THIS EPISODE WAS TWEETED ONE HOUR AHEAD BY DAYSCAFE :) CRAZY LOVE Episode 12,032 - At the rectory, Nicole and the priest she loves are about to discuss for the first time all the unsaid things, the decision to stop lying. Nicole realizes he actually has no idea why she wanted to leave town and is about to enlighten him when Rafe interrupts, seeking their statements for the police department. He immediately senses that he has walked in on something. - Marlena arrives at the hospital and Kate informs her that Gabi is fine. They are the proud great grandmothers to be. Kate perceives Marlena is not happy. The blonde admits she has had better months. Kate is sorry and hopes things will improve. So does she! - Kristen quietly states the only other person who knows her big secret is her father. She insists the lies she told were never about Brady, they were about her and things that were done to her, things she is still paying for! - Jen gets off the phone at cozy Horton house, having decided to work from home. Abigail comes downstairs with her books and notices her mom is pacing. She suspects she is avoiding Dan and would like to know what happened. Jen sighs nothing and that is the problem. She may have pushed him away with her ultimatum last night. It worries her he has not been in touch. Abigail suggests he might be in the OR. Negative, How about calling him? Jen left the ball in his court and laments his silence speaks volumes! Abigail does not want her to second guess herself and refers to Chloe as evil. Jen gasps she demanded he cut off all contact with Chloe. Perhaps she was cruel, given they do share a son. Abigail thinks it would be more cruel for everyone to get their heart broken by Chloe. She is doing the right thing! Matter of fact, her mom should stand up to people like Chloe or else they will walk all over her. Jen nods. - Dan gets to Chloe’s place (in fact his place) before the nanny interview. Chloe is clad in hot pink and pleasantly offers to get Parker. Dan stops her for he has something significant to say first. “Read my lips. Lay off Jennifer!” The diva plays innocent. He accuses her of assuming he is naive. Chloe claims any problem was a misunderstanding. He knows better, though. The problem is her! He wants her to stop playing mind games. She unhappily wonders what Jen said. Dan grumbles that Jen should not have to worry about her. Chloe acts like she thinks he hates her. He, however, is done with her games and demands to know what she really wants! - Kristen proceeds to tell Brady her unhappy tale of woe. After everyone celebrated her death, word spread that she was hiding on an island in Europe. In fact, she was a prisoner! Brady stares. She continues and cries horrible things were done to her, things she cannot bear to repeat … but she brought it on herself and alienated anyone who ever cared about her. It was worse to be forgotten than hated. Brady quietly asks what happened. Did she escape? She sniffles she was set free but alas had to pay a huge price! - Marlena confides in fellow great grandma Kate about the difficult Brady situation, how they are trying to be patient. Kate can relate, as she was mistreated by Stefano, had unpleasant dealings with his minion Kristen. She wishes Brady would leave Kristen on the floor in a heap. Marlena is amused. She cannot help but notice stylish Kate’s glow! They agree they must do coffee together. Marlena would love to know how she manages to stay so radiant … - Back at the rectory, Eric grumbles he already filled in Roman that junky Kevin need not be dumped into the harsh prison system. Rafe is flabbergasted that the priest is on a first name basis with the guy who mugged him. Eric talks rehab or halfway house and further shocks Rafe by announcing he is not pressing charges. Nicole snaps at him to be more human. Eric explains this is his vocation and who he is now. She quips that is abundantly clear, then tells Rafe she will certainly give him a statement. Eric would rather get back to their private discussion but she gets sarcastic about being held to a higher standard and suggests she and Rafe confer elsewhere. And so they do. They leave Eric alone to wonder what he said wrong to Nicole this time. Abe later drops by the rectory and asks Eric what he wishes to discuss. A project and he needs a man with pull to make it happen, a man like the former mayor. Abe suggests his pop John would have more pull but Eric mutters dad would hate it. - Kristen dabs at her eyes as Brady asks about the price she paid.Stefano, who had disowned her, showed up one day. Brady urges her to go on. She cries she was so desperate to get out of that place, she would have done anything! And she did. “I made a pact with the devil!” Stefano paid for her freedom, paid for her five star hotel and a therapist to help her cope and recover. Brady takes it all in without blinking. Kristen explains she became a different person and felt free being on a continent where no one knew her past. She never thought she would have to come here ever again! Then her father collected on his debt and sent her to Salem, to help him rebuild the family, following daughter Lexie’s death. She felt truly trapped but then something amazing and wonderful happened … “You!” She sobs she never imagined he would enter her life. Now her father wants her in his house and she owes him. That is why she lied. Even if she did manage to do exactly as Stefano wanted, it will never end, there will always be something else. Once cannot trust the phoenix. Brady echoes the sentiment. She cries she feels she cannot trust anyone and feels aloooooooone. Brady tenderly takes her face in his hands, declares she can trust him, and the love birds share an embrace. - Pretty Abigail assures her mother she deserves to be happy. Jen says the same of her and asks about Cameron. She laughs she is waiting for the phone to ring. Jen teases it would be his loss, if it did not, then looks at her own phone again. Abigail is certain Dr. Dan will call, after his conversation with Chloe is over … - Chloe claims they have already had this conversation! Dan snaps he wants the truth this time. What does she want? Chloe does not miss a beat. What is best for Parker. Dan warns her to step messing with Jen’s head cos if she does not, Parker will suffer the consequences. Sultry Chloe stares. What did Jen say? Dan starts to say something but her phone rings and rings and rings. Tis the nanny agency. Dan goes to get Parker. When he returns, Chloe sighs the interview was postponed. Dan high fives and kisses his boy, then heads for the door. Chloe had thought they were talking … He quips he said what he needed to say and she knows what she must do. Exit Dan the man. Chloe assures little Parker that Jennifer the wench will not win. They will get their happily ever after! She soon opens her door to HR bitch Anne. She needs her faithful flunky to babysit. She complains Jen the witch said something to turn Dan against her and she must find out what it is. Chloe intends to get the details from unsuspecting Abigail. Anne is all for taking down Jen, but rather bored at the prospect of babysitting. - Nicole is at the coffee house with Rafe, complaining incessantly about Eric the saint. Rafe points out he is standing up for his fellow man. It is admirable. Nicole snaps she must be wound up from staring death and stupidity in the face. She goes to splash water on her face. Rafe places a call but Kate is already standing there, in all her glamorous glory! - Jen opens her front door to Dan, and shyly bids him to enter. He follows her into the living room as she walks ahead with her black boots and rather mini skirt to match. She acts like a flustered girl and wants him to go ahead and say what he came to say. Dan updates her on his private chat with Chloe. Pause. He understands why Jen wants him to cut Chloe out of his life. However, he cannot do so. Jen stares. - As sexy music plays in the background. Kate plops herself opposite Rafe and muses great minds think alike. He was calling her about Gabi and the baby. He drawls why was she calling him? Kate leans forward in a seductive pose … Nicole returns and wonders what is going on, a hint of irony in her voice. Kate considers, then stands up and explains she came from seeing Gabi and wished to update him. Rafe drawls thanks and they pretend they will eventually run into each other. Exit Kate. Nicole feels sorry for the baby for having a bitch of a great grandmother Rafe retorts he imagines Kate has some choice words to say about her too and gets back to the case. Will Nicole testify or can he kiss his case goodbye? Will she stay in Salem or go ...? - Chloe meets Abigail at the town square and claims to be very sorry she forgot to mention that Dan was not living with her at the apartment. She wanted to make sure they were clear. Abigail hisses Chloe is no innocent and wonders what her game is this time … - Eric recalls how he used to do useful things, important mission work. He wishes to start a prison ministry. Abe warns him he cannot imagine what he will be getting into with the felons. Father Eric the idealist thinks it would be worth it if he could save just one soul. Abe sighs it sounds like something Lexie would say and promises to make a few phone calls … Eric thanks him. - Brady seeks Kristen’s assurance that there is no more to her sad story, nothing she is keeping from him. She thinks it was awful enough and reminds him her father wants her to move in now. Brady sighs and announces he will not let her move in alone! No way in hell! She points out her father will move back into the mansion when he comes back to Salem. Brady will deal with it. She thanks him for doing this for her and they hug. He suggests they go somewhere for some air but she would rather rest. He reminds her he loves her. She loves him too. He kisses her cheek twice and departs.
