CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER!
- In the land of Alamania, John is not intimidated by Stefano's gun toting thug. He reasons the phoenix needs to keep his two prisoners alive in order to do his bidding. Stefano upsets Hope by admitting he was responsible for what happened to Bo. If one does not cooperate with Stefano DiMera, there will be consequences! Hope rages and curses at him for what he did. The phoenix again warns that there will be dire consequences and taunts them with a picture of Marlena. He knows exactly where she is at any moment of the day and proves it ...
- In Salem, Will saunters into the coffee house and apologizes to Sonny
for missing the grand opening. He praises the look of the establishment. Sonny offers him a lifetime free coffee card. He teases him by hiding it behind his back. They playfight. Enter Lucas in time to witness the friendly, flirtatious exchange between the two guys. He compliments the place. When Sonny gets back to work, clueless Lucas wants a word with Will. He warns him that others might misunderstand him horsing around like that with Sonny Kiriakis, given that he is gay. Will is amused. Lucas points out he has nothing against gay folk, but they get treated like second class citizens by some people. Will thinks he sounds just like Roman!
- Sami insists she is no mole, but Kate insists she has evidence! She eventually wears her down into admitting she was a corporate spy for Madison, but she quit a long time ago. Now she is loyal to team Kate and hopes the boss lady understands that. She wonders if she called the cops. Kate quips she has not done that - not yet. Now Sami will have to
squirm. Kate leers she is going to go after all she holds dear, including
her precious children!
- Rafe enters the empty loft. He woefully stares at a family photograph. Marlena appears and notes he must miss Sami. He does not deny it. She gently suggests he forgive her but that is easier said than done. She destroyed their family and loves herself more than anyone! He feels the time might have come to move on ...
- Outside, Carrie also overhears Abigail confess that she was wrong. She was wrong to let Austin believe they had slept together when it was in
fact nothing but a fabrication, a story she invented! Carrie is shocked. So are Jack and Jen. Abigail confirms she lied. Jack wants to know how it happened. She explains they had kissed when he was drunk and then he passed out in his office, but that was all. Jen wonders if she is just lying now in order to protect Austin. She warns her daughter there could be other students he took advantage of. Abigail becomes exasperated. Carrie is disgusted that Abigail sidled up to her for advice when what she really wanted was to steal her husband! Jack and Jen watch the scene unfold. Abigail goes on to confess that she always knew Austin loved only Carrie and he has done nothing wrong. Carrie slaps her hard and calls her a
b*tch. Ouch!
- After her bad day at work, Sami returns home to the loft, surprised to see Rafe. Her bad day is going to get worse. Rafe has decided he wants
to move on. He declares their marriage is over!
She wants them to talk about this. Rafe is unable to get past the fact that she cheated on him with a man who tried to ruin their love. She is not the girl he thought she was! She destroyed everything by sleeping with EJ. She begs him for another chance. He lectures her for all the lies. If only she had told him the truth! He intends to stay in the kids lives' but suggests she get herself a divorce lawyer to make it as quick and painless as possible ...
- Will dismisses Lucas' worries and gets himself a beverage. Kate approaches Lucas and warns him that Sami will be desperate to reach him, as she just found out she was the mole and plans to annihilate her. Lucas argues that Kate was underhanded with Madison, so they are
even. Kate vows to get the kids away from Sami. Lucas suggests she inform Will that he had to go because of HER and takes off to do some damage control.
- Jack advises Carrie to keep her hands off his daughter. Jen explains
they had no idea what was going on. Carrie rages Abigail is a pathological liar and her OBSESSION broke up her marriage. Austin cannot believe she could have sunk so low. Abigail wishes she could make things right. Austin laments her lies have cost him everything. He goes after Carrie. They end up at the office. She is in tears. He hopefully asks if they have
a chance now that the truth has come out ...
- Kate has joined Will at the coffee house and brings up what Lucas told him about being perceived as gay with Sonny. She adds it hit close to home. Will is stunned. Kate adds he has no need to worry, for his secret
is safe with her!
- John growls at Stefano to leave his wife alone as they watch live feed
of her at the town square. The phoenix assures him he would never harm
the Queen of the Night. They watch on the TV monitor as a strange man approaches her with a rose.
- Lucas catches up with Sami. She complains about her bad day. Lucas wants to help ...
- Marlena politely refuses to accept the stranger's rose. She is a married woman. But he keeps following her as Stefano taunts John about the
clear and present danger she is presently in ...!
