LANGUAGE OF LOVE - Part 2 - Mel suggests loverboy Chad change his sheets next time he wants a seduction scene and takes off in a huff. - Ian declares that he has created a foundation in his beloved Madison's name. A portion of their profits will be used to help young girls in underprivileged areas realize their dreams. The guests all applaud, clearly impressed. Brady suddenly staggers to his feet and slurs he too has an announcement to make about their host's wife! She is who and where she is because of herself and not Ian! Madison tries to stop him. Ian thinks she should let him continue, waiting for the train wreck to come. Brady starts to yell at him to leave her alone and go back to wherever he came from ... Madison stands up and snaps it is enough. Brady stares at her, his eyes filled with hurt. - Marlena follows Brady and lectures him for making a fool of himself and placing Basic Black in jeopardy. Most guests have left the table. Madison snaps at Ian that this was not about business and storms off. Kate whispers they seem to have the same problem. The people they are with love someone else. She knows Stefano is still obsessed with Marlena, as he is tracking her every move. She wonders why she is even telling him this. Ian mutters in her heart of hearts, she still knows that he loves her in a way Stefano never could! He claims he came back to town for Kate and not Madison. She just gets more and more beautiful! Kate murmurs she wanted that more than anything once upon a time but he preferred Madison, just as now she prefers Stefano. He reminds her Stefano wants Marlena. She insists she will care of his Queen of the Night. Ian roguishly drawls when she is ready, he will still be waiting. Flustered Kate stands up and walks away ... - Madison finds Brady and Marlena. Marlena discreetly gives them their privacy. Madison is sorry she did not let Brady go when he wanted to. He drawls he would not have left without her and grabs her. They kiss passionately. She pulls away. They cannot do this. If they are together, he will lose everything including his father's company! - Gabi and Will walk outside and he asks about the deal with Chad. She changes the subject. Why does EJ pay his rent and also buy him such an expensive car? He grins it is a perk of the job. She is suspicious he really likes working for EJ. Will admits he did not at first. However, it turned out much better than he had expected. He has almost everything he wants. But not quite. Gabi proposes he needs to have a woman around! Will is intrigued. What exactly does she have in mind? She has decided not to do things by the book. Too boring. Will can relate. Gabi is now all about bending the rules. She wants Will to teach her how she got EJ to do things for him. They can help each other. Marlena happens along and Will pretends he and Gabi are still busy painting the town together so he cannot chat. Marlena appears surprised. - Sami scoffs and alludes to not trusting EJ, who explains he wants the mother of his children to have a life that is not a mess. Sami sighs if not for EJ, she would have Rafe to help her, but he just wants a divorce! Rafe is letting her stay at the loft, but she will eventually need to find a place she can afford on her own. Unless she is in jail! EJ thinks this does not sound like her. She is not one to give up so easily. Sami quips she also has problems thanks to Carrie, who has set her sights on Rafe! EJ pours more wine. He calls himself and Samantha unique. She laughs that is a good way to describe them. He remarks they both think they are the center of the universe. Sami is still embarrassed about their fling. Only they would do such a thing! She wonders if he is really happy with Nicole. He was indeed. She laments they always blow it. He adds he signed the divorce papers and she is filing them. They drink up. Sami sighs what were they thinking. He points out they thought they lost their son. Sami does not comprehend why they dealt with it by ripping at each others' clothes, like they could not leave each other alone. EJ considers. He murmurs she is not alone and gazes at her.Sami asks what he means. Because of the kids? EJ now forces a smile and pretends that was all he meant. She complains about Will not talking to her. She gets choked up as she recalls she took the job with Kate so she could support her family. Now she does not have that or Rafe. EJ promises her that she will get through this. He places a strong hand on hers and advises her to keep being herself. She will be just fine, he says softly ... END |
