| DAYS OF OUR LIVES DAY Part 2 Monday, June 4, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! DEAD AGAIN - Part 2 - Abe opens his front door to Roman. Lexie has just gone back to bed. Roman has questions about Stefano's murder. Abe would rather wait, so as not to upset Lexie. Roman snaps he needs to do his job because Stefano is dead. Lexie staggers down the stairs in shock. "My father's dead???" Abe rushes to her side as she cries she just saw him. "What happened? Was it his heart or his diabetes?" She breaks down sobbing upon being informed by Roman that her father was murdered. Abe calms her and sits her down. Lexie knew he had enemies. She demands the police find whoever did this! Roman solemnly promises her they will. She cries her heart out. Roman must continue with his investigation and asks about his visit with her today. Lexie cries Stefano wanted to spend some time with her and that was the last time she saw him. He now asks Abe when was the last time he saw him. Abe flashes back to threatening him at the mansion that very night, and then pretends he last saw him with Lexie. - Roman is soon interrogating Kate, who woefully explains the first time she heard of Stefano's death was when Will told her. Roman now wants to know how Will found out He flashes back to raging at the phoenix, then pretends he heard the news when it was already everywhere. Kate claims she does not recall when she last saw Stefano, though he did send her divorce papers today. Roman wants to know if she spoke to him. She flashes back to accusing Stefano of not behaving like a human being and then tells Roman she did not speak with him today. - Roman joins John and Marlena at their home for questions. John does not hide the fact that he is pleased by the news. Marlena looks worried. Roman wonders whether he saw DiMera tonight. John pretends he did not go near him, as Roman had warned him to steer clear. Roman notes he never listened to him before. John laughs nervously, then flashes back to being at the mansion earlier. Roman would like to know if Marlena saw Stefano tonight. She flashes back to her own tense encounter at the mansion, then replies she had no reason to see him. She did not see him. Roman wonders if there is anything else they would like to share with him. A flashback of each one touching the gun by the chess set is shown. John and Marlena nervously reply that is all. Roman peers at the pair. - EJ slowly enters the mansion and solemnly greets Chad, who cries on his brother's shoulder as the officers guarding the crime scene stand nearby. Chad unhappily wonders why someone would do such a thing. Bo and Hope silently watch. EJ is not quite himself. - After formally identifying the body, EJ shows up at Roman's office. Roman offers his condolences and wonders what he would like to share. EJ flashes back to shooting the vase, then explains to Roman he wanted him to hear it from him first that he and his fatha were going through a rough patch. Roman wonders why he is telling him. Because he would rather he focus on finding the real killer. Roman suspiciously asks why their relationship was strained. EJ explains it was only because Stefano resented him trying to take over. Roman wonders if that was what he was doing. EJ replies no, for he is more than just Stefano DiMera's son. He is a man with his own life and his own goals ... - Chad woefully walks back to the town square. Mel hugs him. Gabi is sorry. Chad laments he arrived moments after it happened. He will never forget what he saw. Gabi asks if he needs anything. Chad sighs that he is okay. Gabi does not think so. Chad cries he lost his mother and now his father. He is all alone in the world. Mel assures him he has her and they hug emotionally. Gabi rolls her eyes. Andrew the stalker-for-hire happens by and observes. - At the station, Roman has gotten an ID on the gun. He stares at the file. The gun belongs to Abe Carver. He orders the officer to make the lab put a rush on the prints. - Back at Carver house, Lexie woefully informs Abe she first assumed her father had killed himself out of guilt. Abe wonders if it would have made a difference. She knows not and cries he is gone. Abe holds her and tells her not to worry. "I promise you, I will see that justice is done!" - John glances out the stormy window, then calmly tells doc he is ready for bed. She is seated on the sofa and wonders if they really should have informed Roman they were out tonight. John points out he did not ask, he merely asked whether they had seen Stefano. He told the truth. She quips so did she. He drawls they have nothing to worry about and kisses her. He starts to walk away, but turns back and stares at his wife for a long time. - Bo and Hope return home. He assures her and also appears to assure himself that once their names are cleared, they will be on the case. They both appear tense, - Ian has his back turned at the office as Will bids Kate goodnight. She tearfully laments she knew the day would come that Stefano's scheming and plotting would get him killed. Exit Will. Kate sits down with a sigh. Ian turns around. - Back at the station, Roman now has a match on the fingerprints and there are many. Abe, Hope, Bo, John, Marlena, EJ, Kate. He pauses for a long time before adding the final name Will. The commissioner is convinced one of these people murdered Stefano. The question is which one? - At DiMera mansion, a fire still burns in the fireplace. EJ stands at the blood-stained empty armchair and then sits down opposite it on the floor, thinking ... END |
