Monday, June 4, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! posted on June 1, 2012 DEAD AGAIN! The angry words all the suspects spoke to Stefano are heard as the dark DiMera living room is shown. The tragic music of the Italian opera Pagliacci continues, as does the stormy night. Once again, the mysterious figure is shown shooting from behind as Stefano sits in his armchair in front of the fireplace. BANG! The opera has ended. With a black gloved hand, the shooter places the gun back down, then checks for a pulse ... Moments later ... - John Black is angry and wet. Marlena is waiting for him at home. He says hello. She appears rather surprised. John explains he did not get to the condo earlier as he had to pick up a few things. Where was she? She was busy with a client and then got stuck in the rain. He kisses her and walks into the other room. Marlena stares after him. - Bo is angry and wet. He runs into Hope at the pub. He had assumed she was at home. She quips it became too quiet. Ciara was at a sleepover. She came here for a coffee. Bo is sorry he was unable to make it home. When she asks about his errands, he will only say they were all taken care of. She too had earlier mentioned errands. - Ian stands up when he hears a noise outside the lonely office. Tis Kate, gasping and wet. He dubiously asks about her walk. She enters, removes her coat, and admits he was right, for the weather was not obliging. He is ready to discuss Stefano's non-compete clause. Kate, however, is in no mood to talk about Stefano and sits down at her computer. Ian observes her. - Wet and nervous Will rushes through the town square. EJ stops him and wonders who he is running from. He notes he looks scared and deduces he is hiding something. Will quips he should not care since he claimed he ruined his life. EJ drawls he does not care. Will sarcastically asks if they are done now. EJ frowns and saunters off. - Abe is sitting on the sofa still clad in his wet jacket when Lexie emerges in her pajamas and robe. She notices he is jumpy. He claims he is fine. She assures him he can tell her anything. She wants to know if something happened. He is more interested in her. She confesses that she has been having nightmares because of Stefano. But when she feels lost, all she needs to do is see Abe sleeping by her side. She calls him her protector. He promises not to ever let anyone harm her again. - Roman the commissioner is working late at the station. A somber police officer enters his office. The commissioner has a call one line one. Busy Roman suggests he take a message but the officer insists he will want to hear this. Roman takes the call. "Say that again. Repeat that! Repeat that! Hello?!" - Mel joins Chad at the coffee house. They kiss. Concerned Chad gets on the phone with Gabi briefly. He has no idea she is with her stalker friend, though she claims to be stalker free! She will see him soon. She gets off her phone in the alley and hands Andrew, her stalker-for-hire a wad of cash. She wants to stick with the plan, but he thinks they can take it to another level. Gabi blows him off and walks away. - Meanwhile, Chad suggests to Mel that they should seek assistance in the stalker issue from Stefano. She does not agree. Gabi arrives in time to witness Chad and Mel disagreeing. Mel feels Stefano is too dangerous, one to be avoided. Chad reasons his father has contacts who might know something. Gabi sides with Chad and thanks him when he insists he only wants her to be safe. He decides to venture to the mansion. Mel looks unhappy. Gabi appears victorious. - Roman calls Bo from the DiMera mansion, where the police are at the scene of the crime. There has been a development. He requests Bo and Hope come over pronto. Bo informs Hope. She looks tense. - At the Carver house, Abe suggests he and Lexie watch TV. How about her favorite show? Lexie steps out to the kitchen. Abe turns on the TV to breaking news about Stefano being SHOT DEAD! Lexie comes back to ask what kind of tea he would prefer. He hastily turns off the TV, adding it was a rerun. He suddenly hugs Lexie and declares she would rather spend this time with her. - John rejoins Marlena in the living room, now dry, and explains he wants to check the weather. He turns on the TV, which is still broadcasting the murder of Stefano DiMera. Marlena cannot believe it. John drawls their dreams have come true! Marlena is caught off guard by his response. - Meanwhile, Bo and Hope are at the mansion, having heard the news on the way over. They are stunned. Roman tells them what they have found thus far. Stefano was shot from behind. The bullet went from the back to his heart. The shooter left behind a gun that has been bagged. They will not know whether it is the actual murder weapon until ballistics checks it out. There were additional bullet holes found in the room which do not correspond with the gun. A mysterious tipster with an altered voice called in the crime. Bo and Hope assume they are here to investigate but Roman now drops a bombshell. He wants answers. "As of right now, you two are suspects!" Hope snaps he cannot be serious. Roman points out they said they wanted the victimedead and now he is dead. Bo replies that does not mean they did anything. He and Hope go on to insist they were home together all night. Roman wants someone or something to confirm their story. They note they still have their police guns. Roman asks whether they have seen the gun in the bag before. They flashback to examining said gun when they were at the mansion earlier to confront Stefano, but pretend they have not seen it before. Bo simply wants to get to work. Roman reminds him they would need to be cleared first. A commotion is heard behind them that diverts their attention. Chad is detained at the door, then exclaims this is his father's place. Roman lets him enter. The young man spies his father slumped in the chair. Roman is sorry. Chad is horrified. He demands to know who did this. Roman explains they are trying to find out. Chad gasps he must find his brother EJ ... - EJ numbly drinks a coffee at the pub, his hand shaking. - Kate stands up and decides she needs some rest. Ian assures her his lawyers will handle the problems. She will never have to worry about Stefano DiMera again. Wet Will opens the door of their office bearing news. Stefano was murdered. Kate starts to cry it cannot be true, then sobs on Ian's shoulder. He casually asks Will if the police have any idea who did it ... Read Part 2 of DEAD AGAIN! The evidence is coming in ... |
