Part 2 Nick stammers to curious Abigail that he and Sonny had a fight and he was an idiot. He intends to let him know he did not mean what he said. Abigail says "Oh." Nick now gets paged to a work emergency and stammers he will have to talk to Sonny later. Once he leaves in his emotional state, Abigail wonders what is really wrong with him. Will would rather not discuss Nick - or the baby situation when she asks. He smiles that he is hopeful, though, and goes inside the coffee house. The girl in pink suspects she was filling a void. Friendship and sex are not love. Dan agrees. Jen talks true love. Her soul mate was Jack and these memories in her house made her feel unfaithful. She had one true love and his name was Jack. There will never be another! Not Dan, not anyone. Dan is at a loss for words. Abigail walks in on Dan and Jen’s emotional conversation. Jen explains he was just leaving. He insists they will talk later and departs. Outside, Anne is lurking and calls Chloe that the good doctor just unhappily took his leave. Inside, Jen holds the pretty spring flowers and cries. She and Dan are finished. Abigail does not understand what happened. Jen sniffles she hurt him to the core and he will probably never forgive her! Brady believes he and John have zero chance of ever fixing things and suggests he focus on fixing things with the blonde instead. He saunters out. John peers at her. "Marlena," he begins, but she stops him. She clearly informs him she refuses to give up on him or Brady and haughtily exits. John grins. Sy warns Kristen that the picture in that envelope will be worth big money to someone, if not her. She snaps to get the hell outta here. With a chuckle and a smirk, he is gone. Kristen soon wonders about the envelope she is holding. She opens it and goes through the photos, which captured her plotting with him before he attacked Brady. Oh no! She discovers she also deleted his number and has no way to reach him. No matter. She is a DiMera and she will not let the s.o.b. win! Boss lady Kate has summoned Nick to the town square and she wants answers this time. He sighs he is not hiding anything. She warns him not to try and con her. She knows for a fact that he did something to make Will give up his parental rights and wants him to change his mind! Nick numbly states he is not having second thoughts. He stands by his decision. Kate reminds him she is the baby’s great grandmother. He promises she can see her. Kate is convinced Gabi would not keep her baby form the loving father unless she had been coerced by Nick. She demands to know what he did and why. Nick blinks. He remarks Gabi has her own mind and he does not give her orders. Kate notes he told Will what to do. She now adds something seems to be getting to Nick the cool cucumber and goes on to say she can either help him or use her powers to unearth his deepest darkest secret. The choice is his! She will be in touch and walks away. Nick stares. At the coffee house, Sonny charmingly gets a coffee for Will, who updates him on his bizarre conversation with a most upset Nick, who wanted to apologize. Sonny laughs that is a shocker. Will points out he then took off. Sonny thinks he is still a homophobe. Will agrees. He would not care about Nick if not for Gabi and the baby. He smiles he cannot imagine how he would get through this trying time without Sonny. Pause. Sonny suddenly stammers he has been keeping something from him and he can no longer do it! Will teases maybe he should sit down. Sonny starts to explain it is something he chanced upon. He sits with Will and tries to make light of the fact that he discovered something about ... Kate and Rafe. Will's eyes flicker in bewilderment. Meanwhile, outside the coffee house, Kate impatiently texts her coffee date Rafe, who seems to be running late. Dan bursts into the apartment, yelling for Chloe. Seconds later she enters and asks what is going on. He rages he knows what she has done! He accuses her of leading Jen the good to believe they slept together and now questions where she has been. She lies she was at the spa. He rages she is not telling the truth. She wonders what happened but he knows she already knows! Chloe continues to play innocent. Jen cries to Abigail that it is no use. Abigail suggests she tell Dan how she really feels. Jen sighs. Meanwhile Dan accuses Chloe of secretly visiting Jen today before he got there. He demands she come clean about what she said to her. "TALK!" he thunders. Brady follows Sami back to the mansion and gets her to confess that John asked her to keep an eye on Kristen. He scoffs but is grateful she refused, then likens the situation to Sami and EJ. He does not care what anyone thinks. He knows that Kristen loves him and that is all he needs! He boasts to Sami that he and Kristen are solid so no one will change his mind. But at that very moment, Sy, the mugger for hire, is approaching Marlena outside the café to tell her something BIG. Kristen peers over the flowers and worriedly wonders whether she is too late to prevent her exposure ...! Ahead on Days of Our Lives Will takes it hard that Kate and Rafe are having an affair. Chad and Abigail team up to do some sleuthing! |
