Episode 12,034 - In the confessional, Nicole the parish secretary is prepared to confess her sinful feelings, unaware that Father Eric is the priest listening! What she desires is so wrong! He sweats and listens intently. She will try and explain. He whispers to go ahead and she immediately recognizes his voice. “Eric?” He confirms it is indeed him yes. Nicole is overcome and takes off like a lost lamb. Eric appears disappointed, partly like a priest, partly like a man of mortal flesh … - Chloe complains about being attacked as Abe clears the crowd and Abigail clutches Jen, as she feels sick. Rafe shows up with a cop and asks Chloe for an update. She snaps that girl attacked her. Jen and Abigail are shocked when they find out Abe was the one who called the police! Rafe asks if it is true that Abigail attacked Chloe. Chloe pretends to take the high road and decides they were both at fault. Rafe drawls it is up to her to press charges. She announces she will not press any charges. Daniel thanks her and takes her to the white sofa to sit and rest, as her arm hurts. Meanwhile, apologetic Abigail cries on Jen’s shoulder. - In her hospital bed, Gabi is dreaming of her baby being born, much to her and Nick’s joy. But then Sami snatches her away. Gabi and Nick are powerless. The patient mutters no no in her sleep as Dr. Cam watches… - Sami knows what Gabi did last summer. Nick is not in the least bit intimidated. Lawyer EJ arrives and wants to know wot is going on. Nick claims she cannot threaten to expose Gabi to get her hands on their baby. Sami snaps he threatened Will so she is within her rights to retaliate. EJ calmly asks for a moment. Nick growls to enlighten his girlfriend on the facts. EJ drags Sami out to the town gate, where they will at least not be overheard and warns her of the agreement brotha Chad signed. He could go to jail. Sami realizes Nick knew EJ would talk her out of her threat. So now what?! - Sonny suggests calling his dad for legal help. Lucas suggests they wait and he wishes Will had not told Sonny their secret cos it puts him in a tough position too, having to lie. Lucas has no intention of letting Will give up his child. Will’s eyes are filled with turmoil. He now believes his only hope is to confess to shooting EJ to the authorities. He will do time but still fears Lucas could face perjury. Lucas is not fussed about that. Will now gets a text from Nick, summoning him to another face-to-face. Lucas and Sonny are determined to be there when he faces the bully! - Nick is back in Gabi’s room. He stares ominously at her sleeping and vows to take care of the baby always. He appears to be in some sort of obsessive trance … - At the town square, Abe approaches Jen and Abigail and Jen insists this was not her daughter’s fault. Rafe explains Chloe is not pressing charges but he still needs Abigail’s statement. Nearby Dan helps Chloe with her sore arm and offers to look after Parker for a while. She is happy to hear it and tells him to come over when ready. Distracted Dan slowly returns to Jen. Chloe sighs. Rafe stands up, informs Abigail she is lucky, and steps away. Dan is sorry about what happened. Jen gasps they need to go and ushers her daughter away. Dan anxiously rubs his face. Rafe grins a girlfriend, ex-wife, and kid sure can be complicated. Dan does not deny it. - Nicole is upset in the office when Eric rushes in and explains Matt had a last minute emergency. He wonders about those feelings she mentioned and assures her she can tell him anything. Nicole is sorry she overreacted, yet she was shocked to discover him at the confessional. There are some things she cannot and will not discuss with him, as a priest or as a friend. He sheepishly promises not to push, but adds it was a gratifying moment for him to realize she was on the verge of accepting the church. He now gets a text to attend a meeting about the prisoners outreach program and apologizes again before leaving. Nicole sits down and tells herself that was a close call. Way too close! - Sami wants to tell Gabi what Nick has been up to but EJ stops her from even thinking it. That would only make her ally herself closer to Nick. He sits her down and she moans she was trying to make things right. He understands, smiles, and hugs her. She hangs onto him like a lost child and asks what to do. “Nothing!” says he. - Will saunters into a hospital room with Sonny and Lucas. Nick laughs he brought a posse. Lucas growls what the hell does he want? He son is not gonna waive his rights to his own child, no way in hell! Nick looks from Lucas to Will. He taunts he has got the goods, with his recorded confession, which would be admissible in civil court. Lucas calls him a son of a bitch. Nick chides him for being rude to family. He goes on to list to Will all his family members who will be called to testify. The court will smell a cover-up, since Roman was the commissioner. Will suggests he will turn himself in for shooting EJ, as he suspects that is what Nick intends to do. Enter hurricane Sami, with EJ at her side. “Over my dead body!” - Jen takes Abigail home and she is sorry. Jen wants to know what Chloe dared to say about the late Jack. That he was not yet cold in his grave and she was pimping her mom out to Daniel. Jen gasps and cries. That was cruel and unconscionable. Abigail still thinks she should have walked away from Chloe the shallow creature. Jen gathers she was defending her father. Abigail laments he would not have approved but Jen thinks he would be impressed how she has stood by her mom. She is proud to have her in her corner! They embrace. Jen feels her dad would be proud too! Chloe, she believes, is desperate to win Dan back. Abigail drinks her tea and wonders how that woman can live with herself. She regrets losing her cool and especially regrets that Cameron will hear about this. Abe was a witness! Jen suggests she tell Cam the whole story. If he has a heart, he will understand her reaction. Pretty Abigail suddenly decides she must speak with him in person, grabs her stylish leather jacket and handbag, and takes her leave in a hurry. - Rafe enters his sister's hospital room. Dr. Cam assures him she is fine but needs to take care of herself. He thinks she is lucky to have a brother like him and exits. Gabi wakes up and groggily complains about her Sami nightmare. Rafe frowns darkly. She laments it was awful. He reminds her that Sami has no power here so why give her any? Gabi sighs Nick said the same. Rafe quips he is a smart guy. They both have her best interest at heart. - Dan arrives at the apartment as Chloe plays with Parker, who has just had a nap. Parker is pumped. Dan asks what really happened. Chloe purses her painted lips and explains she went to tell Abigail why she was staying at his place, then Abigail flipped. Dan is surprised. Chloe insists she wants to forget the incident. She informs him the nanny she wanted took another job but she has a great idea. Dan stares. He picks up Parker and plays with his giggling boy. Chloe suggests her mama Nancy could come and stay with her and Parker for a few weeks. She has been dying to see him. Dan agrees to think about it. Chloe calls it a win win idea and suggests it might help with Jennifer. Abigail had said that Jen wanted him to cut off all contact with her. Given all the rage those two Horton women now have against her, her mom would be a good go-between.Dan assures her he would never ever cut off contact with her. Chloe sweetly states she just wants to make things better and tickles Parker about having grandma around. - Sami gasps Lucas shot EJ. Will sighs Nick already knows everything. EJ drawls there is nothing to know and stops him from continuing. Nick the notorious boasts of the taped confession, the fingerprints that would link Will to the crime. Sami cannot believe he would do this and reminds him Will is his family. How could he threaten him with prison! Nick angrily reminds her she just threatened to send Gabi to prison. Will gets it now. Another mama Sami mess! EJ excuses himself to make a phone call and advises Will and Sami to say nothing. Nick snaps he is probably calling a hitman, to do this the DiMera way. Sami is unable to refrain from speaking her mind and retorts maybe he is calling Nick’s parole officer. Lucas warns her not to push it. Sami snaps “If Gabi knew ...” Nick angrily tells Will this is what Gabi is facing and that is why he must give up his custody rights. Sonny insists it does not have to go this far. Nick retorts this does not concern him but Sonny snaps he is not going to let him hurt Will. Sami is certain Gabi would not go along with Nick. Will begs her to stay out of it. Nick claims Sami’s threats and badgering have given Gabi stress. Therefore, if anyone is to blame for Will having to give up his parental rights, it is her! - Sister Margaret seeks Eric. Nicole explains he is in a meeting but will soon return. She has a question. If one opens up in the confessional, how does it feel to confess to one’s boss? Sister Margaret smiles a priest’s job is to listen and understand, not judge. Sometimes a confession can help one clear one’s head and shed light on what must be taken care of. Does that answer her question? Nicole smiles it does. - Chloe reasons her mom would be a great help, plus she would not feel alone. Dan cannot say no. Chloe adds Nancy can even take Parker to him when he is with Jennifer, to avoid the uncomfortable situation. Dan needs time to mull it over. They will discuss more soon. He offers to take Parker for the rest of the day. Chloe happily replies that is not necessary as he made her feel better but asks him to watch him for a moment. She steps into the other room. Dan places excited Parker on his lap and tells him how precious he is to him… - Rafe bids his mama good night in Spanish on the phone. She has been praying. Gabi gushes she also prays for Ari’s angel. They have both been thinking about her. Gabi announces she wants to name the baby after her. Rafe whispers it is a great idea, a tear in his eye. She also wants to name the baby after Grace, whom Rafe helped raise. And so Arianna Grace it is! Rafe thinks that sounds beautiful.
