THIS EPISODE WAS TWEETED ONE HOUR AHEAD BY DAYSCAFE :) DOING THE HUSTLE Episode 12,071 - The exciting music starts and the curtain goes up at the Chicago club. Anne shouts that a doctor will be on that stage. She is right, though the dancer is not Cam. It is Dan the cowboy, who shakes and dances up a storm for the adoring crowd. Caroline and Sami shower him with tips. The hospital head dares Anne to criticize the honorable Dr. Dan. Jen insists it is pure fun and Sami giggles. Kristen introduces herself and the hospital head gushes he knows and appreciates her father, who is on the board. Glam Kristen sips her martini and offers to help with future funding as she has Stefano’s proxy for the next meeting. Nearby Anne hisses at smiling Jen and Abigail this will not work! But alas it already has. Jen joins Dan with some bills and he grabs her. Anne warns Abigail her rich and important friends cannot protect her boyfriend for long! The first act comes to an end. Sami, Jen, Carline, and Maxine enjoy the drinks at their table as they await the next act. Demurely dressed Sami hopes Dan will not get in trouble. Jen announces her plan is just getting started. Lo and behold Brady the cop comes out! Sami and Kristen end up standing together and Kristen teases is EJ next? Sami laughs it is not his style. Besides, he is out of town. The only guy she could have called was Eric, whom she still cannot think of as an actual priest. On stage, Brady takes his shirt off, as fans give him bills, and then kisses Kristen. HR Anne insists to the head administrator that Cam will show up. However, he is hesitant to hound any of these hospital heavies. The next act to take to the stage is Rafe in a hardhat and undershirt. He notices Sami, who notices him and takes a drink. Abigail explains to the hospital head that Rafe is a detective with the Salem PD. Maxine rushes off for more bills. Kristen teases Sami she was married to the now shirtless dancing Rafe. Sami gets embarrassed. She assures Kristen that EJ has nothing to worry about. Kristen checks out Rafe with her cat eyes. Anne, meanwhile, has not given up trying to play the morality police. No one is interested. The crowd goes wild now for more. Rafe and Dan and Brady appear on stage together with Cam. They tear off their shirts and dance in unison. The female audience screams and the money flies. Sami appears a tad uncomfortable, the ring sparkling on her engaged finger. The guys gather more bills and Kristen asks Caroline and Sami who their favorite dancer was. Hers was Brady! Meanwhile Anne and Jen observe HR Anne with the hospital head, Burns. Maxine thinks it is a bad sign he is still here. It shows he is presently undecided. The dance troupe comes back on stage to much applause. Cam is fully dressed when he joins Abigail. They stare at Anne, who is still arguing her morality case to Burns. They all wonder. Dan and Cam approach and declare this was a fundraiser for the hospital. Cam admits he did work at this club temporarily too to pay off his loans but that is over. He is fully aware Anne wants him fired over it. The hospital head faces the crowd and they await his decision. "This was a wonderful event!" he gushes. He praises their doctors for going the extra mile for the kids. Anne’s protests are ignored. Burns will only say he does have personnel changes in mind and pleasantly departs. Anne warns this is not over and storms out in a huff. Kristen calls after her like the wicked witch of the west. Brady chuckles that one needs a fruit basket. Maxine laughs she must be the soon to be ex PR director. Cam thanks them all and is touched when Dan informs him this was actually the doing of the fair Abigail and Jen ... - In the hotel room, Vargas and Nicole are giving into temptation when she moans to Eric how much she wants him. He stops and informs Nicole she just called him Eric. She denies it but the former felon is no fool. He knows what he heard. Nicole thinks it must be a joke and teases him to make it up to her. He gets back to the action but the blonde still wants him to say it was a joke. He explains he is no liar and she did call him Eric! Nicole gasps. He drawls to forget it, for he does have eyes, though he is not thrilled. About what? He could not help but notice that she has the hots for the guy. He wants to get back to the action but she calls him a buzz kill and gets out of bed. She throws his shirt at him and kicks him out. Vargas leers there is a word for what she is. Nicole wonders what he is going to tell Eric. Nothing, but if he wants to know what he thinks of Nicole, he will not hesitate! Spurned Vargas now storms out. Nicole watches in her pink robe and gasps nervously. - At the rectory, Father Matt the sage questions whether there is only friendship between newbie priest Eric and parish secretary Nicole. The senior priest wants to know how far it has gone. Eric assures him nothing has happened but his feelings do go beyond friendship. He gasps he loves Nicole. However, he is not in love with her. Matt listens and learns she was his first love. Eric adds they went their separate paths but he still cares and she has such potential. If only she did not keep getting her heart broken! According to her, she wanted to change. Matt believes she was sincere. Tormented Eric laments she is self-destructing. Matt wonders what happened. The priest confesses he caught Nicole and the ex con behaving badly. She will get burned by her mistake! Matt urges him to guide her, though that is all he can do. They serve God, they do not play God. What makes him think he can do more for Nicole than any other parishioner? He orders him to think about it and solemnly exits. And so Eric does some soul searching ... - Jen is with Dan her cowboy. He was glad to help for Cam and Abigail. They watch the young couple at their table. Abigail babbles. She is sorry but this was the only way out. He suggests she breathe, then notes they need to talk. He leads her away by the hand. They disappear backstage together. Dressed Rafe now goofily greets Sami, who stammers he did great. He admits it was unexpected. He had not expected to see anyone he knew in the audience and there she was. They agree it was an awkward moment. Kristen giggles and says he was great. He laughs nervously. Kristen craftily intrudes herself as Sami’s soon to be sister-in-law. The smile fades fast and Rafe stares darkly. Kristen grabs Sami’s hand, admires the engagement ring, and Rafe woefully forces a smile. Kristen boasts that stone must be at least two karats. Rafe mutters his congratulations. Brady rejoins Kristen, who is still gushing about the engagement. Brady wants to whisk his woman home. Alone again, Sami apologizes to Rafe for Kristen making him find out this way. He remarks she does seem happy. She informs him she is. He looks away and drawls that is all he ever wanted for her.
