Episode 12,044 - Sleeping beauty Will wakes up and answers the phone. Tis mama Sami. She is checking in from the town square. Sami is pumped and ready for action. Did he not get her messages? Sleepy Will has not felt much like talking and is mad only with himself. Sami insists everything is her fault and she will fix this. Creepy Nick cannot keep him from his daughter. Will hopes she will stay out of it. She spies EJ and repeats she will handle it. Will wants to talk her out if it. Click! Sami has ended the call. Sonny approaches the bed and asks what his mom did now. Will sighs she is gonna make things worse! Sonny sits by him in his dark robe and advises him to think of a cover story to convince people why he signed over his parental rights to Nick. It will come out sooner rather than later. Will believes it will be a hard sell. Sonny assures him at least he knows the truth. Will did what he had to in order to protect his family from the bigot blackmailer. Will is down on himself for not taking responsibility in the first place. Meanwhile, Sami sits with EJ and states they must find a way to help Will. EJ agrees, then gets to an important matter. “My father has moved back to Salem.” Sami learns he was back already yesterday, in fact. EJ explains he had hoped he would change his mind about returning. Sami is further upset when he admits he want to see him last night and accuses him of keeping secrets from her! He suggests she is overreacting. His fatha shall have no impact on them whatsoeva. She hated his influence on him. So did he. Sami exclaims but he is the one man who could help her son and he did not let her know he was coming back to town! EJ gives her a strange look and hopes she does not intend to get him involved. Sami is ready and willing to deal with the devil, though she would not request anything as extreme as a hit. EJ wearily wonders what then. She talks how Stefano is said to have a man on the inside of the Salem PD. He could help them with that unpleasant evidence problem! - In bed with his future bride, shirtless Nick admires the bling ring he just got her with his hefty salary. She thinks it was not necessary but he wanted the bling ring to show she is taken! They are excited about this, their wedding day. Nick grins and kisses her tummy. He announces the baby will be named Arianna Grace Fallon. She nods, then shares that she feels badly not inviting Will to the wedding. He had come by yesterday and almost told her something, then made up something and took off. Concerned Gabi wants to call him but Nick stops her. This is her day. And so the pregnant bride goes to shower. Meanwhile, Will and Sonny sit and discuss the predicament Nick has left Will in. Will thinks he can always say he thought his daughter could use a stable family environment, hence his decision. Sonny points out there would still be questions from grandmothers and later, his daughter will want to know why. Ring ring! Will frowns it is a text from Nick, who wishes to see him. Sonny is extremely suspicious. Will stands up in his undershirt and gestures in confusion. Sonny reminds him Nick is getting married today. Will adds he already gave him what he wants. He now suggests Gabi might have said he wanted to tell her something yesterday and so Nick came clean. Sonny warns him Nick would spin it and Gabi would buy his tall tale. Therefore, he should tell him to take the meeting and shove it! Will the idealist is hoping for something better, hugs Sonny, and goes to get dressed. Sonny stares. He has a feeling this will not end well. - In bed, Rafe gets a call from the station. Kate kisses his shirtless chest in the bed as he listens to the surprising news. Kate hopes it was not bad. Rafe sighs it is Stefano. He is back! Kate freezes. Rafe gets concerned and asks if she is alright. Kate insists she is fine, just surprised. How does she feel about it? She could not give a damn about him. However, he is now here. “Maybe we should think about ending this.” She alludes to the fact that there could be danger for Rafe from the possessive phoenix. Shirtless Rafe grins he is not scared and actually likes the idea of him being driven insane by their togetherness. Kate touches his face and purrs he is either crazy or a fool. He drawls a bit of both perhaps and they kiss passionately. After the lovin, Rafe explains he wants to see Gabi before the wedding. Kate wants to come with as she has a gift for the girl. Rafe is impressed and praises her generosity. - Kristen enjoys breakfast in the living room with Stefano. Brady is still asleep. Suited Stefano is tickled pink about her brilliant plan for John and Marlena. Brady saunters in with a purple shirt and hugs stylish Kristen. But she is none too pleased to learn he is joining John Black for breakfast! She follows him into the foyer and sweetly asks about it. Brady updates her on his open attitude, his father’s new willingness to try and accept her. She offers to come for moral support. Brady assures her he will not succeed in convincing him to give her up. She admits she was insecure. Brady suggests she give them time alone and then show up. She puts her arms around him and agrees. He asks for about 45 minutes one on one with his da. They seal the deal with a kiss. Kristen walks back to elegant Stefano, who warns John is trying to outmaneuver her. She snaps it will not work. The phoenix thinks she should have anticipated John fighting back. The doorbell rings and Kristen screams she is coming before opening the DiMera door … to Chad in his leather jacket. He wonders if it is a bad time. - John is sitting at the coffee house, awaiting Brady. He sees an article about Kristen in the newspaper concerning the pediatric wing and flashes back to his conversation with Brady. He now crumples the article with a powerful hand. Brady soon joins him at his table. He hopes he is not working him about Kristen. John explains he did a lot of thinkin while gone and does not want him out of his life. He understands Kristen has become an important part of his life. If he loves her … Brady finishes he does. John murmurs then he gets he has no choice but to accept her. Brady is not so sure he believes his sudden change of heart. - Will arrives at the town square and approaches Nick. Nick demands to know what he was about to tell Gabi yesterday.
