| DAYS OF OUR LIVES SUMMARY Part 2 Tuesday, January 3, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! New Beginnings - Or Not! Part 2 - Madison assures Brady she does not want to break up. Neither does he. She notes what they are trying to do is a delicate balancing act. They both want to make this work and decide to hit the restart button. They will compromise and hug on it. - At the condo, Marlena suddenly realizes why Sami was so desperate to renew her wedding vows with Rafe in the presence of family and friends. She must have wanted a new start. She explains to Will that his mother feared she had lost her son when the indiscretion happened. Will thinks that is no excuse for having sex with EJ. Marlena believes they were in pain and were trying to forget that pain. Will notes she slept with a man who has hurt their family, and how do they know it was the only time! Marlena thinks it was the only time and Sami does love Rafe. The guilt must be eating away at her. Will wonders how she can defend her. She tells him what he already knows - that she too once made the same mistake. She sadly adds all these years later, her sins seem to have come full circle. Will tries to make her feel better. Marlena notes Sami is still scarred by what she and John did all those years ago. The suffering has not vanished. Will points out it was so long ago. Marlena thinks they should not judge Sami, but Will cannot look at her the same way. She urges him to try. He cannot. She implores him to do it for himself. She knows what it can do to people who carry a deep, dark secret. She does not want him to have the same difficult relationship with his mother that his mother still has with her. If he does not put this behind him, then he will be the only one hurt! Will looks surprised. - At the mansion, Brady and Madison have come to an agreement and kiss. He worries that Sami could share some of their business plans with Kate. Madison assures him she signed a confidentiality agreement. Brady is relieved. He sister is many things, but surely not stupid ... - Sami is at the loft, scrambling to get to all the Mad World documents on her laptop computer. Will enters and is clearly ready to talk, but Sami is busy. The computer has frozen and boss Kate calls, hurrying her up. Sami barely even notices her son. She promises they can talk later and takes off with the computer. - Marlena is waiting for an update at the condo. Will calls and laments his mom only has time for herself. She blew him off and rushed back to the office. Marlena points out it was her first day on her new job. She suggests he try again, when she is not so busy. Will, however, decides he will not listen to any of her cr*p anyway. He knows he will not be able to forgive her. Maybe never! Marlena is dismayed as he hangs up. - Back at the town square, Nicole informs EJ she has a plan. He is not surprised. She intends to get the debate questions from the moderator in advance, which means he will have the best answers prepared. Abe will not know what hit him! EJ kisses her and they happily depart together. - Meanwhile, Jen and Lexie suspect Nicole is going to attempt to get the questions before the debate. Jen announces to team Abe that she has a counter-plan ...! - Back at the mansion, Brady promises Madison he will give her every professional consideration and they kiss passionately. - Flustered Sami returns to Kate's office with the computer. Kate purrs that as a team, she has a feeling they will be unstoppable! Sami does not deny it. - Meanwhile, Marlena flashes back to a very young Sami raging at her for having an affair with John and cheating on her then husband Roman. She blinks back to the present. Marlena holds a framed photograph of Sami and Will, fights back the tears, and whispers "Oh dear God this can't be happening again ..." END Next on Days of Our Lives Bo gets choked up as he informs Dr. Marlena and a grief-stricken Hope that he is responsible for what happened to their little boy. Sonny places a hand on Will's shoulder, looks him in the eye, and assures him he can tell him ANYTHING. At the town square, Chad is lovingly touching Mel's face. Abigail comes around the corner. "What the hell is this!" |
