| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Monday, July 9, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! ACCUSED. EJ gets set up and loses - Part 2 - Nicole offers Dan a surfboard if he wins. He is not sure. She has not decided what she would want. She teases she is competitive when something big is involved. She proceeds to sink all the shots and Dan realizes he has been had! - Brady sits Madison down on the Kiriakis sofa and vows he has been clean for years. Now he has something worth fighting for too. She laments they were supposed to be planning their wedding. He gets angry about Ian trying to ruin things. He went after THEM. He insists he is not lying. Madison is doubtful and quickly loses her patience. She is not sure what to think and starts to leave. He stops her and tells the tale of why he became an addict. He was unhappy and lost his mother, then the drugs made him feel empty, which gave him freedom from the pain. The emptiness, however, left the day he fell in love with her. He chooses THEM and their love. They embrace. Madison is close to tears. She desperately wants to believe him … - Ian thanks his man for the good work once he arrives and shows him the box of stuff he had exchanged with the legit protein mix. He will deposit the money to his account. The flunky offers to help him with the drawer but Ian would rather he not get involved. He walks out. Kate returns and notices Ian is holding a box of protein supplement, like the ones Brady is always drinking. She takes a packet and decides to try one. - Nicole defeats Dan at shooting hoops and he is dismayed she hustled him. She boasts of her athletic legs. He admires them and wonders what he owes her. Nothing. He grins he pays his debts. What does he owe her? She smiles she has a fun idea and takes him out of the pub by the hand. - Austin gives Carrie a tray of soup and food in bed. She thanks him. He offers to get the juice she likes from the market. She is grateful but does not need to be waited on hand and foot. She starts to eat and he talks house hunting. Carrie claims just the idea makes her feel exhausted. Austin has some virtual tours courtesy of their realtor and hands her the ipad to enjoy. He excitedly shows her a house. She bites her lip and blinks back the tears. Austin insists this is the house of their dreams. He touches her baby bump and for a moment she imagines he is Rafe. Her face radiates love. Austin now wonders if she is even listening to him. He had said this could be perfect. Carrie stammers he is right. - Rafe wonders if EJ was trying to throw the test results. EJ snaps he came down to the station voluntarily. Spencer thinks Rafe and Roman should give the man a break. Roman states not until they get answers. EJ drawls he will get them when this test is conducted in a professional manner. The administrator announces that Mr. DiMera getting excited compromised even the control questions. EJ wishes they would get on with it. Roman gives him a knowing look and promises they will indeed! And so it is back to square one … - Kate mixes the protein drink and raises it to her red lips when Ian grabs her in a kiss, causing the drink to be knocked over. He is sorry but adds it tastes horrible and she should avoid it. Kate now gets the envelope for her marketing presentation. Ian notices. He slyly suggests they go out after the meeting. She promises to be quick and gives him a kiss. He sighs in frustration that the locked drawer is now empty. - It is back to business at the police station as a lie detector test gets underway with Salem’s illustrious mayor. Roman asks EJ if he had a complicated relationship with his father. Yes. Did he see and argue with Stefano the day he was murdered? Yes. Roman now gets straight to the point. “Did you kill Stefano DiMera?” EJ pauses, then replies NO. Rafe thinks that is all they need. The administrator will have the results shortly. Roman ominously warns the mayor his fate could be sealed. EJ suggests they might be surprised by the results. Roman retorts they shall see! - Dan is giving Nicole a foot massage on the town square sofa. He points out she could have had anything she wanted. She smiles sometimes all a girl needs is a good massage. She informs her personal massage boy her shoulders are sore as well. He gets to it and breathes on her neck. Nicole gasps that is good, then wants to race him back to her place. He hopes the loser will pays for room service. She agrees and gets a head start. He laughs she is cheating again! - Will notices EJ seems very confident. That is because he is! They wait with bated breath as Roman returns with Spencer and Rafe. The results are in! Meanwhile, outside, the administrator is approached by a figure wearing a black coat, black gloves whose face is not shown. The figure appears to be a portly, big man. He silently hands the administrator a large wad of cash. Back at the station, EJ calmly finishes buttoning his shirt and promises not to hold Roman’s arrogance against him. Roman’s attention turns to the file he is holding. “Sorry Mr. Mayor, I can’t say the same." EJ is flabbergasted. WOT? Roman elaborates. “You failed. The test shows you lied to me when I asked you if you had murdered your father. You said no, which means the real answer is yes. You DID kill Stefano DiMera!” Will looks ready to pee his pants. EJ attempts to keep his composure, though his eyes betray his emotions … END |
