SPIES AND SECRETS!
- Late man Dan meets Billie at the pub for coffee. The mood is light. They talk self-defense and he brings up mama Kate warning him to stay away from her daughter. Billie thinks he shouldn't worry about it. He understands if she would rather not be seen with him, but Billie cares
not what Kate thinks. That having been said, she would now rather have
a beer. Dan is all for it. Ring ring! Billie gets a clandestine phone call ...
- Kate continues her discussion with mortified Will at the trendy coffee house. She does not think he should feel embarrassed about anything.
She has been aware of his secret for a long time. Will pretends he has no idea what she means and adds she must be mistaken. Kate just wanted him to know how much she loves and supports him. She does not care what his sexual orientation is. She was hoping they could go somewhere private and talk. Will claims he indeed has to go talk to someone in private, though it is not her, and bolts. Lucas soon returns to confront mama Kate about tormenting BFF Sami. He argues she is a wreck and is not at all happy she threatened her with prison and the loss of custody of her kids. She should have just fired her instead! Kate is suspicious that
he did not appear to be surprised when he heard from her that Sami was the mole. He admits he already knew. He chose not to say anything as Sami had already decided to quit Mad World for real. She accuses him
of siding with Sami against her yet again. Lucas suspects it still bothers
her that they were involved once upon a time. Kate fears Sami is getting close to him all over again and decides to cause as much trouble for the b*tch as possible!
- ISA Agent Spencer is standing outside and requests an immediate meeting with Billie. It is urgent!
- Rafe drops by Nicole's room to pick up his wallet. She notices his glum demeanor and wonders what happened. He informs her of his decision to divorce Sami. Nicole is stunned and sympathetic and gets him a beer. She promises him he will be fine. They both will. She is curious how Sami took the news. She didn't at first, though he suspects she will move on with her next male target before long ...
- Still in Carrie's office, Austin repeats he never slept with Abigail and
she confirmed it today. Where do they go from here? Carrie confesses
she cannot get over feeling angry. He just wants a second chance and waits for her answer. Carrie admits she lost her faith in him. He reminds her that Abigail is not to blame for all their problems. She agrees. It still bothers her that after he believed he had slept with his student, he kept it from her. He knows, but he just wanted to save their marriage ...
- In the land of Alamania, once captive John realizes that Stefano's thug
is still tailing his beloved Marlena, he drawls to call him off. He will do whatever he asks of him, provided the phoenix leave doc alone AND provided he let Hope go to Bo - in Salem! Stefano growls that would not be possible, for he requires both of their services for this mission. John growls then they have no deal! But if he harms a single hair on the blonde's head, he will hunt him down and kill him! Hope insists she will help, as they do not really have much of a choice. She intends to stay
and undertake the mission with him. Stefano appears pleased with the response.
- Nicole tries to make Rafe feel better by suggesting he move on for real, with an honest girl. He agrees and so he will go update Carrie. Now that they are both getting divorced, there will be no need to hide how they really feel about each other. Nicole refers to Carrie as a lucky girl. Once Rafe departs, she looks disappointed.
- Marlena runs into Will at the town square and perceives something is bothering him. Would he like to talk? He starts to tell her about Sonny
and Lucas and then Kate, but changes his mind about continuing.
Marlena believes it is best to continue this discussion! Sometimes if one hides one's feelings, it can cause one hurt and she does not want that for him. She gently encourages him to be true to himself.
- Billie excuses herself to Dan, who agrees to reschedule their casual coffee/beer date another time. A man emerges from the shadows outside. Tis the elusive Spencer, who explains the ISA wants as much as possible from her on Stefano DiMera, so they can finally lock him up! He regrets Agent Walsh got killed before John and Hope could be assisted out of Alamania. Spencer suspects EJ's involvement in dark DiMera matters, particularly the setup of John Black. Therefore, her next assignment is
to move into the mansion and gather as much intel as possible. They are anxious to get the DiMera case closed. ISA spy Billie blanches at the thought of living at the DiMera mansion, under the same roof as ...
Kate!
- Meanwhile, in the land of Alamania, Stefano gives John and Hope the details of their secret mission. They must go back to a time when they lived not as themselves, but as glamorous Princess Gina and her trained assassin/thief/partner in crime the Pawn. Then they must retrieve the Faberge egg they once stole for him but never delivered! He holds up a picture of the egg though they have no memory of the piece or the theft. Stefano considers. Drastic times call for drastic measures! He has an expert who will be able to make them go back as Gina and the Pawn. Hope thinks that is crazy. The phoenix warns he WILL get what he wants!
- Dr. Dan checks on his secret patient Nicole. He is concerned she will
not be able to get through this pregnancy and stressful time alone. She assures him she has Rafe supporting and looking after her, too ...
- Rafe ventures to Carrie's office and overhears her intense discussion with Austin. Carrie agrees that her perception is different now that she knows Abigail lied about their affair. Austin assumes that all is well and embraces his wife. Rafe quietly walks away before he is seen. He is gone by the time Carrie quips she cannot change the feelings she now has regardless and leave Austin standing alone ...
- Kate is alone at DiMera mansion leaving another message for Stefano. She hopes he will call soon. The thug who was tailing Marlena arrives at the door with a delivery for the phoenix. Butler Harold is nowhere to be seen, so Kate accepts it. Once the thug is gone, she opens the delivery
and is shocked to find a detailed file on Marlena, with photographs!
- Will laments to Marlena that his feelings will not go away no matter
how hard he tries. He now announces he thinks he might be gay!
