| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Thursday, July 5, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE RIGHT STUFF - Part 2 - Cameron is glad to hear Abe and Lexie would approve for he likes Abigail a great deal. They have a special connection. Abe agrees she is a special young woman. Theo likes her too as well as Cam. Cam is glad to be in the little man’s life though he regrets not having the chance to get to know Lexie better. Abe goes on to praise his late wife as his one true love. Cam hopes he can find that one day. Abe knowingly grins that perhaps he already has! - Abigail suspects Cam might already know how she feels. Kayla insists she must know for sure. Abigail admits she has made some big mistakes recently, with Austin and also Chad. She has a history of assuming more than there is and does not wish to make that mistake with Cam. Kayla places a reassuring hand on her shoulder as they stand by the pretty flowers and notes one must take a chance for romance. She should at least ask him what he feels. Abigail is still nervous. Kay thinks her heart should be her guide. When she first met Steve, he was not the man her folks would have wanted but she trusted her instincts and went with it. They had several wonderful years together and two great kids. Abigail is sorry they did not last a lifetime. Kayla is pragmatic. Many couples do not last a lifetime. But some have wonderful years. Imagine if Abe and Lexie had never shared their feelings. Theirs was a great love story! Abigail agrees and hugs her aunt in gratitude. - Andrew sarcastically offers to release Mel, even though it means Gabi risks losing Chad forever. Gabi laments she has no choice as it is the right thing to do. Andrew notes Mel will go to the cops and they will both end up in the slammer! He goes to opens the door. Upset Gabi gasps to wait. He should never have kidnapped Mel! Andrew announces they will eventually release her and she will not be able to identify them, as he wears a mask and she has not seen Gabi anywhere. By the time she is released, Gabi will be with Chad, assuming she can get him to fall in love with her. She snaps of course she can but she does not want her friend to be harmed. Andrew ominously promises to take good care of her. Gabi’s head is spinning. He must not hurt her friend. He chuckles to worry about him as she already tried to escape. Gabi reminds him to be nice for she has been a good friend to her. Andrew gets it. He taunts Gabi that Mel fell in love with Chad and then SHE was willing to plot and scheme against her. This was her doing! Gabi snaps to shut up. It was not like that. Andrew reasons the longer she is gone, the better for Gabi. He exclaims to stop DISRESPECTING him! Instead, she should appreciate and use this golden opportunity he has provided. The ball is in her court. Gabi now orders him to hold Mel for the time being and make sure she does not escape. Her focus remains on Chad, though she demands Andrew treat her friend well. He gets a strange glint in his eyes and promises he sure will. “Don’t you worry!” - Cam gets a call as Abigail and Kayla return to the living room. He is grateful for the offer and wonders when he must head to Chicago. He cannot wait to start. Kayla ushers Abe out of the room to give the young people their privacy. Dr. Cam gets off the phone and excitedly informs Abigail he starts his new job tomorrow. She sighs that was so fast and unhappily concludes the time has come to say goodbye. He is baffled by her behavior. She quips she overheard his new job is in Chicago. Wrong! The job is at Salem University Hospital, while only the training session is in Chicago. Abigail is overwhelmed. Cam drawls he is staying in Salem with his nephew and HER. They passionately kiss. - Brady gets a text and plans a meeting. His shirt now on, he exists the hotel room in a hurry. - Madison takes a deep breath before the meeting. Kate enters the board room and remarks Madison does not seem to be herself. She insists she is fine. What about Brady? Madison lies he has a bug, that is all. Kate wonders when she will finally face the facts. “Your boyfriend is on drugs again!” Madison would rather not discuss. Kate persists.She understands, as two of her kids are recovered addicts. Madison had no idea. Kate confesses it was a constant struggle with hard work and tears. A terrible time. Madison whispers she is sorry. Kate explains one goes through denial, guilt, then the worry the loved one could end up dead. She simply must take action with Brady before it is too late! Madison appreciates her concern but remains in denial. Brady is just sick. Kate’s phone rings and she explains their client has arrived. She stops at the door and solemnly reminds Madison that Brady needs help, not excuses and someone to enable him, - Brady meets a dealer at the town square gate for a fix. He hands him a wad of cash and gets the stuff. He stares at the packet he soon holds in his hands and twitches the way drug addicts do. - Gabi suspiciously wonders what is in this for Andrew. He claims it is about the money and reminds her she will get Chad. She glances through the peephole at sleeping Mel and concludes she already has, though she is sorry for Mel. Andy touches her hair and murmurs he is certain Chad will know he has done the right thing when he is with her. - Ian gets a call from the man he had tailing Brady. He has sent him the pictures he wanted. Ian is pleased and mutters the check is in the mail. He now glances at the photographs which have been transmitted to his iphone. They are incriminating photographs of Brady the drug addict and his desperate drug purchase. - Meanwhile, Brady is alone in a room. He has laid out a few lines of cocaine on a book. He sniffles and takes a good look at himself in the mirror … END |
