Episode 12,081 - London student JJ and mama Jen act happy to see one another. Family hug in the Horton house! She wonders why he is out of school 3 weeks before the semester is over. JJ smoothly states his exams were all take home so he finished early and ditched London. He removes his jacket, settles on the couch in his jeans and t-shirt, and tells her not to worry. He casually wonders what she has been doing. Jen gulps. She hopes that when she shares her news ... Abigail flounces in with her designer handbag and excitedly hugs her little brother. Jen excuses herself to change out of her fancy dress. Abigail and JJ sit and talk. She asks why he came home early. He talks take home exams. She wonders what is really going on! He denies there is any problem and claims he is jet lagged from his long flight. She graciously agrees to give him a reprieve for one day. He asks about Cameron. She gushes he is great. Little bro believes she deserves happiness in love. He becomes strangely quiet when Abigail informs him Jen has found happiness with Daniel. He diverts his gaze, as he clearly does not approve. - John has found Kristen with her wedding veil in the secret DiMera room! She snaps what is he doing here! He quietly closes the door and drawls it is high time they finish what they started. He shows her the key that got him in for a price. She warns him to leave cos security will soon make the rounds. The former spy muses not for another hour and fifty eight minutes. He has everyone’s schedule. She urges him to go. His eyes narrow. Is it what she wants? She informs him they are over and done for real! He questions that. She emotionally exclaims she wants to be free of her past and the memory of what she has lost. He points out she still came down here. Kristen cries it is not fair to Brady what is happening between them so it must end. She wants things to be clean and opens the box further, finding more memorabilia from their almost wedding. John is curious what she wants. She wants what she has been dreaming of for years. Her happy ending! Does he not recognize these items from their wedding? She hands him the veil. There is also the dusty candle and the exquisite strand of pearls from her mother. She was saving this for the right marriage. He wonders whether she wore the pearl necklace in her marriage to Tony. No, she did not wear it then, nor will she wear it for her upcoming wedding to Brady. She dangles the sapphire necklace from Jen she will wear, which symbolizes new beginnings. John takes a step closer and reminds her she said she wanted to be free from the past. She now concedes perhaps her illustrious past will never let go of her! - At the house of Kiriakis, proud papa Will shows Gabi a toy dashboard gift. She smiles their child would need to be a year old. Will explains it was a limited edition. Gabi promises he will be around and Nick will not keep him at bay. Will agrees. She notes his changed mood and asks what happened to change it. She puts aside a big pink ribbon and points out he has been acting different about the baby. He marvels the time is approaching fast. Gabi smiles Nick will not cause any trouble and Will grins. He knows it! He teases her about her cravings that Nick indulges. He asks if she is happy with Nick. For the most part, except for his little stress from work. Will sighs. Gabi laments she is late and goes to get her handbag. She will walk him to the door. - Dangerous music plays as a dangerous man joins Nick at his coffee house table. Nick nervously notes they should not be seen together in public but Vargas begs to differ. He lowers his voices and demands an update on his big money that the genius was ordered to make bigger. Nick flashes back to trying unsuccessfully to find the now missing money. Oh oh! He stammers about building capital. Vargas reminds him this is top priority and senses he is not sharing something. Nick admits it is true. He exclaims he is feeling the pressure from all sides, including his witchy boss and his wife! He needs space to be able to breathe, to focus, to make the right decisions. Vargas agrees to give him some oxygen cos his money is the most important thing. Pregnant Gabi arrives and asks if everything is okay. - Outside the pub, Joe, the cop on Stefano’s payroll, plays innocent about the evidence. Sami physically stops him from walking away and babbles Stefano did not want to be seen in public with him. He is supposed to hand over the evidence to her! He quips she is nuts cos he would never do anything for criminal scum like a DiMera. He works only for the Salem P.D.! He takes off with his bag of evidence, Sami races after him in hot pursuit through the town square. The loud running footsteps inspire a young brunette to dance to the beat. Sami eventually catches up with jumpy Joe at the town gate and insists this is no trick. She also noticed him with boss Stefano here earlier. He notes he was supposed to bring Stefano the evidence. Sami insists there was a change of plans, and Joe proceeds to call him for confirmation. Sami snatches the phone away. The flunky warns not to mess with the DiMeras. She offers to make it worth his while! She impulsively whips out the envelope of Nick’s stolen money and shoves the entire $30,000 at him, in exchange for the evidence in his backpack. Jumpy Joe refuses to double cross Stefano and they start to struggle. In the end, Sami does not get the evidence and he literally shakes her off his back and runs away with his backpack. Sami gathers the fallen money and gasps he will pay. - Stefano has evidently told Brady he knows not where Kristen is. Brady now asks a most amused EJ if he knows where his beloved is, for her car is in the driveway. EJ chuckles there must be trouble in paradise. Brady insists the wedding is still on! Meanwhile wavy haired Maggie wants a word with Dan at the hospital about anxious Brady. She is concerned about him mixing two toxic addictions - booze and love, thanks to that Kristen DiMera. Dan thinks his fiancée Kristen is not the problem but will see what he can do. - EJ is now at a pub table and glances at his watch. Will races in, out of breath, anxious that Sami does not have the evidence yet. EJ notes she will be there soon and suggests he relax. He assures him they will make things right. His motha will handle this. Will admits he is relieved at least EJ is involved. EJ is relieved he is allowing his motha to do something to make things up to him. Will now brings up Stefano, the fact that he is coming through for him too. EJ becomes ominously silent ... Read Part 2 of Hunting plus Spoilers ...! |
