Part 2 Kristen takes out the blue sweatshirt which says Coach on one side, Salem Moos on the other. She emotionally flashes back to John presenting her with it years past and holds it close, sighing that was long ago. She regains her composure and decides to use it to further her agenda. Meanwhile Marlena shares her view with Hope that Brady’s mugging was not so random after all. The mugger might confess that Kristen was the mastermind. Hope thinks it might not be farfetched. If they find this guy, they can make him talk! Marlena excuses herself when Ciara joins her mother. The little girl has her pink backpack and sighs she misses daddy. Hope does too and holds her close. Rafe does not wish to discuss his love life or his feelings for Kate. Gabi wonders if she is persuasive with him. How much influence does she have? Rafe laments it does not matter now. They broke up, as he felt she used him to get to her. Gabi hopes he did not end the affair because of her. Rafe now decides that was not the reason and assures her all he cares about is his future niece. He suggests she not tell Nick he was involved with Kate. Gabi senses his unhappiness and wonders whether they will reconcile. Rafe hangs his head. She wants him to be happy and if Kate made him happy, then she is grateful. She wants him to be happy with anyone but Sami and gives him a hug. Rafe considers. Nick calmly explains there is nothing to explain, he fell in love with Gabi when he got out. Vargas thinks he was rather in a hurry to jump into the readymade family. He was there, he knows what Nick went through in that place. He warns him that desperation can ruin everything, adds it was good chatting with him, and gets back to work. Nick stares. He returns to Gabi at their room in the Kiriakis mansion, where she is gushing over the new baby clothes for their little one. He solemnly hopes nothing will ever get in the way of their happy family. Ominous music is heard as he insists they need to fight to protect it and should never let their guard down. Gabi starts to get spooked by his intensity. What happened? He kisses her hand and apologizes for scaring her. She wonders what he means. Nick sighs he has a feeling they could lose their perfect existence. She insists they will not. He adds soon there will be three of them. She cannot wait. Neither can he and he kisses her, his eyes haunted. Sami thanks EJ for this day and he admits he wishes they were alone. He asks her to follow him and so she does. They flounce out of the pub, hand in hand. Lucan runs into the giggling pair and suspiciously wonders why the happy faces. They talk lunch. Lucas spies the pricey engagement ring on Sami’s finger and gets sarcastic. They must have a wedding planner on retainer by now! He pokes fun at EJ’s British accent, He congratulates them on their next 15 minutes of matrimony. Sami asks him not to tell anyone, He will not and drawls it is not good news anyway. It is pathetic and predictable! He storms off. Sami laughs nervously. Kate sits prettily alone at the town square. Rafe places a flower before her and gently calls a truce. Kate takes the white rose in her hand and muses it was well played, the white flower of surrender. He sits and apologizes for hurting her feelings. She alludes to the fact that he must care. He hopes they can end this talk with a walk, the way happy endings go. He is curious what she thinks. She thinks she would like to try. Their eyes lock with longing. Sami and EJ have slipped into DiMera mansion via the servants entrance and are alone at last in his grand bed, kissing. She hopes this will be a tradition. He teases it is already and reminds her he loves her and cannot wait to be married to her. She kisses him back and seconds the notion. She calls him quite a catch and removes his tie. Lovestruck Sami gushes he is also a great father and she loves they will be a family. He thinks the kids deserve that. She whispers she loves him so much. He loves her too and they proceed to kiss passionately. After the loving, Sami teases EJ about the day they met and the towel he was wearing. He chuckles it was no accident he was wearing no more than a towel. She lets him know he still gets her heart racing like that day. He confesses his heart is racing too and kisses her again. Kristen is waiting at the mansion when suited Stefano finally returns. He took care of Sy as promised but this is not over. Sy sent the pictures of them together dirrrrrectly to Victor Kiriakis. Kristen screams this cannot be happening. Stefano gets a text and excuses himself, leaving his daughter to deal with the detail. Kristen tells herself Brady simply cannot see those photos, this cannot end in such a way! Meanwhile, Brady gets off his biz call at the town square and sits down to look over a report from his briefcase. Once again, the same envelope is at the top. He takes it in his hand. John comes down the town square stairs, a man on a mission. Marlena sees him, then decides to turn and walk away before he spots her. John takes out his phone and hopes his plan will work. It simply has to! Meanwhile, Kristen gets herself all worked up as she wonders whether John and Brady have seen the photos. She decides to go do damage control but when she opens the front door, there stands Brady! He gives her an intense look. She gasps, fearing she might have lost his love already ... END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives Sonny's dishonest admirer Brian gets a tongue lashing from Will! Kristen is still scrambling to find the missing picture of her with Sy! |
