ANGELS AND DEMONS - Part 2

- Will is truly sorry he did not tell his grandfather sooner. “I didn’t want
to come out to you like this.” Roman sighs. Rafe assures him he has nothing to be sorry about. Carrie appreciates his help in the case. Roman wonders if Sami knows. Will steps forward and lists who already knew. He intended to tell him too but then got arrested. Roman is cross he did not spare himself the trouble of getting arrested. He admits this is hard and could take some getting used to for him. Sami reminds him he is still Will. Rafe points out this alibi is good but the press will get wind of it. Carrie will speak to Justin about keeping the media at bay, though first they must get the charges dropped. Roman, Rafe, and Carrie leave the room together. Sami smiles she is so proud of her son and throws her arms around him. Neil is glad too. Will knows that he should have come forward sooner. Is she alright with this? Indeed she is. She thanks Neil profusely. So does Will. The two guys hug. Roman returns. Neil excuses himself. They will talk later. Sami assumes the charges will be dropped but Roman notes they have to wait and see. Sami is curious if he has a problem with his grandson being gay. He has a problem with how the world will react. Things are moving in the right direction since back in
the day. However, he has seen things … Sami would rather focus on the positive and praises her son. Will admits it was EJ who made him see the light. Carrie and Rafe return with the news that the charges have been dropped. Will is officially a free man. Sami thanks God and hugs her son again.
- EJ uncertainly enters the Carver residence. Theo embraces him, then goes off to play with Ciara. Lexie’s spirit watches as EJ addresses Abe. Hope and Bo stand nearby. EJ does not wish to appear insensitive, though he would like to know how … Abe explains they were in the garden when she peacefully passed. EJ blinks away the tears. Hope and Bo excuse themselves to make more phone calls. Abe thanks them for their support. Hope will also prepare the tea and coffee for the people who will be dropping by. EJ is uncomfortable. Abe assures him that
Lexie would have wanted him here. Lexie’s spirit looks on with approval. EJ notes his sister always wanted him to be more like Abe. She was his only friend, in addition to his sister. “She was the most important person in my life.” Abe can relate. EJ wonders where they go from here. Lexie whispers for the two men to make peace. They stare at each other. Abe, his voice shaking with emotion, recalls that Lexie asked them to co-exist for Theo’s sake. EJ remembers it too. Abe would like to honor those wishes. EJ asks if it is really possible. Abe notes that Theo feels close to him. Therefore, he is welcome there anytime. “Theo will know that you are his … you are our family.” EJ thanks him. Abe decides they have already lost too much and gives him a bear hug. EJ hugs him back with tears in his eyes.
- Andy wants to show Gabi something in his home and escorts her down to his darkroom, a soundproof basement. She asks him to show her just how he plans to keep Chad and Mel from talking and glances at the door. Mel is at the other side, trying to unlock the same door with her bobby pin, though the two parties cannot hear or see each other …
- Back at the Carver residence, Hope informs Abe that she has spoken with Celeste, Cameron, and Brandon.  Bo adds that Kay will call the rest of the family. Abe thanks them and remarks it cannot be easy for any of them. EJ notes she touched all of their lives. Bo declares they will never forget her. Hope cries. Lexie’s spirit slowly glides to the staircase and vanishes …
- Back at the police station, Sami insists to Roman that being gay is not
a choice. Roman just wishes the arrest could have been avoided. He wishes Sami had just told him. She would not have for it was her son’s decision to come out when he was ready. Roman wonders how she took the news. Terribly, but she wants what is best for Will. Roman drawls
he loves that kid and this changes nothing. Still, he has concerns given that he had a gun and also works for EJ. He has no idea where the boy's head is at!
- Will and Sonny catch up at the pub. Sonny thinks he should be happy but Will glumly notes the whole town is now going to find out he is gay. Sonny offers up some advice. Soon it will not matter. In the meantime
he should have fun, live his life, and realize the people who know him love and support him. Like him? Like him! Always. They embrace.
- Andy is about to tell Gabi his plan but she stops him. She decides she needs to get Chad to fall in love with her. And she hopes that wherever Mel is, she is serious about moving on and forgetting all about Chad. Andy grins wickedly. On the other side of the door Mel starts to wobble the doorknob, ready to make her great escape ...!
