Brady drawls these are their adoption papers. For real. She gets choked up and cannot believe he did this for her. Brady gallantly assures her she can be a mom if she wants. She places a dramatic hand on her forehead and Brady hopes she is happy. She woefully asks him to stop talking about it. This is more than her scheming heart can bear. She shakes her shaggy head and laments she cannot go on for he does not deserve this! Brady is baffled. He insists it matters not that the child is adopted as there are needy children out there. She thinks none of them would need the likes of her. He reassures his fiancee that he loves her much and she looks up at him with her sad eyes. She had not anticipated how much he loved her. No one has ever cared for her so deeply, not even John! She hangs her head in shame. She simply cannot do this and admits it goes back to his dad. A frown creases Brady’s brow. Tragic music plays as Kristen explains how what happened broke her and it took her years to overcome. She had holes in her heart. They made her do things, too. Brady assumes she is referring to losing her child. He regrets bringing back those memories. - At the ornate Kiriakis mansion, Ciara sneakily admires her secret photo of Kristen paying off someone. She and Hope are visiting Adrienne and Justin, but Ciara has no interest in admiring the gifts for Gabi’s baby. Adrienne brings up Bo’s return. The little girl in the red outfit laments papa Bo is never coming back. Hope tries to console her heartbroken daughter. Daddy is away cos of work and will eventually come home. Ciara pouts and requests a snack. Justin pleasantly offers to get her something in the kitchen. Adrienne is sorry. Hope admits she does not know when Bo is actually returning. Ciara overhears. But her glum expression is replaced with excitement when Hope offers to take her to the zoo to see the pandas. Until Hope adds they have to stop by her office, that is. Then she gets bored again. - At the hospital, Dan has some free time. Jen is pleased. And his afternoon surgery, as per Maxine, also cancelled. He has a few hours to spare and Maxine teases she knows they will find something to do. They smile at each other. Jen suggests her house since Abigail has classes. Dan is interested. Meanwhile, Horton house has a familial intruder who could not help but notice Jen and Dan’s picture on the mantelpiece! He also notices the family picture with Jack and keeps walking around. Back at the hospital, Jen remembers she has an errand. Dan suggests they meet at his place. She agrees and he follows her into the elevator like a puppy dog. Maxine smiles at the happy couple. Love is in the air! - Ponytail Sami rushes into the DiMera living room and informs suited working EJ that Joe the cop gets off work in an hour. He drawls that is lovely dahling, though he has no idea who Joe is. Stefano’s plant at the police station! EJ laughs when he learns she was snooping around. She boasts she knows what she is doing. He wonders wot that is. Sami whispers she intends to intercept the evidence before the guy gives it to Stefano. However, Will has been calling, since he does not have any confidence she will be able to help. EJ offers to speak with him and grins when Sami gasps she will not let Stefano win this round! He gives her a kiss and asks her to come home in a hurry. She promises she will and flounces upstairs to get her keys. Ring ring! The incessant ringing of her cell phone leads EJ to peer into her black studded handbag. He is shocked to find a lady’s size revolver inside! Sami returns and he solemnly notes she is forgetting something. He shows her the gun and demands to know wot the hell she is doing with it! - John meets a thug at the town gate and exchanges cash for the key he needs. He wishes the guy happy trails and takes off with his key in hand! It is the next stage in his sneaky plan. - Back at Kristen’s office, Brady deduces his sweetheart is not over the past. Jen arrives and hopes all is well. She appears to be a tad early and offers to come back later. Kristen insists it is fine, thinks she can discuss with Brady at home when she is in better shape, and ushers him out. Jen wonder what is the matter. Kristen agrees it must be a case of wedding jitters. Maid of honor Jen proudly presents her with the sapphire necklace Dan gave her. It is something borrowed and blue, which will match what she is wearing. Dan gave the necklace to her as a sign of new beginnings, just like her and Brady. Kristen is reduced to tears. She cries she has been trying to make things right but is now not sure. Jen wonders what has changed. She sobs what changed is that Brady loves her like no one else. Jen smiles that is a good thing for she has won her life back. Kristen greedily considers. - At the DiMera mansion, EJ muses odd objects are falling out of Sami’s bag these days. Cash and God only knows wot else. She gets mad he opened her bag. He exclaims her phone rang. She explains it was as an engagement present from Kate, which she intended to leave in her desk. Then Nick came ... EJ is incensed. She assures him it is not loaded and promises to put it back in the office. Mindful of the danger swirling around her, he tries to convince her not to go, but she reasons she can hang out at the police station without calling attention, whereas he cannot. He urges dahling to be careful. They kiss and she flounces out. EJ raises his eyes to the heavens with a sigh. He now calls Justin, who agrees to meet and give him his decision on the sneaky proposal that will lead to Stefano’s ultimate demise ... - Dan comes across Brady brooding at the town square cafe and takes a seat. Brady feels badly he made his girl cry when he tried to do something nice. He blames John! - At the station, Hope informs Sami that Roman is not in today. Sami asks Ciara what is new.
