Episode 12,033 - Father Eric the tormented is at his desk, thinking, thinking, thinking. Nicole stands in the doorway, remembering she told him she loved him. Their eyes lock. She enters. He puts away his bible and asks whether she made a statement. She sits at her secretarial desk and argues she did cos people who attack him should be locked up! Eric talks prisoner statistics. Father Matt arrives. He got his email that he wants to do prison outreach. Nicole thinks it is insane. Eric drawls it is his job. He has a school meeting and will speak to Father Matt on the matter soon. When he goes, Matt peers at Nicole, who questions if it will be safe. He replies it shall be quite a challenge. Nicole calls it a death wish. - Sami bangs around the office in her stylish boots and daydreams out the window. She has her run-in with Nick the notorious on her mind. He wants to shut out Will and her family from baby’s life and she will not stand for it! She grabs her coat and flings open the door. There stands Lucas. He perceives something is the matter. She exclaims Will cannot lose his baby! Lucas is calm and collected as he explains he just saw Gabi at the hospital and all is well. Exasperated Sami updates him on Nick’s harsh words to her. Lucas grins she must have gotten him angry. He also suspects she is overreacting. Sami is positive Nick has something that could back up his threat. Lucas is listening. What was the threat? Nick claimed to have facts, which means dirt, which means they must find out what! Lucas disagrees. Sami wants to wear Nick down until he admits what he has. Lucas warns her not to create a situation She is not listening. There already is a situation! Lucas offers to calmly approach Nick and find out what is going on. He assures her he will get what they need and suggests she stay out of it. This could be the result of her overactive imagination. He shakes his head and departs. - Will wakes up on the bed. Sonny let him sleep as he was wiped from all the stress. It was a long night of going over the facts, the options. Will wonders what Nick the notorious is gonna do with what he knows. Sonny feels he could be uttering empty threats. Will, however, knows he is a genius although he is wrong about one thing. He cannot be prosecuted for what he did to EJ anymore. Sonny, however, checked, and states he still could be prosecuted for the crime. He needs a good lawyer, just in case. - Nick is having a flashback that terrifies him. A guy grabs him from behind in the prison and leers he will help him but he wants repayment. Nick gasps and comes back to reality. Hope is with him in Gabi’s room and they walk out together. Hope noticed he was having a nightmare but he gasps he is fine and was not. Hope, however, has been in prison and knows one has to do what one must to survive in such a place. Nick claims he does not even remember his dreams. Hope thought he was about to yell … Nick quips it would have been about Sami, who gave Gabi the stress that brought her here. Hope is sure she did not mean it. Nick, on the other hand, considers her and her son nothing but trouble! He now returns to his beloved Gabi, who has been asking for him. Hope smiles but then looks concerned as he walks away. In her room, Gabi notices the pretty flowers that just came. Turns out the note is from Sami so Gabi wants him to get rid of the card.Nick rips it to shreds and assures her that woman will not pose a problem for her anymore. - At the town square, Abigail taunts Chloe that Daniel has chosen her mom! It was not really a choice that was tough to make. She calls her trash. Chloe calls her the only trash and she knows it! She pretends to pity old and lonely Jen but accuses Abigail of being a hypocrite, acting holier than thou. Abigail counters she is the most evil and conniving creature in the world. Chloe wonders what her late father Jack would think. How would he react to hat she is doing? Abigail loses her cool and snaps to shut the hell up about Jack. He would approve of her defending her mom. Chloe nastily questions that. She accuses her of betraying his memory. It gets to Abigail. It really does … - Dan and Jen end up on the couch kissing and kissing. He suddenly pulls back and announces she deserves better than such a hasty teenage moment … He yearns to treat her like the treasure she is. They embrace. - Sami tries to work but flashes back to Rafe reminding her that Will signed off on Nick and Gabi being together. Sami had reminded him that Gabi had her own skeletons in her closet. Sami realizes they do have leverage and leaves a message for EJ to get in touch. She heads for the hospital for her showdown with Nick the notorious. - Gabi has her doubts. Nick assures her Sami will not be a problem, He intends to keep his beloved’s stress level down. That means things should be like when the baby was just theirs, with no Sami or Will involvement. He advises her to decide who gets to be around her and when. Then after the baby is born, she can decide if Will can be around. Gabi knows that is not presently possible and fears he is up to something risky. He claims he will not break any laws, he will just convince Sami and Will to stay away. - Will is upset about the lawyer idea. Sonny suggests his father. Will exclaims he does not want to tell his dad he shot EJ. Sonny points out his dad loves him cos he loves him. Or … he could talk to Gabi and ask her to prevent Nick from going to the cops. Knock knock! Tis Lucas, who wants to talk to Will alone and it is BIG. He therefore asks Sonny to go. Sonny stares darkly a la Kiriakis. Will shuts the door and announces Sonny is going nowhere. He assumes this is about Nick and informs papa Lucas that Sonny knows what Nicks also knows, which is that he shot EJ. He is sure Nick intends to use the intel to his advantage. Lucas frowns. - Nick emerges from Gabi’s room. Hope talks him into getting some rest. He agrees. Hope goes to see Gabi. Nick now places a call on his phone about those papers being drawn up by a notary, which he needs signed and filed with a judge TODAY! The elevator door opens and Sami follows Nick into a room, where he now pours himself a glass of water. She solemnly states they need to get some things straight. He sips his water and ominously agrees. - Dan and Jen gush and blush they are in a good place. Jen suggests they go for a walk or play some darts. He talks ice cream. Jen gets excited and proposes a walk to see where they end up. Dan steals a passionate kiss and whispers he loves her as they make for the door. - Abigail’s voice shakes with emotion as she laments Chloe has crossed the line, Chloe sees her opening and moves in for the kill, accusing Abigail of pushing Jen into another man’s arms when Jack is still warm in the ground. Jen screams her mom deserves happiness and love. Everyone needs to be loved! Chloe leers she should still be grieving. It is too soon, which makes it disrespectful, like Abigail. Abigail screams to stop. Chloe leers she must have hated Jack. A crowd gathers and watches as Chloe muses maybe she is mad he abandoned her too. Abigail screams she is a vicious slut and puts her hands around her throat. The much taller Chloe pretends to be scared and screams she is crazy. Abe breaks it up. Abigail has no remorse. She shrieks she deserved it. Jen and Dan have arrived. Jen holds Abigail, while Dan holds Chloe. - Father Matt realizes Nicole considers the prison outreach program rather reckless. She snaps she does. The pragmatic priest senses that there is something else troubling her. She alludes to the fact there is and shrugs off his announcement he will be taking confessions shortly. He points out privacy is assured and asks her to think about it. He exits, taking the wisdom of his years with him. Nicole nervously starts to talk to herself. She decides she needs a drink and then reconsiders confession, having an attack of conscience. But her timing could not be worse …! Read Part 2 of Under Attack plus Spoilers ...! |
