Chloe watches from the bushes. He wonders what the hell! Jen points an irate finger at him and gasps to stay away! He wants to talk but Sailor Moon Jen exclaims she never wants to speak to him ever again and storms off in a huff. Hope appears and calls after her cousin but alas cannot stop her. Dan laments she smacked him. He is hurt she was so extreme and wants nothing to do with him. Hope is flabbergasted as she had said she was ready to try again. Dan notes she is small but strong. His face is still smarting from the slap. Hope wonders what made her so mad. Chloe lurks in the blue shadows, flashing back to her mischief with the sleeping pills and half naked Dan in bed. Dan sits on the bench and admits he has no idea why Jen was so angry. He then remembers Chloe kissing him and confesses he got drunk and it is all fuzzy. Hope gets it. Dan argues he did nothing to be slapped for and decides to go to Jen’s place. Still groggy, he staggers on his feet. Hope stops him, for he is in no condition to make it anywhere. She offers to pay her cousin a visit to get her side of the story. She now instructs unsteady Dan to take a cab home and escorts him away to find one. - Sonny is sitting with Will at the coffee house, trying to talk him out of telling Gabi the truth so as to stop her wedding. She will have to learn he shot EJ, hence Nick’s blackmail. Sonny is worried but Will is ready to face the music. Will naively suggests he make Gabi promise not to tell Nick. Sonny fears Gabi will tell all to the homophobic man of her dreams. He does not trust her! Will is aware of it, yet he has no choice but to trust her, given Sonny is not telling him his own reason for mistrusting her. Sonny emphatically points out that if Gabi does not talk,, Nick will still figure it out. Will grins it is nice to have someone who cares and is in his corner. Marlena arrives with a warm greeting. Sonny hopes he will think about what he said and gets back to work. Marlena wonders what is going on and sits with her grandson. He alludes to sometimes needing to own up to things in one’s past. She agrees, though it all sounds rather vague. Will decides to go. Sonny approaches and urges him not to but Will is firm about his decision. It is for his daughter. This concerns the two of them more than anyone. He kisses Sonny and whispers he loves him. Exit idealistic Will. - At the pub, Rafe is concerned Gabi is doing too much, even involved in the planning of her big day. Is she excited? She would be if he confirmed his attendance! He will do everything possible to attend. She thinks that means no and hopes he is not mad. He concedes he did not want her to rush. Perhaps he was wrong. Her being pregnant and getting married was tough to accept, not to mention that he had reservations about Nick, who is not exactly his first choice. However, he sees she loves the guy and he loves her. Rafe concludes he is sorry he made things harder. She hopes that means he will be there. He would not miss it for the world. The wannabe bride throws her arms around him in gratitude. - Suave John jogs by the table at the town square where he sat with Kristen earlier. He stares and flashes back to her bizarre flirtation. A frown creases his brow and he goes on his way. - At the mansion, Kristen promises Stefano he will loooove the end game of John’s destruction. She suddenly adds Brady is essential for her plan to work. Brady frowns as he eavesdrops. The phoenix wonders what she means. She explains without Brady, her life is meaningless. She loves him and wants him to accept him. She sneakily states father should not let her down and gives him a strange look. Stefano plays along, as he seems to have gotten the message. Brady now shows himself and Kristen greets him with a hug and a crooked smile. Stefano exits and Kristen pours the white wine. Lover boy Brady teases he heard what she said about him. She innocently explains she merely wanted to convince father to accept him. Brady assures her Stefano’s attitude will not change his love for her. Nothing will. She gushes she feels the same and kisses him. They enjoy their wine on the couch and she hopes he is enjoying the mansion. He jokes about the characters in the Godfather and praises the grounds, the rooms, and the grand piano. Kristen asks him to play for her. He romantically asks her favorite song. Beautiful Dreamer. Brady gets to it and starts to play in his robe. Kristen listens and gets a faraway look in her eye. When it is over, she is reduced to tears. What is the matter? He remarks his emotional love interest continues to conceal her true feelings from the world. There is much he still yearns to know about her. Ring ring! The office summons Brady with an overseas matter. He kisses her, pleasantly promises to do an encore later, and strolls out. Kristen laments it breaks her heart that she must break his! - Chloe returns to the apartment and excitedly updates Nancy. When she tells her of the Jen slap, Nancy is impressed. Chloe is ready to turn things to her advantage. Nancy is pleased but tired and requests her sleeping pills. Chloe rummages in her trendy leather handbag and exclaims she must have forgotten them in Daniel’s room! Joy turns to horror. Meanwhile, Dan staggers into his room and sits on the bed, the bottle of pills at his feet on the floor. He does not comprehend why he feels so lousy. Back at the apartment, Chloe is in a tizzy. If she asks for the pills back, he will know she slipped them to him! Nancy is not impressed by her sloppiness. Chloe laments she is doomed if Jen finds out! And after how things were left between them, how can she even go back to his room? Nancy grumbles what the hell would she do without her and leaves with her keys. Chloe summons flunky Anne to babysit so she can go deal with Jen. When she is through with that one, she will want to curl up and hide! - Hope arrives at Horton house and asks Jen what is the matter. - Will catches up with Gabi at the pub. “Where’s Nick?” Doing a project upstairs before their big day tomorrow.
