When he is about to go back in the coffee house, he runs into Marlena, who is there for a latte on her way work. Brady stops her from entering. What is in here she should not see? Dad, cos they were having breakfast together and might be on the verge of a breakthrough. Marlena wonders about Brady’s first night with the DiMeras. He notes it was … comfortable. She makes a comment about Kristen, bids him a good day, and takes her leave. Inside Kristen strokes John’s hand and teases he can only get to Brady through her. He meets her bold gaze and drawls he can deal with it. Brady walks back inside and watches them. John informs Kristen he is ready to show how serious he is too! Brady suspiciously rejoins them as they laugh. John announces he would like to say something to both of them, He was caught unawares by their togetherness and suavely suggests a start over. Time to bury the hatchet. Kristen smiles and touches her hair. Brady suspiciously wonders what he has in mind. Dinner tonight. And Marlena? Just with him and them, the three of them. Kristen thinks it sounds fun. John proceeds to contact his assistant on the phone so arrangements can be made. Kristen gives the guys their space and exits. John thanks Brady for agreeing. Brady wonders what prompted his sudden effort. Outside, Kristen talks to herself. What is that John up to now? She finds the whole mystery rather delicious. - Sami wonders if EJ is actually serious! Yes, he is. Sami realizes he wants to live together with her and the children under one roof. They kiss on the lips. Rafe walks by and gets an eyeful. EJ grins triumphantly, stars in his eyes. Rafe is clad in his black suit, on his way to Gabi’s wedding. He hopes the kids will be left in peace. Sami suddenly jumps up and insists he must know what that Nick has done! Rafe is interested. EJ intervenes by pretending to be indignant about some things Nick has been saying . Rafe points out his sister almost lost the baby so things were said that probably should not have been said. He heads for the wedding. Sami is miffed EJ stepped in but he claims he was averting a disaster. Sami now asks if he is really serious about moving into the mansion after what his father has done to him! They approach the town square and get close, discussing. Sami muses Stefano is still a psychotic monster. EJ explains they would not be alone, for Kristen and Brady have just moved into the mansion togetha. Sami exclaims that cow is not living with her brother in that mansion! EJ assures her it is true. Sami flat out refuses to live with a woman who tried to kill her mother. EJ makes light of it and insists she changed. And they could end up related. Sami grumbles her moving in would be a disaster. EJ reminds her it would be for William. Sami sits him down and informs him if she says no, then neither of them will move in, despite what Stefano might order. EJ looks into her blue eyes, mesmerized. - Elegant Hope is at Horton house with Jen, ready for a wedding. She tries to give her cousin a pep talk about her love life but Jen gasps she cannot think about it now. - Gabi is unable to stop Nick from entering her room and seeing the bride in her wedding dress. It brings bad luck! Nick the notorious, however, is feeling mighty invincible. He boasts March 15 will go down in history as the day he married the love of his life. Meanwhile, his former cell mate and enemy Vargas does pushups in prison and grins this will be the first day of the rest of his life. He flashes back to leering one day he would get his revenge on Nicky. That day is coming ... - At the rectory, Fathers Eric informs Father Matt - aka John Walton - that Vargas is being released today. Matt notes the room is ready for him. Nicole walks in and snaps they are out of their minds. When Matt is gone, she expresses her fears for Eric’s safety and warns they will be robbed by the new boarder too. Eric has faith. Nicole begs him not to let the prisoner move into their happy rectory. “What if he hurts you?” Eric murmurs nothing will happen. Nicole insists she knows more about ex cons and reminds him she too was in prison. He remembers and had hoped she would therefore have compassion Nicole explains she hopes the man changes. However, she does not think he wants to as she does not believe in such miracles. Eric points out a miracle worked for her. She gasps she cannot lose him. Father Eric uncomfortably excuses himself. Nicole gets an idea. - At Horton house, suited Rafe arrives and assures Hope he is there to show his support for his sister marrying Nick. But he still does have a nagging feeling. Hope wonders what Rafe’s bad feeling is about. Knock knock! The bride and groom arrive. Smiles all around. The justice of the peace is not yet present. Nick asks for a moment with Rafe so Hope takes Gabi to admire the flowers. Nick states his parents were married in this house. He goes on to praise Tom and Alice and the meaning of family. He assures Rafe he is his family now, his brother. Rafe wishes him only the best and embraces him. Nick promises to give Gabi a wonderful life. Meanwhile, Jen and Hope are with Gabi and Jen presents her with something new from Nick’s mom. Now there is a gift from Hope and Jen – a bracelet that once belonged to matriarch Alice. It is something borrowed and might belong to Gabi’s daughter one day. Gabi feels blessed. Nick walks in and grins blessed was how he felt the day he met her. Rafe is impressed that Nick wants to do right by his sister. The justice of the peace arrives and they begin. As Nick and Gabi exchange their vows, Vargas is getting dressed, ready to be released ... - At the town square, as Sami gets seductively closer and closer, EJ murmurs he does not take orders from his fatha. He will not go anywhere without her or the children. She gushes it is good to know. He now suggests Will should go and mend some fences with Stefano to set the stage for the favor. The phone reminds him he has a meeting. Sami wishes he did not have to go and kisses him. He thanks her and asks her to think of what to do. It is her decision and he promises to support whatever it is she decides. Exit EJ. Sami now starts to imagine her scandalous life at the illustrious house of DiMera ...
