He confesses so is he! How about some crazy fun? Nicole wonders what he had in mind. The doc seductively murmurs about skill and warns they could get sweaty. She is very interested. He stands up and she is surprised he was referring to a fun little ball game. Dan wants to know if she wants to have fun with him or not! The devil with the blue dress claims her nose was broken the last time she played basketball. Dan gets up close and admires her pretty nose. He will help her. He puts his hands on her hips and coos “Perfect” as she holds the ball with a smile. She proceeds to miss as he plays the role of the commentator. She points out she has a disadvantage, though it irks her that she is unable to beat him! He chuckles it must be due to his raw talent. She suggests they raise the stakes to interest her and hopes he is not chicken. He asks what wager. If she wins, she gets whatever she wants. And if he wins, they he gets whatever he wants. Dan smiles a naughty smile. - Kate is at the office when she signs for a delivery. Tis an envelope. Ian watches from behind the door as she immediately locks it in a drawer and sits down with a sigh. He now pretends to have just arrived and notes she is still there. She explains she has been working on a project. Ian wonders what was delivered. Some papers. He suddenly demands to know what she is hiding! Kate innocently replies she received a personal package on the company’s dime and is sorry. She has a marketing meeting to attend to and hopes he will let Madison know she was looking for her. Evil Ian remains in the office and Kate departs. He starts to force open the locked drawer but has no luck. His phone rings. “I’m glad you called.” As it turns out, Brady has broken far more quickly than anticipated and so he must dispose of the materials, though they must not be traced to him. He now takes a triumphant look at the damning pictures on his iphone of Brady‘s drug deal. - Madison accuses Brady of not being able to get his story straight. He blamed Ian and then went and bought his own drugs! If he is not honest, he will not beat this. Brady tries to explain he was coming down and that was why he slipped up. He cannot explain how Ian could have drugged him, however. He wants her to believe him and stand by him. She does not think she can stand by a man who buys drugs and lies about it. He insists he did not use them. It took all his courage to throw them out. He did it so he would not lose her. He stammers this addiction is hard, but the thought of losing her had given him newfound strength. She returns his gaze with tears in her eyes. He promises to do anything to make this right. She is not so sure he can. He swears he did not do any drugs last night and points out he has never lied to her. He begs her to believe him. - At the town square, suspicious Austin wants to know what Carrie was referring to. What is hard? Rafe covers by claiming she was talking about a new case. Austin sternly reminds her work is not as important as their family and the baby they are expecting. He gives Rafe a cold look. He now asks about the case. They pretend the client is a single mom to be. Carrie assures Austin she appreciates her husband and the fact that her baby will have both parents. Rafe appears glum. Austin wants to take her home. Carrie has some work to do but Rafe insists he will have the files delivered to her office. She should just go. And so they leave together. - EJ waits to be set up on the lie detector test at the police station. Will eagerly buzzes around him. Spencer promptly summons Roman. The commissioner sarcastically drawls he is shocked. EJ quips he has nothing to hide. Roman would like to be alone with the mayor. He warns him that if he fails the test, he will come after him and get the proof he needs to lock him up! EJ purses his lips, though there is no manifestation of stress. He points out he has nothing to hide and he is the mayor, who also signs Roman’s checks! They smirk at each other. The administrator arrives to help Roman get set up. Roman informs the mayor he must leave the room until the equipment has been properly arranged. He spies Will in the doorway and quietly urges him to stay away from that guy. Will is nervous in the hallway. EJ remarks it is scary at the top and Will now has a lot to lose. He solemnly saunters back in when Roman announces they are ready. EJ removes his tie and is hooked up. Roman suggests Will wait outside but EJ snaps the boy stays! Roman takes Will outside for a moment and suggests he work for someone else cos EJ is dangerous! Perhaps they should sit down and have a real talk soon. Will nods. Roman reminds him he loves him and they go back inside. Spencer mutters to Roman that these results are important. Roman, however, suspects EJ and his bag of tricks might still be able to manipulate the results. The administrator begins with a few known questions to test that the equipment is functioning. When the he asks if EJ is the son of Stefano DiMera, EJ hesitates. Will stares. EJ feigns indignance and thunders these are pointless questions. They ask him to calm down. He does not. Instead, he rages on, exclaiming this is preposterous and these are not the questions he is there for them to ask. Rafe enters and EJ acts as though his mere presence infuriates him. The administrator notes if he does not relax, this test will not be usable. Roman suspects it is precisely what he wanted. But EJ is not the only one playing games.
