Bo notes the boy is acting like nothing is wrong. Hope is glad they gave Abe time alone with Lexie. Bo holds her as she cries about having to say goodbye eventually. Ciara asks when Abe and Lexie are coming back. Theo mysteriously replies mommy is not coming back. He adds he his mommy just went to heaven. - “Don’t leave me!” sobs distraught Abe as he holds his deceased wife in his arms, surrounded by roses. Lexie’s beautiful spirit now steps out of her body and she smiles a sweet smile. She is dressed in white. She watches Abe crying not to leave, he needs more time. She speaks and asks him to listen. “You’re going to be fine. You are. I need you to believe me.” He knows not how to go on without her. She promises he is not alone. He has their son, friends, and their memories. He begs her lifeless form not to leave him and cries he is not ready. He does not see her glowing spirit standing over him. She smiles she will always be with him and Theo. He must know in his heart she will never leave them. She embraces him, but alas he does not feel her presence. He cries he does not want to let her go. He cannot! Hope enters the garden and Abe laments his beautiful wife is gone. Lexie’s spirit observes as Hope breaks down and raises her eyes to the heavens. - Gabi catches up with stalker Andy outside and excitedly updates him on Mel leaving town. He is pleased and flashes back to abducting her rival. He knowingly grins now she has her chance. Gabi is sorry she was mad earlier but things have since changed. She now has Chad’s full attention and did not have to do a thing to get it! She hopes that Mel will be gone a while. Andy notes she could be gone forever! Meanwhile, Mel bangs on the door of her prison, yelling to be let out. Andy sits on a bench with Gabi, who hopes Mel will stay in Europe. She confides that despite his kindness, she gets the feeling that Chad thinks of her only as a friend. Andy does not think he will easily forget about Mel, so she does have her work cut out for her! - At the mansion, solemn, suited EJ warns Will that he has much to lose. The time has come to stop playing Russian roulette with his life and his explosive secret. Will quips he does not understand. EJ reasons he does, more than he knows, about the truth being a frightening thing. He advises him not to concern himself with what others think. Will notes he is not as tough as he is. EJ points out the truth will come out. He still has the chance to decide how it does. Will is nervous about everything going public. EJ is convinced that would be best. He now gets an unexpected call from Hope. “I’m at your sister’s house … I’m so sorry, she passed away a few minutes ago.” EJ calmly thanks her for calling and numbly hangs up. Will wonders if he is alright. “My sister just died.” Will sympathetically places a hand on his shoulder, offering to do anything he needs. EJ tries to keep a stiff upper lip and excuses himself, clearly in shock. - Replay of Neil giving Rafe Will’s alibi as he was at the gay bar. Enter Roman. “What’s going on?” Rafe explains this is his grandson’s alibi. Neil repeats to Roman that he and Will were at the Spot. Roman stares. He appreciates his attempt to help but he is not buying that his grandson was at a gay bar. Neil shakes his head and tells him he does not know his grandson. Roman considers. He must have been with Sonny. Not this time! Neil explains it is where he and Will go together. Roman asks Sami if she knows anything about this. Sami admits she does. - Abe sorrowfully sits outside with Bo and sighs it does not seem real. Bo is sympathetic. Abe cries a part of him is missing. He lost someone he will never get back. Bo reminds him he at least got to hold her and see she was at peace. Abe laments her life should not have ended. There was much she still wanted to do. Bo sagely states he and Theo both got the opportunity to say goodbye, which is more than some others have. Abe is grateful for that and also relieved the pain she suffered is over. Bo remarks she passed in her garden at her home, in the arms of the man she loved. His own eyes are filled with tears as his friend continues crying. He notes he gave her everything she wanted and was everything to her. Bo now puts his arm around him and they sit together. - Inside, Hope calls Celeste. Nearby, Lexie’s ethereal spirit places a hand on her son, who is playing at the table. Theo is the only person who can see or hear her. “Hi mommy!” Does she have to go? She smiles yes. He sighs he does not want her to. She asks him to look after daddy and promises she will love him forever and be there whenever he needs her. Lexie hugs her son as Bo and Abe walk by, oblivious to her spirit. Abe is torn over how to tell his son his mother is gone. Bo informs him the boy already sensed it. Abe is not surprised, given their deep connection. He approaches Theo at the table and does not notice that Lexie’s spirit is standing nearby. Abe wants to talk but Theo explains he knows. Mommy is gone and now he must look after him. Abe is moved to hear it is what mommy told him. Lexie blows them both a big a kiss. - Sami suggests Roman consult with Will if he wants to further discuss this situation. He must ask him. Enter Will. Ask him what? Roman updates him. Neil is claiming they were together at a gay bar at the time of the murder. Is this true? Sami nods at her son with encouragement. Will admits yes that is true. Roman claims he only wanted to double-check that is his alibi. Will replies it is and he is sorry he did not tell him sooner. Roman understands as this is the kind of thing that would give people the wrong impression. Will insists that it would not be wrong. “Grandpa, I’m gay!” - Mel bangs at her door in frustration, then removes a bobby pin from her hair and proceeds to try and unlock the door.
