the blues dress Kristen cries to stop! She did ask him to come over so he could take his jersey back. She throws it at him and John calmly saunters out with jersey in hand. Hothead Brady thunders it is no use, he is not gonna stop! Kristen tries to calm him down. Easier said than done. "The guy is not over you!" He reminds her she obsessed over him for years and demands to know if she still has old feelings for him. If so, they are through! Sonny smoothly convinces T that Will is well, he just has a lot on his plate, as he is becoming a father. Shallow T is satisfied with the answer, teases next time he will kick their kayaking asses, and takes his leave. Sonny immediately calls mama Adrienne. He is pleased to hear no one else is at the Kiriakis mansion. He is on his way! Once he gets there, he updates mama Adrienne on how Will is coping. Adrienne is surprised Nick and Gabi have not even spoken of what happened. Sonny glances around and wonders how their living here is working out. She pours the drinks and explains it is all polite. Sonny claims to be interested in the kind of environment the child will be raised in, hence his questions. Adrienne informs him that Nick works from home more and more, also jogs, and spends time Gabi at the pub. Sonny now sneakily finds out what room they are using at the house. Adrienne wants him to just come clean! She knows he is on an intelligence gathering mission and warns her son to be careful. As per attorney Justin, Nick is brilliant at working the legal system to his advantage. Sonny promises to exercise caution and mother and son hug. She now asks what he needs to know ... Kate joins Rafe at the town square. The popular man in black plants a kiss on her, grinning he cares not who sees them together. She apologizes for her tardiness. They dance around what he knows she already knows. He laughs it was an experience seeing all those screaming women waiting for him to disrobe. Diva Kate cuts to the chase "Was Sami there?" He casually explains she was, as were a number of others. Matter of fact, she can find them on Caroline Brady’s social media page. Diva Kate now whips out a 500 dollar donation for the charity, provided he show her his act in private. Rafe is intrigued. And so ... after the lovin, they cuddle in his bed. Kate whispers it was really good. Rafe chuckles for him too. Kate now berates herself for bringing up Sami. She hates sounding like an insecure woman, though she finds it hard to imagine him with any other woman. She starts to kiss him passionately and possessively. Sami opens the DiMera door to Will, who is clad in a plaid shirt, a yellow soccer ball in his hand. Sami, champagne glass still in hand, whispers why does he have Johnny’s ball? Cos the lad left it in the car. She whispers nice touch, reminds him Stefano must believe this is his own idea, and shows him into the living room. Stefano is pleased by the unexpected visit from the young man, who appears interested in the chess set. The phoenix fondly recalls when he showed him the proper way to play and suggests a rematch of their last game. EJ and Sami encourage him. Will grins. At the chess table, the master goes over a move with his pupil, whom he hopes will teach the same move to his daughter one day. A king’s position should not be weakened! Will grimaces. Stefano wonders what is the matter. Will blinks. EJ stands up and explains William has a little problem. What problem? EJ sighs he has signed away his rights as a fatha. Stefano cannot believe it. Sami complains he was blackmailed by Nick Fallon! Stefano growls that one has a record, how can he blackmail anybody? EJ explains Fallon knows the police still have evidence about that past crime that could implicate Will. Stefano sighs that is unfortunate as they all forgave him for it. "Your move, William.' And so the game continues. Sami starts to loudly discuss the situation with EJ, wishing they could destroy the police evidence. If only they had the right person to get into the evidence room! She then apologizes for being so vocal. Stefano suddenly declares checkmate and ends the game. Sami appears disheartened. Will forces a smile. At the pub, Hope happily talks to Nick and Gabi about being a parent. She points out they also have Will and Sonny to help. Nick wonders if she really thinks that is an ideal life for a little girl. Both Hope and Gabi want to know what he means by that! Nick the homophobe pretends he just thought it would be confusing to have both parents and stepparents. Hope begs to differ. Nick humors her as Hope assures them the child will love them all. Uncomfortable Gabi notes visitation will be tricky. Hope suggests they remember that it is important for all parties to get along, for the sake of the child, and leaves to find Ciara for school. Colorful Gabi informs Nick that she happens to agree with what Hope said. Nick tries to confuse her by insisting he is the only one who is not subjective in this situation. Stefano compliments William on his elegant offense and stands up to make a call. He now pauses and asks Samantha did she not want to ask a favor of him for the both of them! Ciara is playing alone at her desk. She opens her pink kitty folder and takes out the black and white picture of Kristen paying off Sy. Kristen’s reply to Brady is to grab and kiss him passionately. She locks the door and the clothes come off fast and furious. Meanwhile, John is sitting on a bench, nostalgic blue jersey in hand, unaware that Kristen is now down to her black lingerie, trying desperately to forget him, in the arms of another ... END!
