Nick declares the only constant in the last 6 months has been his and Gabi’s love. Sami yells that is ridiculous as they hardly know one another. She scoffs. Lucas exclaims he does not have the right to punish their son just because they are screw-ups sometimes. Nick recounts how Sami and Rafe were recently said to wed, now here she is with EJ. They are a dysfunctional family! Sami argues that has nothing to do with it. Lucas agrees. Nick notes Sami and Lucas have battled over their two kids too. Sonny calls it unfair to blame Will. Nick snaps it is not his concern as he already stated. Will warns him not to speak to him that way again, they are in love. Nick sarcastically notes they have been back together for all of 24 hours. How many times have they been in and out of love?! Lucas informs Nick that his time in prison sure does not give him the right to pass judgment. Nick claims to have learned to stand up for what was right. He warns Will of the hell his mother’s obsessive behavior would create for his daughter. He can either confess to shooting EJ and hurt those close to him or give up custody and give his daughter a chance at a stable life. Abigail asks the nurse at the nurse’s station for Cam’s whereabouts. He was headed for the supply room. Abigail goes after him … Eric is back, looking for Nicole but Margaret informs him she went out. He grins knowingly. At the town square, Nicole sighs Eric is so committed to God, he cannot see how she feels about him. She is the only one who knows so she will make it go away somehow. She simply must! Abigail walks into the supply room just as Cam is getting changed. He is presently clad in his checkered boxers, no more, no less. She first turns away, then turns back to him, and turns away again, shutting her eyes. Chloe is ready to call diva Nancy. She shows Parker a picture of his feisty grandma Nancy on her phone. With the redhead in the picture things are definitely going to go their way! Jen opens her door to Daniel. “I’m sorry,” he breathes. She does not wish to discuss what happened. He is just sorry she had to worry about her kid. Jen laments her daughter did not deserve what happened and she knows Dan is sorry but they cannot continue to do this. He does not understand. She announces they should take a break from each other… EJ the lawyer and lover returns to Sami’s side. Will quietly tells Nick he does not have to do this. Sami begs EJ, There must be something! He gestures helplessly, as he is presently going by the book, no DiMera funny stuff. For now. Lucas points out to Nick that his family will find out. What will they think?! Nick righteously replies they will see Will made a brave sacrifice. The messenger now arrives with the papers for Nick – a standard agreement for relinquishing custody, drawn up by a lawyer. He hands them to EJ to check over. Sami exclaims he cannot do this. Nick asks if all is in order. EJ quietly hands back the document with no objections. Nick does not want to waste more time and coldly hands it to Will. Will accepts it and stares. Nick is still holding out the pen.
