He is dismayed she did not stay in bed. She laments Sami quitting was the worst time. Now she must find and train a new executive and feels she should push back the date of the men's line promo tour. Brady disagrees! She wants to know why. He points out it is tied together with other Titan promotions and would disrupt the schedule. It would simply be too damn expensive. Madison wants to focus of her newer product line. He would hate to pull rank ... Madison snaps she will run things as she sees fit! Brady appears stunned. She accuses him of not respecting her. He reminds her that he must consider Titan. She yells at him for overdoing it cos they are dating. He insists he is treating her just like everyone else. She snaps he did not even listen. Maybe she was right and they shouldn't be sleeping together. Brady stares. - Sami and Kate are in a board room at Countess Wilhelmina. It is Sami's first day on the job and Kate is all business. Sami thanks her for the job. She hopes they will not regret it. Kate interrupts her when she starts to share her ideas by demanding she tell her all she knows about Mad World Cosmetics! Sami stares in disbelief. She realizes she was foolish to think Kate had no agenda. Kate acknowledges she is smart and good at her job, but she wants the inside scoop. Sami argues that sounds illegal and unethical. Kate has no interest in her righteous indignation. She wants her to sell out Madison. Sami flat out refuses! Madison was loyal and gave her an opportunity. Kate reminds her that she presently owes HER. Sami quips it would not be right. Kate recalls she has always been self-serving. Sami declares that is why she will not play. She signed a non-disclosure agreement with Madison and does not wish to be jailed for corporate espionage. Kate airily states she would never find out. But Sami still fears prison. Kate promises if she is a team player, she will be rewarded. If not, she will be FIRED! She remarks they are alike. Sami claims she is not as ruthless as her. In the end, however, one tried to poison people's brownies, the other pumped her ex with a bullet. Sami regrets accepting her offer. Kate informs her if things go right, then she will be rewarded. She adds jobs are scarce. Now, is she in or out? Sami forces a smile and agrees to tell her whatever she needs to know! Kate is mighty pleased. - At the town square café, a meeting is underway. Jen wants to go over an agenda for the campaign and hands the necessary paper to Lexie, Abe, EJ, and Nicole. EJ makes a snide remark to Lexie. Jen notes EJ might be afraid of going head to head with Abe on the issues. She wants to know why they will not allow the voters to get their point across. Nicole retorts she has no patience for listening to Joe the plumbers at the mike. EJ and Abe both step away to take a call. Nicole dismisses the average voter as someone who cares more about reality TV than politics. Lexie and Jen have a different view, however. EJ and Abe are just finishing up their work calls as the gals continue to bicker. The two candidates wonder if their PR people even notice they are there. They sound like the ones running for office! EJ has had enough of all the strategizing. Abe points out if EJ wins, he will end up working for Nicole anyway, and everyone. He warns that being mayor is not about controlling the city council. EJ sarcastically retorts he sounds like he wants him to be ineffectual. Abe explains one must know what to do. Nearby, Nicole suddenly stands up and threatens to cancel on Lexie and Jen. - Marlena wishes Will a friendly good morning at the condo. He hopes John was not upset when he heard. Marlena explains she did not tell him the details of their private conversation. Breakfast is ready. Will thanks her again for listening. She wonders if he is up for discussing this some more. Will sheepishly considers. He then suggests he go, as his mother and Rafe might be worried. She replies she texted his mom already. She wants him to discuss what he saw with Sami and EJ. Will bitterly wants to call it what it was. He caught his mother having sex with EJ, which means she broke her wedding vows and betrayed the family. He will NOT forgive her! Marlena asks about when it all happened. Will recounts the tale of Johnny going missing, being feared dead, how he ventured to the mansion and saw them together. If only he could erase that picture from his mind! He knew his mom was selfish but would rather not have known what a "heartless, evil, slut she is!" Marlena reminds him she is still his mother and loves him. Will doubts she loves anyone but herself. Marlena tries to calm him down. Will exclaims she did right by marrying Rafe but now their family will be torn apart and he therefore hates her! She was too busy bed hopping to pay attention to him when he was growing up but he wants better for the other kids, who have stability with Rafe. Marlena quietly wonders whether Rafe knows. Will is certain he does not, for his mom would never admit that. He wonders if he should tell him as he deserves to know. Marlena wants him to tell her what he thinks would happen then. Then Rafe would leave and the kids would all lose him. Will does not what that to happen. He is torn about what to do ... - At the town square, Nicole insists it is not unreasonable to have the questions in advance. EJ and Abe approach the three angry women and announce they have come to a decision together! There will be three televised debates, on jobs and the economy, social issues, and also the environment. Voters will be able to present questions, which will be kept under lock and key until the actual debate. The three women laugh at the sudden cooperative spirit of the candidates. They insist they were only having a passionate discussion and think the men were being sexist by assuming otherwise! - At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady asks Madison if what she means is that she wants to break up with him ... - At Countess Wilhelmina, Sami informs Kate that Madison has a new product line for the young and she has set aside a lot of money. There is no date yet and Madison has been upset about the various delays. Kate purrs she could just kiss her right now! She arranges for them to meet with the head of product development. She assures nervous Sami there will be no problems. Besides, they will improve all of Madison's ideas. Does she have anything else? Sami replies there might be more on her laptop.
