He is there to say goodnight to the kids and notes she is back from her business trip. She sighs there was a change in plans and nurses her wine. He wonders WOT she means. She suggests he go upstairs as the kids are almost asleep. EJ later comes back downstairs to Sami, who is not sure what to do next in her life. She sighs Kate is out to destroy her! EJ is all ears. He would rather not get involved in her business problems with Kate, though. Kayla asks if everything is alright. It is and EJ orders a bottle of that wine Sami is drinking. Kayla goes to fetch it. Sami is perplexed. He assures her whatever it is with Kate, it will blow over. He brings up the mole that has Kate so frazzled and suggests Sami find out who the rat is to make her happy. Sami says nothing. EJ stares. "Oh my God! It's you!" She adds it was Madison's idea. EJ thinks she was out of her mind! Sami is desperate as Kate has threatened to press charges. She wants advice from lawyer EJ. Kayla returns with the wine and would like to know if Sami would like some chowder. Sami snaps she is fine, no food necessary, and keeps drinking. Kayla steps away. Sami asks EJ what she should do. He thinks she needs to calm down. But what about her case? He has no idea, as he presently does not have the specifics. She needs a criminal lawyer. He knows who will do it for her at the best price. Who? He replies his name is "Elvis, God help him!" Their conversation soon gets extremely personal and revealing ... - Diva Kate is at the town square looking gorgeous in purple against the night lights. She unhappily remembers Stefano's secret file on Marlena and leaves another desperate message for him. She coos she loves him and yearns to hear from him. - In Alamania, prisoner John exclaims he cannot believe he is Stefano's errand boy again! He reminds dubious Hope the old man is calling the shots so their loves ones remain safe. Hope laments they have agreed to let him control them. John sighs what else could they have done? Hope thinks that their loved ones are damned either way. - Ian has arranged a fancy private dinner at the town square cafe for two important fashion editors and other industry heavies. Madison is glum in her little black dress. She is stunned when guest number one arrives - tis none other than Brady! They give each other a longing look. - Mel and Chad are out and about when a blonde groupie asks the male model to sign her shirt. Gabi watches. Mel frowns. Chad is sorry. Mel notes it is the price of fame. Chad wonders where Will is. The gang are off to meet the fashion editors ... - Replay of Will informing Marlena he thinks he might be gay. Marlena airily asks is that it? He repeats he might be gay and stammers about kissing Neil ... Marlena assures him it is alright, just like the Lady Gaga song he told her about says. It is nothing to be ashamed of. It is a cause for celebration! Will stares. He now adds he did not say he is necessarily sure he is gay, then elaborates. He does not want grandma Caroline and others trying to save him from damnation. How could a Brady be gay? Marlena suspects he would not be the first. She now decides to cancel attending the dinner party at which she is supposed to represent Basic Black. Will quips she should keep her appointment. He himself was supposed to meet his friends. He takes off ... - Elegant Kate and Marlena join host Ian at the fancy dinner party. Madison and Brady stand nearby as Ian opens a bottle of expensive champagne for a toast. Kate remarks Marlena was late. Marlena explains she ran into Will. Kate insists she too wants the best for him. Marlena already knows. Kate soon introduces her company's hot new faces - Chad and Gabi - to the fashion heavies. Mel watches as they wrongly assume Chad and Gabi are an item! Meanwhile Kate is still keeping an angry eye on Stefano's Queen of the Night. - Chad, Mel, and Gabi later meet up with Will at the Coffee House. Party girl Gabi suggests they go clubbing. Chad places an arm around Mel and drawls they are going back to his place. Gabi flashes back to hiding her earring under his pillow and smirks she hopes they will have a great time! The couple leave together. - Back at the fashion gathering, Brady has been drinking heavily. He slurs to Marlena that Madison does not look like a woman in love. Marlena believes she does appear to be in love - but not with Ian. Ian announces dinner is served. He has placed Madison in a seat between himself and Brady. Brady drinks and places Madison's napkin on her lap when it falls. She is quietly apprehensive. Ian makes a mini-speech. They are all competitors wanting to win. He proposes a toast to attaining one's heart's desire, though it is evident he is not referring to business. The guests sip the champagne. Kate toys with her glass and glares suspiciously at Marlena. Ian now has another announcement to make and it concerns Madison ... - Chad surprises Mel at his pad with wine and candlelight. She thinks he went to too much trouble He wonders if there is something she is not telling him. She gulps indeed there is. - John gives Hope a pep talk. They must be strong. Hope suddenly yells through the bars that unless Stefano proves her husband is alive, she is not doing anything . She wants to see her husband now! John reasons with Hope that she would have noticed it in Marlena's eyes if Bo had died. And they did see the live feed, which showed her walking around like things were normal. Hope is still worried. John insists they must do what Stefano wants to keep Bo and Marlena alive. Hope fears if they lose their free will by becoming Gina and the Pawn again, they might never get it back! - Mel admits to Chad that she is not used to feeling jealous, but the b*tch with the shirt made her see red. Gabi has such chemistry with him, plus that top fashion industry guy was eyeing him. She plops on the bed and sighs Gabi looks like she is madly in love with him. Chad confesses he is madly in love with only her and he wants them to be together. Melanie swoons as they kiss. Shirtless Chad is soon on top of her (she is in her bra) in his bed.
