She cannot, for she has a meeting with Brady and Madison. Ian grumbles he will probably be stoned again! Kate repeats her question about whether he is drugging Brady as she did not believe his previous reply. He calmly reminds her the lad was a drug addict long before he arrived in Salem. Kate notes the timing is rather odd. Ian feigns indignance that she would even suspect him of such a thing and points out Brady is weak! He accuses Kate of thinking the worst of him. What would be his motivation? He stole away Madison. Ian claims he has the woman he loves. All he wants is for Brady not to run their business into the ground … - Madison tries to wake up sleeping, stoned, shirtless Brady. It is not easy. He sits up and she asks what is the matter. Brady gasps that he is coming down off a high though he has not been using. She wonders how that can be. He snaps he does not know how it happened but he sure knows exactly who did this to him! Madison does not appear to share his sentiment. She does not wish to argue about this. Brady remains convinced that Ian is the culprit. Madison, however, reasons he is happy with Kate and has no problem with them being together. Brady believes him to be a bitter, jealous man. Madison questions how he could even have gotten the drugs into his system. Brady admits he has no idea. Madison decides to take the meeting without him and hopes he will be able to pull himself together. She wants him to stay put and departs. Sweaty, gasping Brady sees his reflection in the mirror and immediately calls sponsor Maggie, painfully aware that he needs help. No answer. He curses and sits back down on the bed. His hands are shaking as he comes to the realization that only one thing will help him now …! - At the town square, a happy little group is shown. Abigail is helping Cameron with the kids and baseball today. She makes Ciara and Theo put their garbage in the trash. Once they are briefly alone, Camerson likes what he sees and gives her a kiss. Ciara laughs they are as bad as her parents. Cameron states the time has come to go home. Theo protests for his mommy will not be there. Cam crouches down and assures the little man his daddy will be there and he promised his mommy he would help him. Cam will help too. Theo hugs him. Abigail is touched by the scene. - Maternal Kayla emerges from Abe’s kitchen, heaving helped out. He will not have to cook a meal for weeks with all that food! He woefully puts down Lexie’s picture after he thanks her, then invites her to stay. She explains her mom is with Joey so she can. What needs to be done next? He holds his coffee and confesses he needs company. He misses Lexie. She is sympathetic. It will get better in time. They sit and Kayla recounts how when she feared she had lost Steve, she appreciated her child that much more and was able to cling to that. She felt badly her father would not see her grow up and so many moments made her cry. Abe does not know what to do when Theo is back in school. Kayla is sure he will make a difference. Abe emotionally states he must get an important job to make his son proud. Kay points out he is the keeper of Lexie’s memory and that is plenty important. Abe is sorry for she too is dealing with loss. She thinks it is not the same. Abe tries to make her feel better by stating she and Steve could still have a future. Things might turn around. Kayla glumly doubts it. After that last conversation she and Steve had, she is quite sure their marriage is over. Abigail enters and wants to know if that is true. Ciara and Theo race in chanting they played baseball and had ice cream. Cam follows closely behind.Abigail still wants an answer from her Aunt Kayla so they go out to the garden for a chat. Meanwhile, the kids inform Abe they had fun. Ciara even saw Cameron and Abigail kissing! The kids go upstairs to play. Cam assures Abe he can explain. Abe laughs he approves and so did Lexie. He knows what it is like to be young and gives him his blessing to be with Abigail. - Out in Lexie’s rose garden, Kayla explains to curious Abigail that one cannot live in limbo forever. Abigail wants to know if anyone else knows she and Steve are divorcing. No and she would rather she not tell anyone until she can reach Stephanie. Abigail warns her Ciara overheard and she cannot keep a secret. She also saw her and Cam kissing. But it did not mean much, given that his job here at the hospital was only temporary. Kayla had assumed he wanted to stay here for Theo. Abigail is not so sure. Cam is extremely ambitious. Kayla realizes she does not want this to end and advises her to just tell Cam if she wants him to stay. - Down in Andrew’s basement, Gabi is horrified by what she has seen. “What have you done!” Andrew recalls she ordered him to get Mel out of the way and now she is. Gabi cannot believe it. She thinks he is out of his mind! He kidnapped her friend and he will be in big trouble if he gets caught. Andrew suddenly grins they are in it together. She cannot believe he would do this to her and Mel! Andrew coldly notes Chad would not be impressed with HER if he heard how she was the one who came between him and his precious Melanie. She begs him not to tell Chad. He leers she should not tell the cops about him. There is no turning back now. Besides he did her a very big favor. She insists this is not at all what she wanted. She cannot do this! - After getting a text from Madison that Brady will not make the meeting, Kate kisses Ian and departs to do damage control. Once she is gone, evil Ian makes a call. “We have Brady Black right where I want him! He’s going to need something very soon. Keep a very close watch on him.
