BUSTED!
- In the land of Alamania, worried Hope is attempting to phone home.
She is desperate to speak to Bo. John is worried about doc, too, and thinks they should keep trying to reach their significant others. Hope wonders if they should play along with Stefano, but John is not so sure that would be wise. He must first get to the bottom of what the phoenix really wants. Hope now regrets ever opening that box back in Salem. If she hadn't, Bo would not be lying in a hospital bed! John hopes she is wrong about that. He also hopes Stefano is not going to do something
sinister to Marlena ...
- Meanwhile Stefano has very precise orders for one of his thugs and timing will be of the essence! He must catch the dynamic duo by
surprise, for they are worthy opponents. And he wants an update as
soon as the mission has been accomplished ...
- Austin is sitting alone outside. Abigail appears and he wants a word. Abigail apologizes for causing so much trouble for her favorite professor. He laments he should have told Carrie the truth, though that is not what he wanted to say. He feels badly about EJ having mama Jen arrested.
It must have been a setup! Abigail shares the sentiment and is moved that he cares. They each blame themselves for what happened between them. Austin thinks he should have known better, as she is so young. Abigail,
on the other hand, would rather blame herself, as she knew exactly what she was doing. When he claims he ruined their friendship because of one bad night, she insists he stop!
- Jack has just bailed poor little Jen out of jail. He has taken her to the
pub for some nourishment. Jen hugs him in gratitude. In the pub, they go over what happened. Turns out Abe is still in jail. Jen insists they did not try and fix the election, as Mayor EJ claimed. Spunky Jen is determined
to get proof that they were set up by EJ. Jack is in! Jen fears he will do something dangerous, but new improved Jack explains that he now looks before he leaps. Jen's thoughts return to how much it meant that he was there for her when she needed him, unlike all those other times. She is truly touched.
- Rafe has some soup for Nicole. She thanks him for being with her all night. He assures her that he will continue to keep her secret. Nicole is suspicious and demands to know what he is really up to! She remembers how he used her before to get information. Rafe does not deny it, but he promises he just wants to help. She is not looking for a babysitter. She warns him that EJ believes they are having an affair. Tough guy Rafe is not fussed about it. She points out that Sami will also hear about their presumed affair. Rafe vaguely drawls that his life is no longer any of her business! Nicole softens and invites him to get some fresh air with her, though she is not keen on the soup. Rafe takes her to the pub for a bite
to eat. She is enjoying her sandwich - until he mentions EJ. He wants to know how she feels about the run-in they had with him. Nicole admits
she is frustrated, angry, and humiliated. She mentions Sami. Rafe admits he should have heeded everyone's warnings about the girl who seems to attract scandal and deceit. Who knew it was all true and she really was
her own worst enemy ...
- Frazzled Sami is late for work. Boss lady Kate notices. Kate decides to confront her right then and there about her deep, dark secrets. Sami has a flashback of Kate getting her involved in the mole investigation. She plays innocent and insists she has done nothing wrong and certainly has no secrets. Kate, however, indicates she has a very damning folder! Sami continues to play innocent. Kate calls her a LIAR! She has not found the mole like she promised. Sami appears relieved and states she would still require more time. Kate quips she is out of time. She demands to know who the mole is. She taunts her for protecting someone ...
- John has his guard down in the hallway. Stefano’s thug suddenly injects him and renders him unconscious. Hope suffers the same fate ...
- Austin informs Abigail that they should keep their distance. She refuses to listen and exclaims she wants to discuss the night they made love. Just then Jack and Jen happen by. They are aghast. Jen wants her to repeat what she said! Jack sincerely hopes they were joking. Austin apologizes. Jen prevents Jack from attacking the man who broke his daughter's heart. He accuses him of deceiving him and taking advantage of his students. Obsessed Abigail interrupts. She is an adult who makes her own choices. She wants her parents to back off. Jen lets her know that they have no intention of doing any such thing! Austin is very sorry and tells the tale
of how he had too much to drink after a fight with Carrie. Jack gets even madder. Jen is utterly disgusted. She will report his conduct unbecoming to the university. Abigail jumps to his defense and insists she is the one to blame! She finally blurts out that there was no affair between them.
She invented the whole thing!
- Nicole assures Rafe that many other men have experienced disaster
with Sami. He is not the first and should not be hard on himself. She
sighs that she was foolish enough to believe EJ when he said he had changed. She has had it with bad boys. Unfortunately, no good guy will
be interested in a pregnant lady. She adds that Rafe is a nice guy and he deserves to be happy again, too. He eventually sees her home and lets
her know he is there for her if ever she needs anything ...
- John and Hope regain consciousness in a prison of sorts. Smug Stefano appears on a monitor. He wants a word with his two best players in the game. John is not interested. The thug comes back with a gun. Hope wonders what the phoenix wants from them. He threatens to have them both killed if they do not do his bidding like the old days ...
- Sami explains to Kate that Madison dislikes her. Kate already is aware
of that and suspects their discord was originally a setup. She leers she knows Sami tried to ruin her but now she will ruin Sami cos she was the mole and she has now been BUSTED!
