Someone has left a list of the big projects Countess W deals with, as per Sami's instructions. They examine it together. Sami is thrilled to have him by her side. They will be a force to be reckoned with. Lucas gets them coffee and hopes he is working with and not for her. She accepts the coffee and agrees. They work together. She now coyly wonders why EJ thought they were getting back together. Lucas gets a twinkle in his eye. She stammers she is curious if he thinks they could have a chance as a couple. He admits it did enter his mind, but teases he is not sure he would want to hook up with the woman who always made his life a living hell. She is quick to blame and bad tempered, but slow to forgive. And yet time and time again he comes back for more. There must be something there. Sami notes then the question is whether he is willing. Lucas murmurs he is curious and kisses her with a grin. She grins she is too, kisses him back, and hastily removes his shirt. After the lovin, they emerge from the bedroom, still kissing ... - Roman saunters over to Kate at the pub. She assumes he wants a word about Sami, but he just has some advice for her concerning her husband. Kate realizes he does not know. Stefano dumped her! Roman's eyes are filled with concern. "Are you okay?" No, she is not, due to him stealing her company and handing it to Sami. Roman believes Sami never should have accepted Stefano's offer but it is best they not discuss that. She agrees. But why the warning about Stefano? Roman updates her on the attempt on Marlena's life, how he has been threatening Hope, John, and Bo too. He soon perceives she has no idea what Stefano has been up to. Kate cautiously whispers he has been particularly vindictive and thanks him for the heads up. She appreciates his concern. Roman looks her in the eye. "I do still care about you!" She is one of the most beautiful women he has ever known, and yet there is all that history they could not forget. Kate adds there is also the Sami factor. Roman agrees, yet hopes she knows where to find him if she ever needs a friend or a favor. Kate thanks him and notes that Stefano does need to be taught a lesson about mistreating others. Roman watches her flounce out, grinning like a schoolboy. - At the safe house, Rafe suddenly tells Carrie to stop, not to open the door, for the green light is flickering. Rafe presses it and then the red one blinks as well. Marlena wonders what is wrong. Rafe assumes it is a glitch in the system. John frowns. Rafe opens the control panel. Explosives have been wired to the alarm system so no one can touch the door! They could be blown all the way to Alamania! Bo and John have a closer look. Bo explains why the light is blinking and warns if they open the door or even the windows are opened, the bomb explodes. Hope adds it could probably also be triggered by a remote as well! John attempts to call ISA Spencer but the communication lines have been blocked! Carrie starts to have a panic attack. The gang reassure her they will manage to take care of the situation, but do they really believe it ...?! - EJ stares at the letter as Stefano enters the mansion. "Is is true? I'm not your son." The phoenix asks where he found it. Precisely where he hid it. Tragic violin music is heard as EJ laments this is what he found too hard to say. He is not his son. Stefano dramatically places a hand on his heart and woefully shakes his head. No, he is not his son. EJ sighs his life has been a lie! Now it all makes sense. Stefano claims what he was doing really was a test of his character. He only learned he was not his son the night of the re-election. EJ frowns all he has done since then is because he is not his son. The phoenix confesses he could not bring himself to do anything to tell him. EJ now asks who his real father is. He owes him at least that much. Stefano admits he does not know and has not known any of this for long. EJ asks who knew first. The phoenix sighs. "Alice Horton!" He fills him in on how Alice helped get him medical assistance when he was ill as a baby and thus discovered the truth. She kept it a secret in the safety deposit box. It was in a sealed envelope which was read by no one. EJ hopes Bo and Hope do not know, given that they also had access to said security deposit box. Stefano is certain that only he knows the truth. EJ glumly notes he is not a DiMera. Chad is not his brother, and Lexie is not his sister. He feels alone in the world. "Why would you keep something like this from me?" Stefano explains ... - Back at the pub, Kayla appreciates Roman telling her about John, Marlena, Bo, and Hope being moved to the safe house. Roman is monitoring the situation ... - Kate walks in on Sami and Lucas, who have just made love and are kissing and gasping about how good they are together. She reacts ...
