Episode 12,072 - Shirtless Dan and pretty nightgown Jen wake up and kiss. He casually wonders how she would feel if he quit his medical career. She gasps she would be surprised. Dan sits up and tells her how alive he felt on the stage. He drawls he has found his life’s desire and now wants to become a pro stripper! Jen grins that is great and her mama will love it! Shirtless Dan keeps teasing. She plays along that she wants him to live his dream, but only after he picks up Parker at Maggie’s. She calls him her stripper man and he breathes he has something else to do now! She gushes it is a great idea. He gushes they are a team. She now points out she should venture to the hospital to see about her job. She gets out of bed and he grins noooo and admires the view. - Vargas drops by Father Eric’s holy office before going on break. He repeats his apology about last night. He hopes they are cool. Eric diverts his gaze. Meanwhile, Nicole comes close to calling Father Hunky, then flashes back to moaning his name while with Vargas. She is feeling as blue as the stripes she is wearing. - At the coffee house, John sips his coffee from a big blue mug and chuckles as he recalls the gift he gave Kristen. "Come on crazy K, takes the bait!" His eyes are dancing with amusement as he continues his plan. - At DiMera mansion, Brady and stylish Kristen are up and ready for a new day. She teases him about last night as she does not want to share him with other women. He pauses while hugging her and becomes peeved upon seeing the blue jersey from John is still there. She insists she will get rid of it today. Brady picks it up and wonders whether it holds memories for her. She confesses it does indeed, of her past romance with John. However, she has changed since then, as has John the manipulative man she now believes he is. Brady agrees he plays mind games. He knows he had ulterior motives giving her this gift but what would it be?! She talks peace offering. He talks old feelings despite his love for Marlena. He has moved on with Marlena of course, though he does not want Kristen to move on with anyone, especially not him! Kristen smiles they are getting married, which will be the best day of her life, and kisses him. They now giggle about last night. He appreciates how she cheered. She praises him for helping Lexie’s brother and handling that nightstick so shockingly well. Brady marvels they now get along in bed and everywhere else too. They exchange I love yous. He is sorry he overreacted about the jersey. No harm done and now she must go to work. He offers to drive her. She has something to do first and he departs after another kiss. Kristen stares from the engagement ring on her finger to the jersey in the bag. The devil with the blue dress on now calls John, who drawls a surprised and seductive hello. Kristen summons him to her office, her voice as cold as ice. Ice, however, has a melting point ... - Seated at the outdoor cafe, Ciara sneaks a peek at her secret photo of Kristen and the mugger. Hope returns with the menu. Eerie music is heard as the child announces she wishes to ask her something about Brady and his girlfriend! What is her name? Hope replies Kristen and wonders why. More eerie music is heard as Ciara strangely states "I know something about her!" Hope advises her daughter not to gossip or believe gossip. Ciara clarifies. She was not gossiping. Hope wonders what is going on. Ciara boasts that she has something ... oh oh! - Back at the rectory, Eric pours himself more coffee. He cannot say he and Vargas are cool. He was working on a sermon in the very office where he and Nicole were ... Needless to say, they are not exactly cool. Vargas implies he does not know what it is to be a man. Eric mutters he certainly does! He solemnly states his office is his work, his life and sends him on his break. Vargas is sorry and leaves. Exasperated Eric sits down and raises his eyes to the heavens. Ring ring! Tis Nicole. His tone of voice like a boyfriend betrayed, the testy priest snaps what does she want! She retorts she wants to know when she can pick up her belongings. Eric retorts she can come in a half hour, when he will be at a meeting and abruptly ends the call after saying a curt and final goodbye. Nicole woefully heads for the pub, where bartender Tom assumes she wants a blood mary, like the old days. Not today. Today just a coffee. She turns, only to run into Vargas! Neither wants any drama. Vargas leers he prefers breakfast without a side order of crazy and goes elsewhere. Nicole soap stares. Dapper Abe emerges and wonders what might have happened. They were becoming such fine friends before! Nicole suggests it is not his business. He suggests it is, given his role as liaison in the outreach program. He suspects Vargas has done something wrong and probes. Nicole insists he has not and does not want to cause trouble. Abe is sorry for interfering in her personal life. Nicole blinks her pretty blue eyes and asks for some advice about doing the right thing. She laments she feels she never got over her mother dying, especially how it happened. She fights back the tears as she points out she then lost both of her babies. Abe sympathetically notes she has lost her way and does not really care to find it again. Abe can relate and admits he is holding on for Theo. Otherwise, it is all so senseless. Nicole gets teary eyed about going crazy and trying to send an innocent woman to the slammer. Abe fondly recalls how worried Fay used to be about her wanting to control things. He advises her to make good decisions on whatever life gives her. One must be patient. Nicole smiles this is new for her. Abe continues with the pep talk and assures her she shall overcome. Nicole, however, fears it is too late, especially after what happened yesterday ... - Meanwhile, happy couple Dan and Jen flounce into the rectory, where Jen was hoping to find Nicole to thank her. She must get to the hospital as Nicole is not there. But happy man Dan waits. Eric wonders what they wanted to thank Nicole for. What exactly did she do ...?
