Episode 12,122 - Stefano is still laughing, but EJ is not. He orders him out of HIS house! The phoenix praises his mean humor. EJ suggests he check his phone, call Benedict and Shin. He toys with the chess set. Stefano now checks his messages. What did he do? EJ boasts he beat him at his own game! Stefano calls him Judas for betraying him. EJ is cocky. He had this long planned and he never forgave him for disowning him. Stefano angrily reminds him he was duped into believing he was not his son. EJ helps himself to a cigar. Stefano snaps he was in torment, but then admitted his mistakes, and EJ even said he forgave him. EJ boasts he was doing as fatha taught him to do. He was merely keeping his enemy close. Stefano realizes their relationship since then has been a lie. He would do this to his own fatherrrrr? EJ angrily retorts he is not his fatha, his eyes filled with hurt. Stefano insists he loved him. EJ accuses him of using that word to hurt those closest to him. His love killed Lexie and Tony, ruined Kate’s life. Stefano explains she betrrrrrayed him! EJ points out that he dumped her! Stefano gathers he knows about her affair with Hernandez, but would rather not go any further. EJ taunts him for losing sight of his business when he became consumed with jealousy and the desire to exact revenge against Rafe. Stefano warns he will make him pay for this! EJ leers the phoenix will not rise again! Stefano pauses. He suspects this was that Samantha’s doing. EJ replies it was not, but she will no doubt be pleased, given wot he has done to her and her family. He now tells how Samantha killed his killer Bernardi and almost was imprisoned for life for it. He blasts Stefano for not caring she would have been imprisoned away from their children for life. All he did was creep away and then creep back once others had cleaned up the mess he left behind! - Kristen is on her phone at the pretty park, mad at the editor for not being ready with her sex video. She wants it purrfect and ready fast! It seems she will have to wait for judgment day. She spies a pair of lovers talking forgiveness, making up, and scoffs. Forgiveness is not her style! - Theresa exclaims she is Jen’s new assistant. Jen tells honey the job of her assistant is already filled. Kayla arrives and introduces Theresa as Theresa Donovan, her niece! She is Shane and Kim’s daughter Jeannie, who now goes by her middle name. She giggles she already met JJ and hops on the desk. Kayla orders her off it. Jen steps away for a word with her son. Kayla snaps to be more respectful toward boss Jen. She reminds her that her parents asked her to keep an eye on her. Theresa hopes she will not be like mama Kim cos she will not take it! Kayla will not take her attitude and reminds her of the trouble she has been in already. She should try and make things work here. It could be her last chance! Jen hauls JJ to the nurse’s station and wonders why the girl was in their house if he did not even know who she was! Kristen arrives and smiles at pal Jen, who makes the introductions. JJ gets sarcastic about his mom’s lecture making him miss English class. She advises him to get the notes and she intends to check up on him! JJ makes a snide remark and leaves. Kristen is sympathetic and asks how Jen and Dan are doing. Jen stares. She decided to end it. Kristen is so sorry and credits Jen for being a good person who deserves to be happy. Jen is sorry about her and Brady. Kristen casually claims she has moved on, out of necessity. - Busy Dr. Dan is with Maxine at the nurse’s station. She wonders what was the matter with Rafe. Not meds! Dan will only say he could remedy the situation, though he stops short of saying he kicked Sami out. He now takes a look at Eric’s test results. - Sami races to the rectory to complain about how mean Dr. Dan was when Rafe woke up, but Eric starts to fall down when she hugs him! She catches him and he sits against the desk, then shakes and gasps. Sami assures him he is okay and hugs him. He refuses to let her call for an ambulance and soon it passes. Sami wonders what it was. He would like to know too! He sips his water and explains it comes and goes. Sami is shocked. He notes it is less severe each time. Sami stands up to call Marlena. Eric stops her as he is too busy for hovering. She insists he see a doctor. He assures her he already did. In fact, Dr. Daniel Jonas is running tests. It will be a process of elimination, if they ever discover what ails him. Sami huffs and criticizes Dan. Who does he think he is anyway! Moments later said medicine man shows up with the test results in hand. The moment of truth has arrived! He took the liberty of getting a tox screen done. Sami interrupts and insists they must know exactly what happened. Dan patiently explains he needs to talk to a specialist, who is going over the results as they speak. Sami is argumentative. Dan informs Eric she is peeved that he asked her to leave agitated Rafe’s room. Eric is not surprised and sees his protesting sister to the door. She decides she is still going to make sure he is okay and storms off! Meanwhile, Dan suggests he admit Eric to the hospital for observation. The priest refuses and so they agree on more blood being drawn. Dan notes the toxins must still be in his system as he continues to experience symptoms. The specialist should be able to identify them. - Jen returns to her office, where Kayla assures her that her niece will work hard. They are both grateful for this opportunity The girl is writing at the desk. Jen shuts the door when Kayla exits and hisses she wants to know what she was doing at her house the other night. She claims she got lost and saw a familiar house so she knocked and JJ answered. She only wanted directions. Jen folds her arms and grudgingly offers to show her around the hospital. But first she clarifies that this job is only a favor for the Brady family so she should not show up at her house uninvited. Theresa gets sarcastic about her buying her a map. Sami arrives and greets her grown up pretty cousin with an enthusiastic hug. - Kristen unintentionally interrupts Stefano and EJ’s showdown. She greets father with a kiss and wonders what is happening. EJ muses fatha is packing his bags and leaving. Kristen cannot conceal her surprise. EJ boasts this house belongs to him, along with the company. Fatha has no right to be here. Kristen looks from her father to her brother and asks if it is true. Stefano grumbles he would not drrrrream of sleeping under this roof, promises to be in touch with Kristen soon, and storms off to pack. Kristen blinks at EJ in disbelief. "What have you done!" He repeats he owns it all now and intends to get rid of the portrait of the phoenix next . Kristen notes her work to get him and his father together was all for nothing, in that case. What she believed to be real actually was a lie. EJ drinks and gets sarcastic about her scruples. Kristen understands where he is coming from on some level. She too believes that when one loves someone, it is simply not possible to forgive and forget. One must hit back. EJ drops a framed picture in the trash and grins he knew she would think the same way. She nods ominously. He soon asks her an important question about the impending DiMera war ...
